Ok, I understand that I must suspend a certain amount of belief for this show and comic canon as a whole, but seriously, come on!

Clark Superspeeding right in front of a whole squad of police and inside the hospital.

Come on now...

But I did enjoy when the Sheriff was like "hot dam Mr Kent, I always said you should join law enforcement" or something like that, but shes dead now :(

That's nothing new. He's been superspeeding in public since season 1. I'm pretty sure it was "Zero" when Clark speeds away from Chloe and a huge crowd of students outside of Smallville High. I also remember him speeding away from the Talon in "Rush", after Lana woke him up with a bucket of water. There were plenty of people walking down the street who should have noticed he disappeared in a split second, or that a strange gust of wind swept past them.

If you watch carefully in the hospital Clark looks back and then around with his eyes before superspeeding off. Watch carefully.

When he was talking to the sheriff she turned her back for a second and then Clark took off. All the deputies were milling around the other end of Lana's car, if memory serves. Still, I agree that Clark does this far too often.

I noticed Clark looking around clearly. He did it for a good 2-3 seconds before he dashed off.

I didn't think that Clark was looking around. I thought he was just thinking about whether he should superspeed or not and then he realizes that he has no choice but to and then goes for it.
