View Full Version : Clark screwed up

After Lana told Clark the truth and her theory about the meteor showers he had the perfect opportunity to tell her his secret.
All he had to say was "You're right and Ive been wanting to tell you the truth for a long time". That would have told her exactly what she needed to know. Instead he just sat there and did nothing. He screwed up by not telling her the truth.

He didn't because he's still afraid that Lana will think he's a supervillian from outer space. In two more episodes, we will finally see what her reaction will be when Clark tells her he's from Krypton.

trurhfully, Clark screwed up in season 3. in Extinction, Lana told Clark that if he was different, he was okay. It was the best opportunity he ever had to tell her, and he screwed it up. I think he's twice as terrified now, since Lana was injured by Nam-Ek and Aethyr, that she'll think of him as "one of them". and who really wants to hear that they lost their virginity to an alien. (powers or no, he was still an alien)

I agree -- he missed his best opportunity. And when Lana finds out that Chloe knows... I don't think that's going to be ok either.

This isn't a spolier forum. How could you possibly know that he is going to tell her he is from Krypton?
I do think it would have been a great time to tell her. I think Clark is just so scared of what she would think. I mean, his fears were shown when Lana blames him for being the reason her parents are dead. If I were in that position, I think I would have broken up with Lana right after I came back from the dead. You just can't explain something like that. Unless of course you don't know why you came back. But we all know, Clark knows exactly why he came back. I am sure he will tell her at some point. Whether it is in Season 5 or Season 6. She does know in the comics, so there isn't really any reason she couldn't find out.

Yeah, that would be super strange to find out you were intimate with an alien. :) It was certainly the best opportunity to tell her though. Who knows what is going on in the BDA's head. :)

I've been intimate with MANY aliens...and most turned out to be super villians, too :p
Clark is afraid to tell Lana, that will cement the fact that he can never have a true relationship with her. My word, afraid to tell someone that you're OK about playing the horizontal bop? BDA
And if Lana finds out Chloe knows, even if Clark tells her, the fact that Chloe has known for awhile while Clark continues to evade the truth with Lana ain't gonna set well with her. Lanabel may rise again.

well, to be fair, Clark only told Chloe he was an alien. If it wasn't for Alicia, she would never know. (though I suppose she still would have been in the cave in commencement, but then Lex would know too, because she wouldn't have pushed him.)
She didn't seem angry about the person she believes landed in the ship in the first meteor storm. Just fasinated that someone else walks among them and it could be anyone. (Hint, Hint LANA its CLARK! lol) It's so silly she still hasn't figured it out on her own and needs Clark to tell her.

IF I was Clark I'd be all "So, If it was someone you knew say.. Chloe, would you see her differently? Would you tell her secret? How would it make you feel? Blah, Blah, Blah.."

I'm betting what will really tick Lana off other than the fact he had been lying to her is when he tells her that Chloe and Pete have known for a while

Except that Lana didn't have sex with Chloe (I'm implying nothing you sickos! That's just wrong.) I had a funny vision where Lana goes: "OMG! My baby's gonna be 1/2 alien!"
Clark: Crud! I told mom we used protection!
Wouldn't want to feel THAT thing kicking! Thank God it'll never happen!

ok i i know im like super duper late..but at the time clark wasnt a alien..he lost all his powers and was a regular human last time i recall..so she had sex with a human, not alien.

He had no powers. He was still an Alien, just no powers.

I do not agree, if he wasn't human than he wouldn't have been able to pick up the Green K. The only thing that remained true was that he was not born on Earth.

Okay, but how will that sound to Lana? "Well, yeah, I'm an Alien. Well, not when we did it. Hmm? Until I died. What? I have no friggin clue, my dad did it. No, not my dad, my dad! His name is Jor-El. Huh? He lives in these big crystals in my fortress. No, the real fortress, not the loft. He has not spied on us...i think. No, I can't do that. Yes, I can do that. Proof? Green, strapless. No I have not! Well, thre was once, but i couldn't control it. I'm serious! I've seen you naked now anyway! Yes, I'm an alien now. I told you, I was human then. Because I didn't have my powers! Well, I could pick up the meteor rock. Well, no I AM from another planet. I'm still the same person! Uh, actually I prefer Clark. Yes, that's where Kal came from."
Okay, I got carried away and failed to prove my point. But I ask you, when Eric Summers gained Clark's powers, did that make him a Kryptonian?

right...
Human : A member of the genus Homo and especially of the species H. sapiens
Alien : a form of life assumed to exist outside the Earth or its atmosphere
He had his powers and abilities taken away not his birth place. clark kent is not the member of sapiens.;)

i think Clark decided not to tell Lana because he was afraid how she'd react to him causing her parents' death.
