As usual this was Chloe's night and episode of Excellent one liners, some of which are Top of the Charts in her dialog with Clark!
Just to name a good one!:
"Clark!? Can you at least put on the breaks before you tornado my homework?...."
Any other Chloe dialog one liners you can remember from 'Lockdown', you can list them!

Yeah, Chloe always gets the best lines. I also liked the "I wish I could do that!" :D It must be really annoying when Clark does that!

I'm tempted to say "Nuff Said".....but I like hearing as many good things about our little blonde reporter as I can.
The "Slickest Blonde" Line was definitely the slickest quote tonight!

I also liked "Super Shake!"

The "Super Shake" was my third best line she did!
Should have done a poll here!
By Rank, my favorites are:
#1. I'm The Slickest Blonde You'll Ever Meet!
#2. Would you put on the brakes before you tornado my homework Clark!
#3. Super Shake!
Also, you noticed that during the super shake scene as she was describing how to proceed past the guard, that Clark did the similar description in Mortal as he and Chloe attempted to hack through the LuthorCorp Security door's defense.
In both situations of those episodes, they each devised a quicker way around the obstacles!!
I'll give the writers only credit for that and "Chloe's Patented One Liners"!!!:)

I love Chloe's one-liners! Best part of SV, I swear!

For me it would be:
#1. "Man, I wish I could do that." - I absolutely love that line! Chloe must get a little frustrated sometimes to be talking to Clark one minutes, and the next he's completely gone.
#2. Would you put on the brakes before you tornado my homework Clark! - Just that slightly annoyed look, partly grinning look she had on her face said it all
#3. I'm The Slickest Blonde You'll Ever Meet!
#4. Super Shake!

I would just like to point out that this season's Chloe is about forty times better than that of the past. I never really cared for whiney, why-don't-he-like me Chloe. Now I'm terrified she's the one that's going to bite it...

This is why I fear they're going to kill her. She's too popular. She must be annihilated because she has as many(?) fans as Lana.

I've been wondering about that to.......to quote Kent Senior....I've been crunching the numbers.....and Chloe's fans seem to be growing exponentially day by day......especially with all the re-runs on ABC the family channel........Clark's fans however?........now that's a different story.

Does it really matter which character people like best, as long as they're watching the show?? Doesn't this just tell TPTB to give Chloe more screen time, and more lines, and NOT get rid of her.....

Don't worry folks, Chloe's fine and she is staying, but there are some qualities I feel should be stated about our....
Slickest Blonde You'll Ever Meet:
*She's loyal and loving caring!!
*She is strong minded and a great investigator for truth and justice.
Allison's Chloe is Slick and Gorgeous! :p

I loved the "wish I could do that" line! Best part of the whole show! Made me forget a bout Lana being a selfish brat!
I don't think they'd kill her. Not now anyways. I cry if they killed her, but I don't think I would if they killed Lana. Why wouldn't they realize that? They wouldn't kill her when so many people like her.

Well, there is a world of difference between Clark and Chloe. Chloe is the slickest blonde anyone will ever see, while Clark is the Biggest Dumb Alien we will ever see.
Yes, Chloe fans are growing. The more the better cuz maybe then Al/Miles will be forced to give her more attention and hence make Clark less insensitive!!!
In fact, I think that the more insensitive Clark is, the more Chloe fans will develop as more people will see what old Chloe fans have seen since the Tempest when Clark ran off.

Chloe is the hottest part of the show, she keeps getting better and better. You've all mentioned this ep's one liners, I'm just piping in to agree 100%.
I am doubting she'll be the one. When Jonathon stated that by taking the MB's money he'll be the one to take the consequences (or whatever his exact words), it made me think that MB was (is?) in habitated by Jor-El, and Jor-El IS going to make someone pay the consequences for BDA's actions. When JK said that, I thought he's the one....

AM's performance of Chloe is definately one of the highlights of the show for me. TPTB seem to create some very memorable lines to fit her situations.

They are just "keeping her smart" as Allison requested several years ago in that writer's meeting!
And they have to this day!:D

Chloe is definitely the slickest blonde Clark'll ever meet. And if they kill her off next week, I am going to be UBER pissed. She's the only reason I'm actually still watching "Smallville" now that there's an increase in sappy Clana crap. Sigh.

Chloe had the potential to be a break-out character. These are characters that become more popular than anyone expected, and can become even more popular depending on what the show does with them.
Most shows try to capitalize on a break-out character, because they know that it doesn't matter which characters are popular. Any popular character will help the show.
For example, Angel was supposed to die in season 1 of BtVS. But he was so popular with fans, not only did Joss Whedon not kill him off, Angel became an even bigger part of the show (Angelus in season 2, for example) and eventually got his own show.
AlMiles seemed to go in the complete opposite direction. They knew how popular Chloe was back in season one. (Even talked about how much her popularity suprised them in interveiws.) But she wasn't the female character they wanted to be popular. Far from building Chloe up to capitalize on fan response to her, they gave us season two...where, if anything, they seemed to make a conscious effort to tear the character down, and make viewers like her less. Which is about as sensible as an ice cream shop purposefully making one of their most popular flavors taste bad. It's a bad analogy, but you get the drift.

Actually its a very good analogy. The deliberate character assasination of season two did not go over well with fans at all and they actually own up to it a little bit in the season three DVD commentaries. It was because Chloe was such an engaging and intresting character that she was able to pretty much survive it. It also helped that the fans were a lot smarter than TPTB were giving them credit for and could recognize said character assasination for what it was, along with the fact that TPTB knew that in order to rectify their mistake they gave her a redemption arc in season three by having her help bring down Lionel. The fact that Al/Miles did the opposite of what Joss did with Angel pretty much not only confirms what was always pretty obvious in their interviews but their obvious bias towards Lana but also why they're pretty bad showrunners.

Yes and to add to that, there is one particular writer who LIKES to write for Allison's Chloe......the name escapes me, but it is not Waid of the Chloe Chronicles!
So other writer who prefers to write for her!

I agree....but......you don't find Lexana interesting? I hate to admit it, but upon re-viewings, I'm actually not fast forwarding through any of KK's scenes (and re-playing the Lexana scenes)......to be honest......I'm still scratching my head. This episode has turned out to be one of those extremely rare occasions where I enjoyed her performance from beginning to end. And she held her own with Michael.......that is saying something.......and I'm curious to see if she & TPTB can keep it up.

What is this a worship AM thread!? Haha oh but I do enjoy all of Chloe's lines. I laughed so hard at that scene when she was in her dorm, just sitting on her bed minding her own business quieting doing her homework when all of a sudden WHOOSSSH and papers were flying everywhere as she looked frustrated and angry as if she didn't have to look up to see who did it, "Clark!"

Swhooooooosssssshhhhh
Clark: So what do ya got?
Chloe: Clark, besides a heart attack!? :p

Ha!
Allison Mack as talented as she is a very private person in her life and would allow what she allows......photo ops and interviews and screened public appearanes!
Everything else about her is strictly PRIVATE as it should be, regardless of OUR admiration for her talents and her as a person we on the internet hardly know!!!
Only her family and boyfriend Chad Krowchuk know her really, plus I am sure she has Secret Service like protection, particularly from Chad you is very protective of her as a female fan had indicated in a Maryland Memorial Day 2005 Event!
