Against all Odds

This is going to be my first thread so here it goes, if you all can tell me if you like it or not that would be great thanks

This happens after the end of the second season just when Clark went to Metropolis on red-k as Kal. Here we go on with the story HOPE YOU ALL LIKE IT

A tall, young good looking man with dark hair and blue-green eyes. That could enchant any women walked down a dark street with his head down low wishing for the love of his life to show up and make him feel once more happy and alive. He never felt so alone but he wouldn’t allow himself to put her into any more danger he loved her to much to see her in pain any more so he chose to just keep his distance. All he did was cause her pain, day after day, he wish he could take it all away and allow her to never feel pain anymore. But that was not possible even for him and all his abilities he felt so weak and helpless in the sense he could do nothing to make every ounce of pain leave her. He was heart broken because of that.

As a man was approaching him he looked up to see it was a good friend of his who wanted to know if he had any plans for tonight.

“Kal what are you do tonight? We should go to Atlantis? I hear tonight there will be a bunch of hot chicks there tonight cause some chicks having her birthday party there and she’s only turning 21.”, said Tom.

As Kal was listening he had slipped his hand into his pocket to slip a Smallville class ring on to his finger. As he did this he felt a sudden rush as his eyes turned red. He so wanted to go to the club tonight more then ever. He knew he would have a blast even if the girl of his dreams wasn’t there.

“Yeah Tom we should go hit this club up for a while who knows we might get lucky or even get in a few fights.” Kal responded with a definite bad side to him being unleashed out of no where.

Tom seaming very pleased with the sudden interest within him lead the way to the club without a care in the world but to get drunk and maybe get a little acting as well. As the two walked up to the club the excited crowd quieted down as they all noticed who was approaching them with the look of a god. The girls all wanted him and most of the guys despised him for the way he was. The two entered the club without even getting in the line they had connections and everyone knew the infamous Kal.

Kal and Tom had been in the club for a while just dancing with random girls and drinking for hours when Kal decided that it would be good to leave so he could ponder a little bit on his thoughts that echoed in his mind.

“Yo Tom im leaving to get some shut eye see yea later.”Kal said with no emotion at all just confusion on his mind.

As Kal walked down the street as he kept hearing a voice in his head he assumed was his conscious it kept saying over and over again, “Should I go back to Smallville and see them all, do they really miss me as much as I miss them.”

Finally clearing his head he continued down the road when all of the sudden he heard it a real person screaming for help. Kal ran as fast as he could to see want was happening when he turned the corner, he saw an older lady maybe in her late forties getting robbed by a big tall muscle bound man. What was he to do? Without even noticing he took the ring off his finger and with a flash he was behind the man throwing him thirty feet into the air and politely giving the purse back to the lady.

She was stunned and thankful for this young mans help. She feared the worse was to happen to her if no one came, but with in seconds the man got up and pulled out a gun she had nothing to say but be scared. Kal saw the fear in her eyes and turned around to see what was behind him. With a sigh he relaxed only seeing a gun and nothing more but then he realized that he couldn’t just stop the gun if he did he would give away his secret to a lady he didn’t even know.

The man pulled the gun out of his jacket and in a few seconds he pulled the trigger and felt nothing but hatred for the young man who stopped him from getting what he desperately wanted money.

BANG BANG BANG

Three bullets flew threw the air, Kal saw them and he knew what he had to do. As they inched close to him by the second. He swiftly moved both hand and caught all three of the bulled with no problem at all. As he let the bullets fall to the ground he saw fear and confusion in the mans eyes. He ran to him and threw him to the wall once again and knocked him out and put him over his shoulder and with out saying good bye to the lady was gone in the blink of an eye.

The lady stood there in shock and disbelief at what she just witnessed. Did that really just happen did he catch those bullets with his hands? WOW That was amazing

As Kal reached the police station he dropped the man off with a letter on him saying

“I’ve been a bad man I tried to steal from a poor defenseless woman so put me in jail” sincerely your friendly help.

As an office came out to see who was out here he saw the man and was stunned and read the letter then put the man in jail. Kal realizing what he did fell pretty good with himself. For once he stood tall and walked like the man he knew he was. He felt free for hiding and being weak he felt like the old Clark did when he saved people.

Back at home in Smallville it was a deferent story. Three months had passed sense Clark had left suddenly to were every he went, without even saying good bye. His parents, Chloe, and Lana all missed him so much it hurt so much to sit and do nothing but wait to see if he would ever come back.

Lana was so upset she cried her self to sleep every night as Chloe listed to he best friend in pain and knew there was nothing she could do to comfort her but wait and see what would happen.

Lana kept thinking in her head, “why didn’t I go with him? I should have went, I might have convinced him to come back to me and his parent. I hate myself for being to scared to go I LOVED HIM. Then what was I so scared of, why didn’t I go with him? WHY ”

Martha and Jonathan were both quite worried that they would never see there son ever again. They thought maybe something bad happened to him.

“Jonathan what if Clark’s dead maybe someone found out about his weakness maybe he being exploited to do things he doesn’t want to do.” Martha was very worried as she spoke the words of a truly scared mother.

“Martha Clark’s a good kid he will be safe, and take care of himself and if he needs anything he knows were to find us, but all we can do is just wait and hope that are son will return to us with in time.”He said those words with complete confidence that his son would come back and would keep out of trouble.

“I hope so, I really hope your right.”she said with a sad tone of hope.

Acceptance

“come to me my son it is time to fulfill you destiny you can not hide from it any longer, you must come. You have with drown yourself from your loved ones if you come no ones life will be taken, but disobey my warnings and your loved ones will suffer my son. They will suffer for your disobedience do not challenge me for I am you father, Kal-El. You know were to go follow you soul it will lead you to me”


Clark woke with a cold sweat from the dream he was having and realized it was time. I must go see him about my destiny. As he got up and got dressed he turned on the tv and to his own surprise it was the older lady he saved last night she was telling the reporters about her encounter with this “Man of Steal”. He knew this would happen she couldn’t described he man as well as she’d hoped but with in time everyone would know about him and all his gifts.

After he was completely dressed he sat down to relax to see if he could sense where he was to go to see Jor-El and find out what his destiny really was. He wanted to see if he could reason with him about helping and not ruling the people of earth. After a few moment of sitting there concentrating he knew were he had to go, and he was off to the North Pole to talk to Jor-El. Clark ran for hours not stopping till he was there so he could find out what his destiny really was no matter what he wanted him to do. He only wanted to help and assist in any way toward the earth that made him only a friendly helper or a hero and no more then that. Clark stopped in the middle of no were in the North Pole, that’s when it happened

Clark heard a loud high pitched ring in his ear and as he heard it he quickly started to run towards a cave entrance and started digging a hole and fast as he could. Within time he was in a under ground hole not to big. As he looked around he saw them all, so many crystals of different colors that looked like they were there for a long time.

Suddenly he heard a voice call to him.” Kal-El my son you have finally excepted your destiny.”

“No I am only hear to find out what the true intension of my destiny is before I do anything more then that Jor-El, you hear me. Tell me what my destiny is know so I can choose to except it or not.”Clark spoke with such anger and fear all at the same time.

“My son your destiny is to save these people of earth from what they shall do to themselves. You must protect them and guide them in choosing the right path to follow. They must not follow in Krypton’s path. My son they will be a great civilization in the future they shall succeed where we Kryptonians failed, but not without you and the knowledge you will gain of your birth planet if you shall except your destiny?” The voice had no emotion just hope that his son would take and follow his destiny willingly so he would not have to control him and make him except his destiny by force.

Clark stood there pondering what the voice of his father had told him his destiny was. It was to save the people of earth and rule them but protect them. He didn’t know what to say “all this time I thought he wanted me to rule and control earth for Krypton not save it from destruction.” He didn’t know what to say till it just came out.

“Father I shall except my destiny under one condition.”

“Yes, my son what is that I shall oblige if it is possible but I can only do so much, but I shall try.”

“Father you must not bring my loved ones into the matters of my destiny anymore no matter what. You must promise me that or I shall not except my destiny.”He said it with a firm voice of seriousness.

“Kal-El it will be done. You must stay here and train to except your destiny and when the time is right you will save many people from a great evil in time but I am not sure how much time.”

“Yes Father I shall stay and train, but for how long will I be hear for?”

“ My son you shall stay for only three earth days then you will be sent to fulfill your destiny.”
Clark stayed and in doing so he learned so much about his home planet and the emanate doom they had faced. He was sad, happy, scared, nervous he was everything that he could be during the time he learned about his past. Clark had made the Fortress Of Solitude much bigger then it originally was. He learned how to control all his powers and he learned to fly and use his ice breath. The most important think he gained from his stay at the F.O.S. was from a dark blue colored crystal that tapped into his true inner power which was unimaginable he could move a planet if so desired.

Clark felt like a god, he had complete control over all his powers and he gained so much knowledge from his stay, but he knew it was time to go and help the people of earth. With Truth, Justice, and the American way. He said his good-byes to his father and was ready to go. His father gave him a pure black suit with a red S which red was worn by the most powerful Kryptonians.

He said, “Do with it what you want wear a mask or not but you must protect them Kal-El you are there last hope. They shall not understand why you do what you do but you must.”

“Yes father I will I shall not fail at my destiny I shall succeed.” Clark was even more determined now more then every to protect and serve.

He took off like a rocket in a hurry to get back to his simply life but at the same time to help those in need of his services. He wanted so badly to see and talk to his family and friends but what could he do he had excepted his destiny. But Jor-El told him that it was ok to see his family but they must not try and stop him from fulfilling his destiny. So what was he to do, go see them but tell them hey I cant stay but I came to see you all and say I miss you very much. You cant know were I am and you can come see me.

“How is this going to work will I just stay away forever or what?”he questioned what to do for hours after he returned to Metropolis. Finally coming to a conclusion that he would sleep on it then make his decision tomorrow.

Clark slept very good that night not having any nightmares or anything just a peaceful sleep of no more then his future and saving people from evil. He awoke a little after nine in the morning and got dressed to go see his parents for the first time in months. But he knew he had to be careful and not let them know, till he knew no one else was around to see him. He took off to Smallville with himself filled with joy.

Chapter 3

Smallville

“Martha when is Lana going to be here for dinner?”

“Soon, she’ll be here in a few minutes just make sure that your ready to eat, so go get cleaned up?” Jonathan hurried to the bathroom to clean up for dinner, on his way up he had a sudden urge to look in to his missing sons bedroom for old time sake. He felt like he had lost something that was real important to him like his heart had been ripped out of his chest. He gazed in the room that hadn’t been touched sense Clark left, it was the same way as he left it.

“Jonathan, Lana’s here come down so we can all eat dinner.”

“Coming dear be there in a second.”he said as he hurried to the bathroom to clean up for dinner.
“What happened were did he go. I wish he would just come back we all miss his especially Lana. She can’t get him off her mind what if something really did happen to him. No I won’t allow myself to think that, he’s fine I know he is.”

“Jonathan come on were both starving, so hurry up down so we can eat.”

“Martha im here”Jonathan said,” Hi Lana how are you today”

“Well im ok but I sure am starving”they all laughed almost as if they had forgot about Clark, but deep down inside they all missed his and were sad he wasn’t here with them for this meal.

Clark finally landed and ran the rest of the way but stop at a distance to use is x-ray vision to see who was all there. Before he could, he noticed a special someone’s SUV in front of his house so instead he listened in.

“I know Lana we all miss as much as you do but we have to except the fact that he might not come back to us.”Martha stated with a sad low tone.

“I know but I miss him so much I wish he were here with us. I don’t care if he left I would forget that he left if he were to walk right threw that door right know.”

“What should I do should I go. No I can’t I don’t want to put her in any danger she would probably be the first one they would go after. So I’ll stay my distance till dinners over.”he said in sadness.

As dinner finished they all said there good bye’s to Lana as she drove off to Chloe’s house. As Clark realized that he took off running to the house as soon as he knew she couldn’t see him. He approached the house but stopped a few feet away from the steps and took a deep breath. He decided to surprise them so he slowly floated up the stairs and landed nice and easy in front of the closed door. He raised his right hand for a knock.

Knock Knock Knock

“Hey Jonathan can you get that while I finish off these dishes.”she said almost as if she didn’t have a care in the world.

As Clark heard someone approach the door he cringed in fear and happiness to how there reactions might be to see him. The door seemed like it was opening in super slow mode. When the door finally open he saw a slightly shorter man right in front of him in complete shock.
“Hi, dad ”he said nervously,” can I come in”

“Martha Clark’s home ”Jonathan said with his excitement rising every second he kept looking at him.
“Clark, Clark oh I’ve missed you so much(as she embracing him and he embraced back)”she said in happiness.

“Hi, mom” he said ,”I came to visit you for a little while.”

“What do you mean visit us, Clark?” she said almost crying her eyes out in disbelief.

“Well...you see I cant stay long I have to go back and get ready for school.”

“Your not leaving your going school here.” she said while embracing him as tight as she could.

“Mom, Dad we need to talk.”he hesitated as they all walked into the living room and sat down on the couch.

“I’m only here to tell you that im ok and that am go to start school some were, but I cant tell you that quiet yet, I will tell you as soon as I knew all the details of my predicament.” he said looking them both square in the eyes not even hesitating.

“What kind of predicament are you in son were your parents we can help.” Jonathan said with a worried look on his face.

“Well thanks for the offer but you cant help because I have excepted my destiny and I am fulfilling it by myself for know...but when the time is right I will tell you everything...ok.”he said look at each of them one by one.

“Clark you cant except you destiny you cant rule the world its not right and you’re my son not Jor-El’s.”she yelled as she started to cry once more.

“Mom, Dad my destiny is to save the planet and protect it from great evils not rule over them with brute force.”he continued ” I am to save the planet from a destruction by it’s occupants.” they looked at him in shock they’d never seen there son so confident and mature.

“Son it’s ok that your not going to live with us. Just remember that we are here for you when ever you need us.” Jonathan said with joy in his heart.

“Son why are you living on your own?”she muttered with her head down staring at the ground.

“Mom im doing this because I don’t want any one who become my enemy to ever get a hand on my family.”

“Well as much as I disagree with what you want to do im proud of you, just remember that.” she said with a big smile on her face.
After a family reunion Clark was ready to go but his mom was sad to see him leaving so soon. He just go here a few hours ago. She knew he had to go it was his destiny.

“Mom don’t worry with in maybe a few days you will know were I am it will be all over the news I wont let anything bad happen.” he said as he looked at his loving parents and said his good byes.

“Wait Clark are you going to go see Lana?” she asked him with concern in her voice.” she’s been missing you like crazy she need you know more then ever.”

“She’s the one person I don’t want to endanger the most. So I might but not right know, and im not sure when. Just to be on the safe side every once in a while I’ll come and visit you guys but just write letters and leave them in the mail box and I will put mine there to....ok.” he said with a sad smile.

“Ok son but think about going to see her she really does care about you a lot. Just think about it ok” his mom said in a low pitch voice.

“Well ok bye I’ll see you two later watch the news and you might catch a glimpse of the ‘Man of Steal’.” he said with a big Kent smile.


He looked at them one more time before taking off in the night sky like a plane. They both looked at each other in shock, then laughed. He had grown so much and learned so much it was amazing to them just to see how their boy has changed. He really would save the world in so many ways in the future, but they really didn’t know from what?

Clark was on his way back to Metropolis when he stopped in mid-air to look down on something? She looked so beautiful even from a far. What was it that made her look so good and desirable to him? He landed about thirty feet from her so she couldn’t see him. He gazed at her for a while pondering if he should go see her or not?

A girl was sitting on her friends porch looking at the stars when she thought she saw a person fly right past the moon. What was that? My mind must be playing tricks on me. Look know I’m going crazy from missing you. Why don’t you just come back everyone misses you so much. I miss you.......I love you Clark Kent....come back to me.

There was a sound a distance away from her and she jumped from being startled.

“Who’s over there.....come out and show yourself.” she yelled hesitantly hoping she was only dreaming someone was there.

Clark started backing up when he heard her ask who was there. I got to leave I cant let her see me.

“I’ll keep an eye on you from a far Lana Lang the love of my life.” he mumbled quietly not think anyone could hear him.

“Clark is that you? Clark don’t leave stay with me..... CLARK.” she was completely in shock from what she barely heard.

I'll just be blunt... It's good so far, but I wish Clark would grow some brain cells! It'd be a shame if we saw posts of angsty "will they or won't they get together" stuff because he didn't stay long enough for them to talk.

All the same, do as you want with it--after all, it's your story. As long as it's involving, I won't complain.

A New Friend

What how does she know its me? I got to get out of here cause I cant stay I have to save people. I’ll miss you but I’ll save you too. He took off into the sky not letting her see him. She ran to were she heard the sound only to realize no one was there. She looked around to see if there was anything there he might have dropped, only to be disappointed there wasn’t.

“Lana did you see Clark.....did you?” Chloe asked nervously waiting for a yes, but it never came to her.

“Chloe...I...I thought I saw him but he wasn’t here. Maybe its just my head playing tricks on me.” she walked very slow with her head looking down with tears rolling down slowly, as she walked into the house to get some shut eye.

Chloe was alone outside thinking about her best friend and what he was thinking leaving like this. Clark how could you do this to us? How could you do this to her she loves you. I thought you loved her too but I guess I was wrong to think that. Your just a mystery to everyone, why do you do these things to us and yourself. If you just let Lana in so she wasn’t so depressed it would be better. She took one last look at the bright beautiful stars in the night sky and walked back into the house to go to sleep.

“How could I do that I should have stayed to see her but like always I chickened out. I’m such a pussy... I hate myself for making her so sad.” he slowly got to his apartment and walked in to get dressed for a little night heroism so he could get his mind off of his love.

a few weeks had passed and it was know time for Clark to start his first day of school. He walked in with his head held high like he was the king of the world or at least the savior. He was walking when all of the sudden a younger kid ran right into him accidently.

“Hey what’s the hurry”Clark asked with a very big smile on his face.

“ I’m just trying to get away from those jocks over there I just called then b****es.” he seemed very proud of himself.

Clark started to laugh at the comment the young man told him.” So how about I help you and you help me out? What do you think.” he said with a little grin on.

“Ok.” the young man said.
“First off my names Clark....Clark Kent.” he said as he put his hand out for the young man to shake.

“Oh hey Clark. The names Bart, but you can call me Flash.” he said with a devilish grin.
“Hey know that we are acquainted Bart let me get those Jocks off of you.” he said laughing. He quickly walked over to the few football players to confront them about them wanting to beat up Bart.

“Hey fella’s so I hear you want to beat that kid up?” he asked questionable, but knowing the answer.

“Yeah he thinks he can take us all.” the guy said with anger in his voice. “So how bout you get out the way so I can take care of that little prick. Or if you want we can take you out first then move to the little one?”

Clark laughed at the guy when he made the comment.” So you wanna take me on? You have a better chance of winning if you have all you buddy’s help you.”

At that the football player swung his fist right at Clark’s face. But as that happened Clark caught it and barely tapped him in the stomach. Once his fist touched the guy he hit the floor in pain. It was like getting hit with a brick fist. Clark let him drop and looked at the rest of the football players who immediately backed up after picking up there fallen quarterback.

“Wow Clark that was amazing.” Bart was like a little boy in a candy shop he was jumping up and down like crazy. There was a tap on Clark’s shoulder. When he turned around he knew he was in for it, big time. He slowly put his head down and shook it from side to side with disappointment.

“Mr. Kent... right?” the principal said with a grin of pleasure on.

“Yeah that’s me.”

“Can you come with me so we can talk about what just happened.” he said as he slowly turned around and walked to his office.

“Hey Clark sorry bout that, but I’ll save you a place a lunch.” Bart said a little sad that he got his new friend in trouble.

They walked towards the office as Clark pulled his head up a few girls were laughing and one walked up to him and slowly passed him a paper so the principal didn’t see it. He slowly opened it and read it to himself. Hey your new right. Well my names Cindy and I thought what you did to that prick quarterback was Hot so we should hang out. Here’s my number 546-512-7891 call me later so we can get to know each other. A big smile came on his face as he got to the door. As the door slowly open a young bald man walked out and waited for the young trouble maker to look up from his happy daydream.

“Hey Clark good to see you again.” Lex said as Clark walked up to the door.

“Lex...wow man its good to see you.” he said as he embraced his good buddy.

“I should say the same thing... um Mr. Johnson can I take Clark off your hands for a little while.” he asked knowing he wouldn’t say no.

“yeah Mr. Luther just don’t leave with him I need to have a long talk with him.”he said a little scared.

Lex and Clark sat down and talked for a few minutes about were he’s been. All Clark would say is that he need to leave he hurt everyone to much already. Lex kept trying to convince him that it was time to return back to his home. But Clark wasn’t ready to go back just yet. Lex excepted what his buddy wanted to do. Then he got up and said his good-byes but as he left, Clark asked him to not say anything about this to his friends and family. Lex agreed to that and left a little sad that his friend was hiding from his friends and family.

Clark slowly entered the principals office a little worried about what would happen but once he was there all the principal said was don’t let it happen again. Clark went threw the morning class very happy cause here and there he’d get a bunch of chicks numbers and they all thought he was hot. He smiled and he sat next to Bart at lunch.

“Hey Clark what are you so happy about. I know it cant be that you got in to trouble.” he said with a little laugh.

“No.....um.....its just been a good day though.” he answered. Noticing all the girls looking at him.

“So how bout we go hang out today after school. So we can cause mischief and I can show you why they call me the Flash.”Bart laughed devilish when he finish saying that.

“Yeah. You know what lets do that I need to get out more and have some fun.” he stated.

After school had ended they both walked over to Clark’s place so he could drop off his stuff real quick. When Bart walked in he was stunned at how big and nice this place was for a Junior in High School. Clark brushed off the accusation like nothing. Then they were off and Bart was so jumpy to tell his little secret to someone so he could show off.

Two Secrets


“He Clark watch this I wanna show you something...ok?” he turned around and took off running as fast as he could. Clark was a little shocked that he could run as fast a he could maybe even faster. As Bart came back he handed Clark a hotdog and chuckled at his face.

“Bart that was awesome.” he said thinking maybe I should let him in on a little secret of mine as well cause he trusts me so much. He does seem like a good kid maybe me and him and be partners and save peoples lives.

“Hey check this out.” Clark said as he made Bart follow him to an alley. As they walked into the alley he lifted up a broken down car right off the ground with a big smile on his face. Bart almost fainted at the site.

“Clark that’s freakin amazing your powers are so much better then mine.” he said with smile on.
“I have a lot more gifts....but I want to know if you have heard about that guy who’s saving people all day long. In a black suit and mask?” he asked with a little hope that he has.

“Yeah he sounds like a very powerful guy and he’s saved me once.” he said looking at Clark like what’s this have to do with you. Clark thought for a while and remembered Bart being strapped to a table with some guy trying to dissect him.

“Well Bart that guy is me.” he said waiting for a laugh to burst out of him but in never came.

“Really you’re the guy that saves people and no one knows who he is.” he said excited.” man that’s bad you should let me be your sidekick, I’ve always wanted to help people but never wanted to do myself.”

“Really that would be great. I need some help here and there with some robbers and hostage case’s.” Clark said even more excited then Bart was.

Just then Bart said,” Hey let me go show you my costume that I’ve been working on. Be right back.”

“Okay go get it.”and before Clark could finish what he was saying he was gone and in a few minutes he was back with this really cool costume. It was a smaller version of The Flash original Costume. Clark looked at it with eyes wide open is shock that his costume was so cool.

“Man I wish my costume was cool like that.” he said in envy.

“Hey Clark your black suit is bad so is that S think you have on you chest.”

While they were arguing over who’s costume was better Clark heard a scream. He realized it was a bank robbery. He quickly told Flash and then they were off to save the day. When they reached the spot Clark was in costume and so was Bart they waited at a distance only waiting for the right time to strike and take them down.

“Ready Flash, lets take them down and do it fast if you know what I mean?” he said with a small grin of excitement.

“I was born ready Superman. I like the sound of that. Don’t you Clark.” he asked in curiosity.

“It sounds like a perfect name for the ‘Man of Steal.’” He said with a quick laugh. “Lets do it know.” Then within a few seconds they were inside the building, guys were flying and get the guns snatched right out of there hands in no time at all.

“What just happened where’s my gun and why’s everyone on the floor?” one of the robbers said as he looked around. Then he saw the one thing he didn’t expect two guys standing behind him with a stack of crushed guns by them. He was shocked then he hit the floor scared for his life, he was so scared that he was going to die. Superman walked up to him and picked him and the other two guys off the ground and took them out followed by Flash and all the hostages.
“Look there coming out.” said a news reporter. As she ran to get a statement from the two masked heros and the hostages.

“Who are you two?” a lady asked from the crowd around them.

“Well you can call me Superman and by buddy here’s Flash.” he said with a big smile on his masked face. As everyone took notes and pictures of them.

“What happened in there and how did you get in without no one knowing?”

“Well this going to sound crazy but we ran in, like this.” they said as they ran behind the whole crowd.

“Were over hear behind you.” they both said with a smile as the stunned people looked behind them. The two laughed then continued the interview by the group.

One of the hostages walked up and said.”These two saved us from those robbers and I’d like to be the first one to say thank you very much. You two are real heros.” they looked at each other with a look of satisfaction. Bart knew he wanted to help Clark from know on this was amazing. The feeling felt so good he couldn’t help but smile so big his mask almost ripped right off.

“Thanks but all we do is help out. That what were here for but we gotta go so we see you all later.” he said turning to Flash and saying.” Hey I’ll meet you at my place ok.”

“Yeah Superman see you there in a Flash.” he laughed as he said it as well as the crowd. The crowd watch Flash disappear in a instant. Then they all looked at Superman as he shook his head and laughed. Then he took off in to the sky like a bullet, stunning everyone in the crowd that he could fly to.

“What else can they do I wonder?” a crowd member said in shock just like everyone else. As the camera kept its eye on the man in the sky.

Smallville

“Hey Martha come look at what’s on the TV, hurry.” Jonathan said excited to see what he was seeing.
“Yeah what is it?” She said as she looked at the screen the noticed it was her son saving twenty-five hostages from a bank robbery like it was nothing. She saw the smile on his face as he walked out of the building with three guys over his shoulders. She was so happy that he was helping people like he was destined to do.

“He looks so happy saving people doesn’t he Jonathan.”

“Yeah, Martha I think he enjoys his destiny a lot more know.”
Lana had also see the news and she couldn’t put her finger on it but there was something about that Superman that she recognized. Is it his smile or the voice. I don’t know what is it, but he reminds me of someone but who? Man he looks kinda cute with that suit on. I miss Clark so much I can’t stop to think about this mysterious super hero. She shook it off and continued clean the house like nothing had happened.

“Clark man that was amazing I cant believe we just saved all those peoples lives like nothing.” Bart said happily. Waiting for Clark’s response. Clark smiled with excitement as well.

“That was great I know what you mean I’ve been doing this for a few weeks but nothing this big yet. That was a rush and it felt good to help all those people.” They finally sat down and chilled for a while. While Bart who was curios asked what else Clark could do. Clark gladly told him everything with a smile on. He was happy he could tell someone else about his gifts and not get thought of as a freak.

After a few hours Bart said he had to go to his place to sleep. Bart was up and gone in a few seconds to his house. While Clark sat down and fell a sleep with out a care in the world. He slept so peacefully that night. Waking up to the rays of the sun getting threw the windows. He got up and thought to himself another day of school.

Weeks went by then months. Clark and Bart had saved thousands of people and made a few people upset with them, but they didn’t care about those people. They only wanted to put them away for good so the streets were safe for all the people of Metropolis. Clark’s Junior year was almost over and he still hadn’t got the courage to go see the love of his life Lana Lang. He knew he was doing this to protect her but it was hurting him so much he needed to see her soon but he wasn’t sure when. What would I say oh sorry but I excepted my alien destiny to save the world so to protect you I left to Metropolis and became Superman. She’ll think im a idiot I can’t say that.

One day he decided he would go talk to his parents about this. He left and was in Smallville in a few minutes standing in front of the house he grew up in. What am I going to do tell them I’m scared to see Lana because I think she’ll hate me for leaving. He knocked on the door and his mom answered the door with a big smile on.

“Hi Clark long time no see.” she said with a laugh.

“Yeah mom sorry I’ve been a little busy with school and saving lives.”
“It good to see you. I’ve been watching you stop all those bank robbers and car chases and everything you look so happy doing it.” she said with pride.

“Yeah I am it feels so right to do this and I really am making a difference in peoples lives.” he looked at his mother then sat down and talked to her about what he came to talk about. She listened carefully and noted everything he was saying. She realized he was talking about Lana and a frown came over her face.
“Clark..... Lana she......left yesterday to Paris she was so sad and depressed that you left and never showed back up she had to leave.” Clark was shocked and started tearing up cause he was to late she was gone and he had missed his chance with the girl of his dreams. What was he going to do without her?

Chapter 6

Paris

A beautiful young petite girl who could stop any man and get his attention with just a sway of her hips was in her house looking in a mirror at her long brown hair and gorgeous hazel eyes that could capture any ones attention. She felt so good to be her. Her life was great know. Lana was happy with her new life in Paris. She had been there for a few days and she had already met a nice guy named Jason who she thought she could have a real relationship with. No secret or lies or running away from a relationship. She had never been so happy, but there was something missing and she knew it was her man of mystery Clark Kent. She hated herself for not getting over him. He left you so get over him he’s over you or he wouldn’t have left you and the rest of his family. What if he’s still loves me but he’s being held against his will or maybe he’s dead. She started to cry lightly at the thought and quickly realizing as she gained her composer and cleaned her face. She was going to get over him no matter what. He left her and she loved him.

Clark was heart broken he took off into the night sky sad that his first and only love left and he would never have a chance again? Or would he? He flew all night then next morning he was still out flying. He had loved her but he didn’t want to get her in danger. Was that the wises decision to not tell her everything in hopes that she would except him for who he truly was. I may never know now.

Clark couldn’t handle it anymore he had to leave for a little while but were. After talking to Flash about his final decision to leave for most of the summer it was settled Flash was on his own for awhile. Clark realizing that he had to go talk to his father he went to the Fortress of solitude to have a long conversation about his destiny. When he finally reached his destination he walked into the cave and said.

“Father I have come to ask for your help?”

“Yes my son what can I do for you?”

Taking a deep breath he said “I wish to help more then just this planet because I feel I am not being pushed to my full potential.”

“Well my son I was going to summon you to ask you if you would like to help out a few different worlds with a great danger during your free time.” he stopped for a second and continued.”the danger alone will be hard for you to take on head on so you have all the time you need to stop Klax-Ar and his clan of evil Kryptonians.”

“Father I will do this and I will be back before summers end with a victory.” he took a deep breath” I will free the Universe of the evil in record time I promise you that.

“Kal-El you may want to think about transporting your memories into this disc?” he said as a silver pendent appeared in front of Clark.”this way you do not feel depressed when you fight.”

“Father I will do that under one condition?”he looked at him with trust.

“Yes my son I know you want me to promise you that when your mission is complete you will get your memories back as soon as you get back.”he finished “ My son I wouldn’t have it any other way you will get everything back including the new memories you gained from you fight.”

“In that case father I am ready to fight for the safety of the universe.” he said as he put his hand on the silver pendent. A light filled the room and he was temporally unconscious till he heard a voice.

“Kal-El are you ready to continue on you mission?” the voice called to a slightly confused individual.

“Father? Um.....I am ready to continue I will succeed with my task.” Kal-El said with a confident voice. They discussed the task at hand and they were ready to go on with the mission. Once he had everything he need he was ready to go. A portal opened in the side of the F.O.S. and Kal-El knew it was time to go to the place and destroy his mortal enemy. He walked up to the portal and with a quick step was gone with a bright white light.

Jor-El watched and as he was gone he said with hope and sadness.” Take care my son I wish you luck. Come home safely with a victory to make you stand talker then ever. I will miss you.”

A few seconds later Kal-El hit the ground of an unknown planet which all the people seemed to be slaves of a king. Kal-El took off to a castle in the center of the unknown city. As he stopped in front of the entrance he used his x-ray vision to search for a men around that might try to stop him from entering. He found quiet a few men around thirty. A evil grin came to his mouth and he was off taking advantage of the fact his victims didn’t know he was there in seconds they all hit the floor and were out cold. He smiled and walked into the building as he entered he slowly looked for someone or anyone but no one was there.

He continued to look threw the castle only realize he was correct earlier no one was there at all. What he didn’t know was they were off conquering another planet and would be gone for quiet some time. He left and started looking for a place to crash that was near the castle so he knew who was coming in and leaving. He found an abandon house and made himself comfortable. After good nap he got up and wanted to look around the planet to see what this Klax-Ar was capable of. He flew off into the sky not realizing many army men had see him in the air. He was flying and looking around when out of no where a bunch of men who seemed to be on flying on motorcycles came at him with laser guns shooting at him. He quickly noticed and took them out only to have more come.

After a few hours of this continuously happening he fled for cover not knowing how long he would be hiding he quickly landed and ran getting supplies to keep him satisfied as he watched the castle. I guess surveying the planet is out of the question sense there are to many men for me right know. I shall take out Klax-Ar then his armies will fall to the ground at there new master. He shall plead for mercy but mercy is for the weak I shall kill him slowly and painfully so as he can feel what he has done to the people of this and many other planets. He shall pay for his wrong doings by facing my wrath.

Many days went by and Kal-El sat and watched the castle during the night he would quietly take out men and generals who were needed to make the army feel like they were unbeatable. The men started noticing general and great men of the army disappearing they started to fall completely apart not knowing why. Kal-El watched and laughed at his success. he was taking them down without even really trying to.

Smallville four weeks before school is to start.

“I wonder why Clark hasn’t been on the news saving people only Flash has.” Martha said looking worried at Jonathan.

“Martha he’s fine don’t forget this is his destiny if anything was wrong Jor-El would be mad.” he looked at her and embraced her so she would feel better. A sound of a car pulling up made them jump in curiosity.

“Is that Clark, Jonathan?” Martha said with and anxious voice.

Jonathan walked over to the door and was shocked at who it was. He slowly looked at Martha as he shook his head no.

”It’s not Clark it’s......... Lana.”Lana had returned because she missed the Kent’s company. She broke up with Jason a few days ago and realize that she still had feeling for Clark and she wanted to wait for him to return if he did? She entered the house and was greeted with two smiles and hugs.

“Hi Mr. and Mrs. Kent. How are you both doing?” she said anxious to ask a certain question that had been on her mind for days know.

“Lana its good to see you again. We are both fine sitting here still waiting for Clark to come back to us.” she said know that wasn’t the right thing to say. At that point Lana felt her heart broke and almost started to cry but held it in so she didn’t seem weak.

“Um... you still haven’t seen or heard from Clark yet.” she wait for a different answer then she got. They both looked at each other when Jonathan shook his head to tell her they have heard from him but not seen him.

“Lana we heard from Clark a while ago and he told us he had to leave cause of a certain thing he needed to do.” Lana looked in shock. What was the thing he needed to do? Who long ago did they hear from him, why didn’t I know? Those thoughts kept swimming in her mind over and over again.

“When did you hear from him and how come you didn’t tell me?” she waited to a answer.

“Well Clark told us to not tell you cause he didn’t want you to think it was cause of you he left.” she stop to take a deep breath then continued. “ He doesn’t want us to tell you this but he was forced to leave and that’s all I can tell you about why he left. I just want you to know my son loves you with all his heart and needed to do this on his own.”Lana was in shock he didn’t leave cause of her. Why was he forced to leave and why couldn’t he tell her. She finally gathered her thoughts and sat down to fill the Kent’s in on her trip to Paris still baffled about what they had said.

The Battle

Kal-El had been waiting for months for his victim to arrive so he could take him out swiftly and silently. Finally one day during his afternoon run he saw a big space ship land on the castle and took off towards it knowing this was it he would take him out know. As he approached the castle he stopped and used his x-ray vision to see how many people were up there with him. After only seeing a few men and him in the middle he flew into the air determined to take him out no matter what. He landed on the rooftop quietly and walked to the men. He slowly walked not knowing that he would step on a leaf and crush it. As soon as the men heard the sound they all turned around quickly and swiftly pulled out there guns and fired at him.

Klax- Ar not caring who it was kept walking not knowing that in a few seconds all his men were on the floor. As he heard the shot cease to exist he turned around hoping to see a man on the floor with four men around him with guns but was surprised at what he saw instead.

“Kal-El..... it took you this long to come and fight me. You look just like you weak father that pathetic fool he could have ruled along side with me. We could have ruled the universe together.”

“Klax-Ar it’s time for you to face the consequences of your actions. You shall fall at my feet.” with that said Klax-Ar laughed an evil laugh and slowly approached his young adversary.

“You are a pathetic weak fool you cant defeat me I am stronger then you will ever be.” he spotted a grin on the face of the young one. With curiosity he asked.”what are you smiling at your about to die?”

“You don’t know do you?”

“Know what?”

“Do you recall a technology my father was working on before the planet blew up. That allowed the person who used it took acquire all their true power deep within him that no ordinary Kryptonian could match no matter what they said.” he said waiting for the answer of fear.

“Yes... but your father didn’t finish it I destroyed it.” he said look curiosly were this was going.

“Yes...you destroyed the prototype but my father lied to you knowing you would try to use it to take over the universe and instead he had the finished project and sent it with me to earth. Knowing that I would use it to stop you.”

“No...your lying...your father didn’t finish it...he..he couldn’t have.” at that point a face of fear covered him.

“He did and I have used it on me with his help and know I control all my powers and more then enough strength to stop you without even trying. What shall I do know kill you in front of your men or do it here and show them all.” he said looking for an answer from his scared foe.

“You have to fight me to even have a chance to kill me.” he said a little worried that his young adversary wasn’t lying.

“Fine then we shall fight in the air so that everyone should see your demise and death.”

“I shall be the victor.” he said as he flew up into the air awaiting his guess to follow.

“As you wish I shall follow.” they were up in the air and as they flew there all the people stopped and waited to see what was going on in the air. As they stopped in a certain spot Kal-El didn’t wait to see if he was ready he shot out and took the first shot at him hitting him in the face making him fall to the ground. As he fell into a building of solid rock he slowly got up and tried to attack his assailant with all his power only to be blocked and knocked down again. This continued to happen to Klax-Ar multiple times with him continuing to get weaker. As Kal-El watched his foe get weaker he laughed with excitement not knowing that his foe had an ace up his sleeve and was going to try and take him out know.

As Kal-El moved in on what he thought was going to be his last attack. Klax-Ar reached into his pocket grabbing a small crystal that would unlock a portal to a place called the “Phantom Zone” hoping to lock his young friend there for all eternity. Finally he threw it opening the portal right in front of the unexpected foe.

“Aw...your a pussy you weak pathetic fool. You couldn’t beat me yourself so you had to trap me in the ‘Phantom Zone’.” Kal-El was slowly sucked into the portal not even worried that he would never return to finish his mission. As Kal-El disappeared Klax-Ar laughed a evil laugh.

The Battle (Part Two)

Phantom Zone

A young man floated around in a black unknown place that would be only a pit stop for him in destroying his foe. He finally opened his eyes and realized what happened.

“That poor fool he forgot my family created the Phantom Zone and they are the only ones who can escape from here.” he laughed as he reached for a half black and clear crystal inside his pocket. He looked at it and slid his hand from the black half to the clear half. A bright red light accumulated around him and once again the Phantom Zone was missing a young man who was just sent there by an evil foe.

“You fool you thought you could defeat me with only brute strength...well I learned from you father that strength isn’t everything. I guess he didn’t teach you that.” Klax-Ar laughed as he tried to get up and from his spot on the ground. Unknowing that in a few seconds his friend would be back mad as ever. He walked towards his castle in pain when a red light flashed from behind him.

“My fathers taught me more then you know you stupid fool.” shocked at the persons voice he turned and saw Kal-El approaching him quickly. He turned around and started to run as fast as he can. SWAT A man hit the ground out for the count. Kal-El reached inside Klax-Ar pocket collecting a crystal to send him to the Phantom Zone.

“You fool this is what’s really supposed to happen. I come out on top better then you and all the people you have hurt get there freedom back.”he said as he threw Klax-Ar into the Phantom Zone. He flew up into the air as all the people stopped and dropped to there knees to honor there savior.

“You are all free. If anyone disagrees with my command let them step forward so they can feel the wrath of there disagreement.” all the soldiers fell to there knees to honor the new ruler. “Who was the ruler before Klax-Ar enslaved you. Also was he a good ruler?” he asked awaiting a answer. A brave young boy stood up and said.

“My father was that ruler and he is imprisoned in the Phantom Zone. He was the greatest ruler of them all and all the people loved him.” the young boy said with a tear coming from his eye. Kal-El approached him slowly not intending to hurt him at all.

“What is your fathers name young man and how long ago was he imprisoned?”

“He’s name his Zeus and he was imprisoned 13 years ago.” reaching into his pocked Kal-El pulled out the black and clear crystal. Sliding his hand from the black to the clear as he said.
“Zeus I free you from your prison to return to your loved ones.” with a bright red light a man who hadn’t been seen in 13 years was back shocked he was freed.

“Zeus you were freed because I have stopped the reign of Klax-Ar and I wish you to rule over your people once more.” he stopped and flew up to finish what he had to say.” you will contact me if there is any trouble from anyone and I shall take care of them brutally to show them I am the one to fear always.” he slowly landed and looked at a happy new friend.

“Thank you my friend for helping us get free from Klax-Ar’s grip.” they shook hands.

“I know we just met but I have to return to my home but take this crystal and use it to contact me if you need help.” he said as he handed him a yellow crystal. They said there good byes to there savior as he disappeared in a bright white light.

“My son you have returned. Did you complete you mission with success?” A voice asked with joy in his tone.

“Yes father my mission was a success and it was thanks to your technology.” a silver pendent appeared in front of him and he looked confused as it did.

“My son touch the silver disc.” Kal-El did not question his father. He reached for it and with a flash of light Clark was there and remembered everything.”My son I am glad you are safely back and have all you memories.” Clark looked at him in aw. He kept his side of the deal. Wow I cant believe it. I remember everything even the fight.

“Father thank you for giving me my memories back.”

“My son it is time for you to return home and continue you mission.” he said as a portal home opened up. “My son just remember that the Blue Kryptonite still has some problems so the power will fade away so you will not be as strong as you just were. Remember that my son for who knows what’s out there awaiting a chance to take you on.”

“Thank you Father for that last bit of information I will be careful. Thank you again I missed you very much.” he looked at the portal then back at his father.” I must go see my loved ones and tell them of my journey. Thank you father.” he walked in to the portal and was inside of the caves in a second. Clark rushed to his house not worried at all on who was there

Returning Home


As he entered the house he yelled “Mom, Dad im home.” looking in the living room he saw her the girl of his dreams sitting on the couch in shock at who she was looking at.

“Clark.....Clark.” Lana said as she rushed over to him and embraced him tightly. Clark thoughts drifted off. What was I thinking leaving her behind. Oh I’ve missed her so much. Wait, what if she doesn’t love me anymore just missed me.

“Lana I didn’t know you were here.” she lifted her head to look him in the eyes.

“If you did know I was here would you still have come in the way you did.” she looked at him waiting for the answer she feared.

He took a deep breath and said.” Lana I’ve missed you every minute I’ve never stopped loving you, but I couldn’t allow you to get hurt because of my destiny.” she looked at him in shock and baffled about what his destiny was.

“Your destiny? What destiny?” she said waiting for a lie to slip out of his mouth.

Come on Clark know or never you have to tell her or you’ll lose her once again.

“Meet me in the loft in a few minutes and I’ll tell you everything.” he slowly kissed her and walked to his parents. She was shocked but she did what he said.

“Mom, Dad I’ve missed you so much.” he embraced both of them.

“Where have you been son.” Jonathan asked.

“I cant tell you right know but I will after I tell Lana everything. I know I shouldn’t but I truly love her and I want her to know me for who I really am.” he said awaiting his dad to yell at him but he didn’t he understood and told him to go tell her. He walked out the house and to the loft thinking of the words to say to her. He walked up the stairs to a beautiful girl staring at him with curiosity in her eyes.

This is it the truth comes out.

“Lana you may want to sit down for what I am about to tell to you.”she looked at him and sat down.

“Ok you may not like me or even want to look at me after what I have to say to you.”

“Clark nothing you say with make me hate you I’ve loved ever sense we were little.” she looked at him with love.

“Ok.... where do I start.”

“Well the beginning sounds like a good place.” she said as she looked at him with a small grin.

“I guess you right.” he said with a laugh. I haven’t really smiled or felt good in a long time and just a few words from her and I feel all fuzzy inside.

“Ok do you remember the meteor show?”

“Yeah what’s this have to do with anything.”

“Well I came here during the shower.” he waited for her to say something but she didn’t so he continued.” Well I came in a space ship from a planet called Krypton.” Lana looked at him with wide eyes then she looked down with a few tears rolling down her face.

“I didn’t mean to kill you parents, I’m sorry. I really hate myself for coming and taking them away from you. You can leave if you would like and I would completely understand.” she looked at him then spoke.

“I miss my parents very much but you couldn’t have killed them you were just a baby. You had no control over what happened. I’m sorry if I made you think it was your fault.” she turned his head and kissed his lips. After a few minutes of a very passionate kiss he pulled away.

“Uh....Thanks. Do you want me to continue with my story.”

“Yes continue please.”she sat back down to listen to what he had to say.

“Well along with coming here I gained a few abilities.” he took a deep breath.

Lana interrupted and said,” what kinda of abilities?”

“Well I have about eight altogether.” waiting for a response but not getting one he continued.

”I’ll tell you them as I got them. Well my first one was super strength I got that one when I was just a baby. Second I got super speed it came to me when I was about seven or so.” he looked away and then continued.” as I grew and matured I gained a few new ones in high school like x-ray vision are freshmen year. Then heat vision are sophomore year. Those two I remember the most because you were involved with both of them.” he said turning with a big grin on.

“How could they involve me?” she said looking at him in confusion.

“Well when I got my x-ray vision we were in p.e. class and the girls just got in to the locker room and the guys were on the rope. Me and Pete had been chosen to climb so as I was about to reach the top when it happened? I got this really bad headache and when I opened my eyes I was looking at Pete’s muscles in his body and it spooked me and I fell off the rope and hit the floor. When I looked up it was still on and I was looking at the wall to the girls locker room and I saw you getting out of the shower with a towel on and couldn’t stop smiling all day long.” he looked at her with a grin of pleasure.

“What you saw me in a towel...Clark.” she said playfully hitting him on the arm.”So what you think your big and bad know seeing me in a towel.”

“Well I think I’m big and bad when I saw you trop the towel and look in my direction with all that is your glory.” he said as she put her head down in shock at what she just heard.”Well if it makes you feel better I haven’t looked sense then but I hope to see you like that and more in the future.” he smiled at her.

“Well maybe you will.” she said will a little sexy grin on.

“Ok the other time was when I got my heat vision we were at the talon and we were talking about something but all I was thinking about was you and how good you looked in that dress. And all of the sudden it happened I started th talon on fire.” he laughed as he said it.

“So... that little fire was from you I’m guessing your power is connected to you hormones. Cause it sounds like to me you got turned on by me and suddenly everything was on fire. Right.” she looked at him while he had his head down in embarrassment.

“Yeah I guess that’s how it works but after a while of staying clear of you until I got it under control.” he looked at her with a big smile.

“Well maybe I can still make you burn down then place.” she said as she walked close and kissed him as they kissed it got even more passionate. In a few minutes they were on the couch and still hadn’t taken there lips apart. Lana reached for his shirt and started to unbutton his shirt but Clark pulled away and asked.

“Maybe we should let me finish or well be in here forever and you wont know the rest on my abilities.” he smiled at her while he got off.

“Ok..but you owe me that later.” he was surprised at what she said and he wanted to keep that promise for sure.

“Ok well I have four more. Well I got super hearing when I was in Metropolis I kinda went blind and to compensate for the lose of that sense I gained super hearing. There is only one that I don’t know how long I have had it but it invonerability to everything. I’ve taken many bullets and stopped fires and things like that with my bare hands.” she looked at him in shock and was about to say something when Clark interrupted. “Let me finish then you can ask questions ok. Well there is only one thing that can hurt me and that the green meteors. With long time exposure to it I can die.”

“Oh my god......my neckless....I was killing you. Why didn’t you tell me that.” he looked at her and smiled.
“You looked so beautiful with it on and it was the only thing you had of you parents. I sucked it up and took the pain as much as I could.”she smiled at him.

“Well I’ll make it up to you.” she kissed him very passionately for about fifteen minutes then she sat back down knowing he wanted more.

“Hey I got and idea why don’t we go get a few meteor rocks and you can hurt me a little bit.” he said grinning widely.

“No...how bout you wait till later.” she hit him as she said that.

“Ok...well I just recently got two new powers when I first left to Metropolis. Oh yeah...um...there is a red meteor rock that can effect my inhibition and make me feel free of fear and consequences. That’s what I was on when I left for Metropolis in the beginning. Lets first finish this before we go to that. Well I also gained ice breath and the ability to fly while I payed a visit to my biological Father.”she looked in shock at what she just heard.

“Wait you talked to you father?”

“Yeah...at first it was cause I had no chose. The reason I left was he said it was time to fulfill my destiny and I didn’t want to cause we had just go together. I denied him and he told me that everyone I loved would suffer so I blew up my space ship and in doing so the explosion caused my parents to flip there truck and my mom to loose her unborn baby.” he looked down and a tear fell down his cheek. “I wasn’t going to let you get hurt for my stupid mistake.”he looked at her with love in his eyes.

“Clark.....you hurt me cause you left me and didn’t tell me why. I thought you didn’t love me anymore or maybe you found someone else.”

“Lana, I could never love anyone else but you. I will always love you no matter what, with all my heart and soul.” she pulled him slowly into a long and passionate kiss.



“So what about your father.”

“Well I went that summer as Kal trying to hide who I was. Then I finally look the ring off and I realized that I had nothing holding be back from fulfilling my destiny so I had a dream of what to do and where to go. I went to the North Pole and made a place I call the Fortress Of Solitude and there I learned those new powers and how to control the rest. Being proud that I came on my own will my father gave me a crystal that unlocked my inner true power. Which I was glad I received because I was going to need it in the near future for a big world saving battle. But unfortunately my the inner power I gained I only had for a short time cause the technology had a little problem so the power will fade within time but I can get it back later if I want to. That is what I returned from today when I busted threw the door.” Clark waited for a response from that last statement he said.
“What do you mean a world saving battle?” confused as she said this.

“Well I went to a planet in another galaxy far from here after I heard you went to Paris only because I thought I had lost you forever. So I saw no point in staying here over the summer.”

“What how did you know I left for Paris?”

“Well I talked to my parents not to long after you left to Paris. I wanted to see what they thought about me telling you everything, but they told me you had left. I was depressed so I thought why not save people from the one of the greatest evil in the whole universe because at least many other people would be happy.”

“You were willing to give up you life cause you thought you had nothing to leave for.”

“Yeah you are what makes me get up in the morning. You don’t know how many times I ran to Smallville just to get a quick look at your beautiful face for just for a few seconds. Its what I did ever morning as you got into you car to go to school” he said trying to hope she didn’t think he was stocking her.

“That was you I always thought someone was looking at me every morning.”she looked at him with a smile on.” you must have also been my guardian angel too?”

“Yeah I did stop all the meteor freaks when ever they tried to hurt you that was me. Even though you didn’t see me I always made sure you were ok. Then I would take you to the hospital if you needed it or I just take you home.” Then they finished the conversation of everything about him. She took it all very well and was proud that her boyfriend saved a planet and the universe from a great evil. As Clark noticed that it was about three in the morning he thought it be best if he accompanied her home then he would run back. As they got into her SUV all Clark and Lana could think about was how happy they were that they had each other again. Lana had wondered does Clark still have to save other planets cause I don’t think I would want him to leave me for a long time anymore ever again. Well Clark saw the worried look on her face and asked.

“What’s wrong Lana?” he looked at her waiting for an answer.

“Well I was wondering do you have to leave to save other planets again. Because I don’t want to lose you ever again.” she said with a tear running down her face. He slowly wiped it away with his finger.

“Lana I don’t have to leave unless I want to but I’m pretty sure nothing else out there is to much for me to handle.” he said with a big smile and said “I’m the s**t and I know it”. She lightly slapped his arm.

“You have a big head know maybe someone should beat you up good.”

“Well I hope that someone is you.” he looked at her with a big smile. They finally reached her apartment and Clark helped her up to it. When he got a good bye kiss he zipped on home and went to bed.

im not sure how long the next post will be but ill post as soon as i can.

The Dream

“Jor-El what’s going on? Is he here is the monster here?”

“My son I don’t know but you have to stop it if he is. You have to stop him know so it doesn’t kill everyone on this planet. Because they can not stop it. You are the only one that is capable of doing that. You must be willing to let go of everything you have and except your fate. You will give up your life to save the ones you love or else everyone and all the knowledge of the Kryptonians and the chance at this planet being great will die with them.”

“I know father and your right it was my choices that brought this on the planet and it is I who shall stop him.”

“My son you may not live but I will pray for you.” Clark looked at him and then he took a deep breath.

“Father I am ready. I will not be selfish. I will do all I can to stop it even if I must give up my life to do so.”

Clark woke up in a cold sweat and didn’t sleep the rest of the night. The dream was to much he didn’t know what was going on. The next morning he did ALL the chores and told his parents he had to go see someone about a very important issue. But before he left he asked his mom if she could make him something. It was the real Superman costume we all know. After asking her he zipped to the caves then was in the North Pole.

“Father what is this dream I am having?”

“Kal-El I am not sure but you must be willing to do as it says cause your dreams will come true. Kryptonian dreams are glimpse into the future. You will make that chose but I am unsure when it will come.” for the next few days Clark spent them with Lana and his parents unsure if he would go back to Metropolis or stay with Lana. He had pondered the idea of asking Lana to move with him to Metropolis because he was needed more there then here but he wanted her to be with him. Finally three days before school was to start up he and Lana were taking a walk around the farm. He thought I should ask her know.

“Lana........ what would you say if I wanted you to move to Metropolis with me.” he felt his heart stop in fear that she would tell him she didn’t want to.

“What? I thought you were going to stay here with me and your family?”

“Well.....we both know my destiny is to save people and there really isn’t any crime here so I have to go back to Metropolis were I can do more to help.”

“Well I never thought of it like that.....can I think about it for a little while maybe till tomorrow.” she looked at him kind of sad that he still wanted to leave.

“Lana if you want to think about it then be my guest I can wait for your answer another day.” he said as he gazed into her hazel eyes. The rest of the day was spent with them all alone. Later on that night just a little while after Clark fell a sleep he had the dream again and it was even more intense then ever.

A man was flying giving his last bit of energy to stop the monster as he hit the beast with everything he had left the beast hit the floor dead. He fell to the floor in pain a women ran up to him and put his head on her knees telling him he would be ok.

“Lana I want you too know im not leaving. I will be here with you forever. I love you.”and with that being said Superman’s hand went limb and hits the floor. Superman was dead.

Many of the applauding on lookers saw him on the ground with Lana next to him. A doctor had came to see if he was ok. The on lookers slowly approached him after a doctor examined his condition it was too late the young hero was gone. The crowd was shocked and at the same time sad that the hero they known for such a little time was gone forever. He had given up his life for them and they couldn’t even thank him for his great deed. They would all miss him dearly.

The Answer


Clark woke up and he knew there was no way out he knew he would sacrifice himself for the safety of others. He knew he couldn’t tell Lana about this so as she wouldn’t worry. He still desperately wanted her to move with him to Metropolis. He finally came to the conclusion he wouldn’t tell anyone about these dreams he had been having. The next day he woke up and walked slowly down stairs and ate breakfast. As he was putting his plate in the sink when there was a knock on the door and a beautiful, brown haired, hazel eyed girl was standing there with a big smile on.

“Hey Clark come with me for a walk I want to talk to you about something.” At that point Clark knew what it was. He hoped the smile on her face meant she was going with him. As they walked for a little while hand-in-hand she finally looked at him then spoke.

“Clark I would love to go with you and live in Metropolis.” she said with a really huge smile from side to side of her face. Clark looked in shock but was really happy she excepted his offer.

“That’s great Lana I’m glad you said yes. So when do you want to leave so you can settle in my apartment?”

“Well I’m actually ready right know. Do you think you have enough room for me to stay with you. If not I can always find my own place.” she said hoping he did have room.

“I have more then enough room in my place. It’s kind of big and well I would love the company.” he said kissing her.

“Well in that case I’m ready when you are.”

“That’s great let me say good bye to parents and see if my moms done making the costume I asked her to make and we can go. Oh Lana....um....I have a friend your going to see around a lot once we get there. Ok.”

“Oh......really do you mean Flash is that the friend?”she laughed as she said that.

“Yeah but he doesn’t need to know you know that yet ok. I’ll be right back.”as he left he gave her a quick peck. He told his parents that Lana was going to move with him to Metropolis and that they were leaving right know so they could get settled in and get her registered for school. After that they all said there good-byes and Clark got his suit they were off to the big city. As Lana finally pulled up to Clark’s place she was wondering how big it really was. They entered the place with Clark holding all the luggage and Lana opening the door with the key. She walked in and almost falling because it was much bigger then she had ever imagined. She quickly looked around before asking the obvious question of how could he afford it. He told her he had a lot of money from a few jobs he had done that he wasn’t proud of. He only used it for the essentials and no more.

After finally getting her settled they were off to make a copy of the key and get her registered for school. Unknown to Lana, that Clark had also put her name of his bank account so as she could access the many of his accounts. As they were walking in the mall so she could buy everything she needed for the place he stopped her and looked into her eyes and said.

“Lana.....here take this credit card and when ever you need something don’t hesitate to buy it. It will come directly out of my account and you won’t have to worry about it. Don’t worry about the price of the object I’m sure I can afford it with the money in all five of my accounts.” she looked at him like ’how much money are we talking about’ with that he finished.” Well....Lana we’re talking some were around a few hundreds of millions in every account.” she was shocked at what she had heard. Her boyfriend was a million heir and he earned it all in less then a whole summer.

“Wow....that’s a lot of money. I’m a little shocked that a farmboy from Smallville ever got that much money.” she looked at him with a happy expression on.

“Well I’m not an ordinary Farmboy and we both know that. I can do much more then a bunch of people can.” he laughed at her when he said that glad he could joke like that with her finally.

“So what kind of jobs did you do to get the money?” she said as she looked deep into his blue-green eyes.

“Well I stole top secret things and other things like that. I never once killed anyone I refused to do it and if they wouldn’t agree with me I left. They always called back with a different idea and I would get paid what I told them I wanted. I really only did five big jobs because I ended up getting the ring off and didn’t put it back on from then on.”

“Well Clark Kent I’m proud of you even though you made the wrong decision in the first place you made it up by saving the universe. Well I think you need a little payment for that.” she slowly kissed him for a long time.

“So let me see, I can go shopping any time I want and don’t have to worry about the money right?”

“Yeah as long as you don’t feel like changing your taste to Million dollar dresses, you can buy anything you want when you want. I forgot that card goes straight to your own account out of my five. When you want cash just go to the bank and get it out.” she smiled at the fact she had a ton of cash for her self.

“So lets go shopping.” she said with a big smile. “Clark I just want you to know you didn’t have to do this. I could have bought everything by myself.”

“Well sense you’re my girlfriend and your living with me. I thought it would be only fair if I gave you a little bit of cash to help you out.” he said with a smile.

“A little bit that’s a bunch of cash....a little bit is like a few hundred or maybe a hundred. This is like a dream lottery.”

“Well go ahead and think of it that way if it makes you feel better. The moneys yours so do with it the way you want. I’ll worry about the rent and things like that.” he kissed her just for looking so good. ” Well lets finish your shopping and go home cause tomorrow is the day before school starts.”

“Ok well lets go.”they shopped for a few hours and got everything she wanted and a little bit more just cause she liked it. She also got some things cause she liked it on Clark. They finally reached the apartment around 8 p.m. and watched a few movies before hitting the sack. Clark was worried about falling a sleep cause he didn’t want to have another dream. When he slept he slept bad dream free.

here's a little bit more. this was a way to make Clarks life a little bit easier by letting him keep the money so hope you like it. thanks

Chapter 13


He woke up to the smell of fresh brewed coffee and breakfast. After eating a special guessed showed up to finally meet the girl of Clark’s dreams.

“Bart glad you could come over today. Sorry I didn’t call you yesterday but I got caught up with a little bit of shopping and then well I was a little tired.”

“That’s ok im just glad your back. So when are we going on a day scout around the city?” he said in almost a whisper so Lana couldn’t hear.

“Hey don’t worry about that she knows everything.” he waited for him to ask a certain question he knew would come up.

“Tell me you didn’t tell her about me?”

“No she only knows about me. I could tell her if you wouldn’t mind?”

“Well if she knows about you then I guess I can trust her with my secret but not right know lets go on duty.” After introducing Lana to Bart Clark told her he had duty to do for a few hours. She said ok and he was off. After duty he was back home with Lana and she was glad to see him after ten minutes of face to face contact she pulled her face away to actually look at his face.

“So how was scouting duty Clark.”

“Well it was good a few muggers and a couple of bank robberies mostly calm, once everyone realized the great and powerful Superman was back with justice on his mind.” he said with a laugh and feeling really good about himself.

“Well aren’t we just the modest one.” she said sarcastically while giving him a quick kiss. After a while of sitting and relaxing they when out for dinner. When they returned they decided that they would go to bed so they were rested up for the first day of school. Lana fell a sleep quickly and peacefully while Clark on the other hand had another dream.

A young man with dark hair was sitting next to a hospital bed with a person his arms. The person was dying it was a sad moment for the young man. A few feet away Clark was watching the two people but was to far to see what was going on or even who the two people were. He watched as the two showed the love they had for each other. The person laying on the bed slowly raised there hand up to the young mans face and said.

“I Love You” and with that said the persons body went limp.

From afar Clark watched to far to hear what was said but for some reason he knew the person who died’s last words were ‘I Love You’. He felt sad for the persons loss.

Clark wakes up to his alarm clocks at 6:30 a.m.. Then he goes and gets ready while trying to be a quiet as he can to not wake Lana yet. He’s thinking I should let her get a little more sleep I’ll wake her up when I’m done. After he was done he walked out of the bathroom and got dressed. He slowly walked into Lana’s room and walked over to her bed then.

“LANA.....LANA......LANA wake up it’s morning.” as she heard him she was startled and instantly woke up.

“What? What happened?” she slowly realized that it was morning and she had to get ready for school. She got up and took a shower while Clark made breakfast. After she was dressed and had eaten they were off to the first day of school. They slowly walked in hand-and-hand with a few of the guys looking at Lana like ‘she’s hot’. The girls on the other hand were pissed that she was with Clark instead of them. Clark introduced her to a lot of the girls who weren’t b****es. Finally when class started Clark and Lana had most of there classes together. Neither of them minded cause they sat next to each other.

School was finally over and Clark had a quick thing to go find out so he told Lana to wait here for him. He walked into the football coaches office to talk to him about something?

“Hey Coach Wiley can I talk to you about joining the team?” He said with his head held high.

“Yeah Clark. Take a seat so what did you need”

“Well I was wondering if I could join the team.”

“Well what do you want to try out for?”

“Well I was thinking quarterback.”

“Really.....sure why not come to practice this afternoon and we will see what you got.”

“Great I’ll be there.” he walked out with a big smile on. As he walked over towards Lana she noticed a big smile on.

“So you going to tell me what your so happy about?” looking at him in curiosity.

“Well I’m trying out for the football team.”

“Oh really and your going to make it right?” she said with a grin on her face.

“Well we both know I’m better then everyone else. But I only can try a little bit but I know my own strength. I’ll make it and you will be dating the starting quarterback.”

“Really the starting quarterback......I’ve dated him once I ended up falling for a farmboy.” she while laughing.

“Well this quarterback is a farmboy too so you will have both all in one.” then they finally went back home and Bart came with them only because they had to go on scouting duty. After a little bit of scouting he when to practice. While warming the bench for a while he finally got his chance to show what he’s got.
