Has anyone else noticed that the advertisements for tonights episode don't seem to be about Fanatic? They keep advertising that someone is going to die tonight on Smallville........network blooper?

They just do that to keep the viewer excited. That way they know that there will be an abundance of viewers for their 100th episode! chow.

well its a spoiler but the death happens in the 100th episode in 2 weeks. this is just a show trailer and not for the episode. the only part of this episode is the first part with the campiagn and lois with the gun.

They don't have a trailer just for Fanatic, they are using the smooshed up trailer that is Fanatic-centric.

oh ok...that makes more sense.....just caught me off guard and I thought I had my episode timeline mixed up.....it's a good ploy to get people to watch, but DAMN....kinda wish they'd tell more about TONIGHT's episode.

Yes they have to tease the fan to get more viewers coming back each week, ingenious.

They are doing that "Everything you wanted to see" trailer right now.

They said someone will die tonight and two people did die--the two guys from Central Kansas. So even if the trailer was misleading it was not inaccurate.

They showed the promos for the 100th during tonights episode to get people hyped up for the 100th and to make sure they get alot of viewers for that night.

Right, but they were just expendible guest shots. That would be like counting the girl who was killed in the shower by that Shaun guy who froze her into ice during the first season. She too was just a random guest shot.

Probably what the execs at WB were thinking.
