This episode was really amazing. It shows the life Lex wants but will never have. We know how he turns out, and watching what his life could have been was truly amazing. It is a great episode not just in Smallville but in all aspects of the Superman mythos. It shows that if Lex did things differently how he could have ended up.
I was really impressed with MR's performance, I think much like Tom Welling in splinter this was very much his tour de force. I was really pleased with this episode.
