ok just 2 things about this attack... First off an attack like that would almost make Jonathan a martyr and pretty much seal his victory. Second, I'm not completly sure since he was hanging upside down so maybe someone with medical knowledge could answer this... shouldn't he have died from hanging like that? I was a big rock climber for years and if someone was unconscious while hanging in their harness for 20-30 minutes without moving they would die (I can't remember why specifically). Shouldn't the same thing apply if you're hanging upside down from their ancles?
also GJ Lex's bodyguards and security blowing it once again lol

You probably have a few hours to live, eventually all the blood will flow to your brain and then you're done.

hrm ok I just can't equate the difference between hanging in a climbing harness for such a short time and hanging upside down for longer

I just can't believe 2 hits can take out Jonathan. I thought he was hit worst. He should be able to take at least 2 hits from a baseball bat...

Perhaps he can only take so much because he HAs endured worse, and he was really stressed out. plus, he didn't see it coming.

JK can easily shrug off a couple of hits from a baseball bat. What's a few broken ribs and a skull fracture to a man like him? We've seen him get a broken leg in one episode, and then be as good as new in the next episode a week later, with nobody even mentioning it at all. He's tuff.

Couldn't it have been only 20-30 min? Although I'm assuming if that much time means certain death, then a large fraction of that time would mean brain damage...but hey, this guy has a son who can shoot fire from his eyes, fly, etc...this is a comic book, remember!

all of the blood wouldn't flow to the brain, only a certain amoun twould. blood rushing to the head wouldn't result in brain damage. It would only cause Jonathan to be dazed when he was standing still but his body would recover within a matter of hours.
