where was Lois?

just a minor quip, but we all know it's Clark and Lois in the future, so where was she in this episode?

She could be with her family and maybe they are not working together yet. I haven't seen the episode yet, but it doesn't look like Clark is superman in it, right? So maybe, whatever pushes Clark to be Superman, will be the same thing that will make him become closer to Lois, therefore leading to them working together and eventually fall in love.

Besides, if there is no Superman, Lois will not fall for him, right? Superman would not save her life that many times he did. And quite possibly, Clark will not be living in Metropolis, working together with Lois. There is still the possibility that Lex being evil will be what pushes Lois to become a reporter. In the Comics, if I'm not mistaken, her first job in the Planet is a consequence of an expose on some LuthorCorp activities.

Anything is possible, really. Is it true that Chloe is a writer, not a reporter? What happen with her???
