What you expect, she was taught by Lex. For somebody who is supposed to be Superman's archenemy, he sure gets beat up, shot, kidnapped, and held hostage by every Dick and Jane(s).

At this point, I'm not sure he can hold his own against the Olsen twins.

So far, its really hard to imagine Lex as the future super villian we know he becomes & its hard to imagine Clark as the future Superman.

Lana was taught the very basics from Lex and then signed up for karate lessons.

I guess she's not the best fighter on the show anymore lol

what's weird is that lana uses her karate skills now. what happened to the other times she needed it like in "Commencement" when Genevieve was attacking her.
