This was exactly what I was screaming! I mean if he gave it all up, why would he give it up to Lionel? Lex knows better than anyone what a monster Lionel is. Seeing as how Lex controls Luthorcorp, wouldn't he have a say in who takes over?

I had the same reaction. But I think this is Lex's worldview that we're seeing, where his father is still all-powerful. This is why I didn't see this as a true prediciton of the future, but what Lex imagines the future would be if he were to make other choices.

At first i was critizing the show but I realized this is through the perception of lex. Plus he still fears his dad.

But what I want to know is how can lex stand and walk in his hospital room the same day he had been shot and the same day he had life treatenin surgery. I mean how could he just walk around Like nothing was happened. unless it was like a week later.

... because he's a meteor freak with rapid healing abilities. And nobody (except Chloe and maybe Lionel) ever notices!
