I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I was watching "Fanatic" tonight (in Vancouver, BC it's on Mondays, following U.S's Thursdays time slot) and I didn't catch what Lana and Clark said to each other in the barn near the end (I was with my three-year-old nephew and he distracted me). Are they gonna work it out? Are they gonna take a break? Are they gonna give the sex thing another chance? Help! What were they talking about? I think it was an important scene and I was so upset when I didn't catch the last things they said. Also, why did Martha get in the car with Lionel? She must've had a good reason though. Martha Kent always does. So I pretty much missed the ending.

Lana told Clark she was kind of keeping her own secret in that she had been studying astronomy at Met U and the meteor showers. She came to the conclusion (ah, the Einstein in her) that during the first meteor shower there was one object that didn't crash as much as it landed. She knew she saw a ship after the second shower and thought that maybe there was ship at the first. In fact, what if whoever was in it had been living amongst them all these years. Cut to Clark's face with a thought balloon in Homer Simpson style ("D'OH").

Thanks, Billy. I now kinda recall hearing her say something about the ship. Thanks.

I still don't understand how Lana could've figured out a ship landed when the other astronomers couldn't.
