Absolutely! It was hands down the best part of the ep. Oh that and Lexana getting busted by Clark when they hugged! Total Covenant revisit! Finally back to classic Lexana where Lana actually likes Lex!

I remember when I saw Covenant feeling a little bit sorry for Clark when he saw Lex hugging Lana, but now I've become so hardened that I laughed evily at the expression on the BDA's face when he saw them hugging in this episode.

Loved Lex's comment about Clark's hair. It was cute. :D

I was fully expecting Clark to have the inexplicable timing to witness the Lexana hug and when it happened, I laughed as well. Are we supposed to feel for him or something? I say that we all laugh maniacally together...

Ha ha ha ha....I thought that Lex's comments after having been shot were great. He was probably delerious from pain and well bleeding to death, so his guard was down, and he was honest with his feelings. He was trying to show Lana that he acres for her as "more than a friend" and he is insecure about his baldness. It was a side of Lex that I really enjoyed, but I doubt we will see very much of since he is a Luthor and all. Although he did seem a little reluctant to admit that when Lana said that in the hospital room. I see him as going bad, but still wanting the wife (lana) and 2.5 kids, so trying to hold onto a little of the good side as well.

Yes! That line was superb! Gosh, really, at that moment, with lex's guard down we all saw lex's purity...And since lex's insecurities hardly ever come to question on this show it really gave him that little twinge of normality and just being human...I really loved that.

Actually I've heard of cases where an actor has to shave his head for a movie, that shavng the head every single day, can cause trauma to the scalp and hair, and then sometimes the hair won't grow back.

I loved this line for a couple of reasons. First off, just because Michael is such a funny guy and it's great to see him be allowed to use his humor in the show.

And second, because the classic image of Lex Luthor is one of a crazy, mad scientist-type who always fills moments with maniacal laughter. Not to mention the humor Gene Hackman's Lex Luthor brought to the films back in the 70's.

I've always felt SV has blatantly left out that necessary humor from Lex's character, and sometimes when a character is too serious they come across as overly-dramatic (melodramatic, some might say), like he was plopped out of a Soap Opera or something. And as serious as Soap Opera actors are all the time, they are not generally taken seriously by the general viewing public.

Keep the random funny lines coming, I say!

I'm just little disapointed because until now writters never gave to Clark and Lana such a good and romantic lines to them. When I watched Lex talking to Lana about his hair it was well written but this could have fit a thousand times better with Clark and Lana. CLANA affair is not convincing because of writters decision that's why some people found it annoying.

Well, speaking of hair cut, I don't think Lex with hair would change anything, he betrayed Lana and others that I don't get this new (eventual) story.

I'd say Lana's BDA boyfriend has betrayed her the most by not respecting her enough to tell her the truth about himself and then just leading her on with lies.

It really was a touching line. The whole scene was beautifully written and that line - funny and poignant - started it all. MR and KK played it all so well, and their Lex / Lana were amazing.

It would be RedPhoenix. But I don't think he needs to worry. Everytime he has a break, it starts growing back and his hairline isn't receded at all. I hope he never grows it too much out though. I love it when it's just like stubble, *g*.
