How Could You

this is my first fan fiction i hope u like it

It has been three years since
he's been gone, and no one knows
where he is. I miss himso dearly it's
like there is an empty space in my heart
that can't be filled and no matter how hard everyone tries they can't fill the empty space.
I've cried every day and nightsince he's been gone.

Oh yeah tomorrow is our highschool
reunion, well i wouldn't call it a reunion
when the one person you want to
see most isn't going to be there well
at least i get to see Pete.

Lana and Chloe got up at 6:30, took a shower got dressed ate breakfast and packed their bags. "Wait Chlo aren't we forgeting something" questioned Lana. "The dresses" they both screamed at the same time. So they put their bags down and went out to get the dresses. As soon as they got there Chloe saw the perfect dress she ran got it and tried it on. "Lana how do I look"asks chloe. "you look great"responded lana.Chloe looked so preety in the purple silk halter dress. Then lana grabbed her dress and ran to try it on."Chloe here i come" "lana i can't even describe how beautiful u look". Boy was chloe right who wouldn't look good in a long red silky dress with a silver diamond tiara. So they paid for the dresses ,and went up into their apartment and got their bags, car keys, and finally they called the kent's to tell them they were on there way.They rushed out to there car and were on their way.

Finally they reach the Kent's house they hurry and put there stuff away and got dressed. "Lana hurry were already late as it is"Chloe yelled."Coming now is the limo here yet"Asked Lana "yeah it just arrived lets go"chloe responded. So thye left the house and they were on there way to the reunion.

They arrive there fifteen minutes later they arrive at the reunion, they get out of the limo, and walk inside. All of a sudden the music stops and everyone starts to stare at them. No one remembers who they are. They walk down the stairs and while they were walking down they were looking for Pete, but they didn't have to he ran right up to them.

Sorry it took so long for me to update i've been really busy.
i am thankful for all yoour comments, thanks again!!!!!

Chloe tried everything to get lana's attention but she couldn't. Then finally she saw what Lana was looking at, tears started coming out of her eyes too. Chloe and Lana walked over to Clark, tapped him on the shoulder and finally they both slapped him on the face. They ran away after that as fast as they could, Clark ran after them "wait stop I can explain"yelled Clark. Pete walked up behind Clark "how could you do that to them they have cried every night, since you mysteriously disappeered" said Pete while shaking his head. Chloe and Lana ran all the way to the kent's house without stopping.

Clark went back into the highschool and told his wife that they had to go, but she said she wanted to stay and Pete would take her home. So he left.

"It's not fair I've waited for him to come back everyday of my life, and for what to see him kissing another woman" Lana said as she cried. The Kents came home ,and saw that Lana's car was parked in the driveway. She told Johnathon to go ahead in and she'll be in later, and she was off to find the girls. When she got to the top of the stairs she saw Chloe and Lana sitting on the floor sobbing. "Whats the matter girls" martha asks sympathetically. "Well we saw Clark at the reunion" Chloe started , "that was good and all but he was kissing another girl" Lana finished. "Come here" martha said to the girls as a tear dropped out of her eye. "You now what i'm gonna go take a walk on the beach i'll be back later" Lana said as she walked down the loft stairs and exited the barn. Then she got in her car and left.

Five minutes after Lana left Clark pulled up. As soon as Johnathan saw Clarks car he ran outside and gave him a great big hug. "Son i've missed you so much" Johnathan said after giving Clark a hug. "it's nice to see you to dad I don't mean to sound rude but i really need to talk to somebody do you know where Lana is" said Clark. "Oh its ok, the last time i saw her she was with your mother and Chloe in the loft" Johnathan answered. "Thanks dad i'll talk to you as soon as i'm done . Clark screamed as he waas running into the barn.
When he finally reached the loft stairs he saw Chloe and his mom but no Lana. "hey mom "clark says as if nothing was wrong. "What do you want " chloe hissed. " I wanted to explain do you know where Lana is " clark hisses back. "she went for a walk on the beach she'll be back later " his mother told him, and a second later he was off.

As Lana was walking on the beach she was thinking about what happened the last time she saw Clark.
"Hey You wanted talk says Lana as she is walking up the loft stairs. "yeah i did " Clark says afraid to face her. "hey what ever it is i promise i can handle it" Lana says as sweetly as she possibly could. "OK not to sound rude but please don't talk till i'm finished talking it's hard enough to say it as it is" Clark says very very seriously. " kk"says lana. " Okay here goes Lana i've love you and i have ever since i laid eyes on you for the first time and i will never stop and i'm not sure if you feel the same way i do but if you do you know that this feeling will never go away" " oh and also i have to leave and i'm not sure when i'll be back or if i'm even coming back" says Clark crying . "Hey don't say that your gonna come back i know you are you wouldn't just leave like that" Lana says as tears start pouring out of her eyes. "this time it's different " clark says while leaning in to kiss Lana their lips meet and they start kissing very passionately, and in a split second he was gone and she was left there to cry.
Sometimes i wish times were like that lana thought. Then she sat down on the beach. Then all the sudden she hears Clark calling her.

Clark kept calling her name over and over again. Finally she gave in and screamed "I'm over here Clark". " Finally I found you I looked everywhere" Clark said sitting down next to her. "All I have to say to you is how could you" Lana said as tears started to come out of her eyes. "Doesn't what you said before you left mean anything to you. It really ment something to me, I waited for four years for you to come back. I never gave up hope, but when I saw you at the reunion. All that I had hoped for was shoved right back in my face. If you really cared for me and everyone else the way you say you do then you would have looked for us when you got back " Lana blurted out. She started to get up, but Clark pulled her back down and kissed her.

Back at the reunion Pete and Clark's wife Madison were making out. Then Madison stopped kissing and realized what time it was. "Pete we better go it's almost twelve o'clock, Clarks going to kill me".

"Why are you sitting outside at twelve o'clock at night" Madison questioned? " We are waiting for Clark and /or Lana to get home"Martha said. "They have been gone for three or four hours now" Chloe added. "And I have no idea whats going on" Johnathon confused.
