I love Farscape! I have all the DVDs that are out because I don't get Sci-Fi Channel! I am sooo excited about its revival! I can't believe Sci-Fi cancelled it to begin with!

I think it's the stupidest thing the sci-fi channel has ever done. It seemed like they panic whenever they have a really successful original series.

My dad has all the DVDs and I leech off him to watch them when I visit!

Last I heard the miniseries would be in Nov. or Dec.!
TV guide ranks Farscape as the #4 cult show of all time behind only Trek, X-files and Buffy! Not bad for a show only on the Sci-Fi Channel! Definitely one of the greatest (if not THE greatest) sci-fi shows ever!

I like ALL the characters.... though Stark bugs me! Farscape is just one of those shows that has the right mix of great characters and great chemistry between them! Every character matters to me and to the story... and that doesn't happen alot!!

Pilot is one of the best creatures I've ever seen made. True, I love all the characters. Especially Rygel's name for Zhaan. I miss her. :(

I love Farscape aswell. Amazing writing, terrific acting, and great storylines.

Was delighted to hear it was coming back for a mini-series and can't wait to see it, though I haven't heard any dates for it being shown in the UK yet!! Feel somewhat guilty that I didn't get involved in the campaign!!

I'm glad I wasn't the only person that Stark bugged, didn't really like him. But favourite characters were John & Aeryn (of course), and Chiana.

I liked Stark in the beginnig.

But when he came back for season 4 with that long stringy hair, all of a sudden I found him so annoying. In the beginning when he was with Zhann I didn't mind him, and I found him really funny when he was with Rygel in season 3. I loved this exchange:

"Hey, Astro boy. Work now. Freak Later."

"Okay. How much later".

But couldn't stand him in the final few episodes of season 4. He was hotter before he grew his hair as well.


And Chiana was so underused in season 3. I really liked what they did with her in season 4 with her new look and everything. And in early season 4 when John is all concerned and taking care of her aww.

I agree Chiana was underused in season 3, and I think the introduction of the seriously irritating Jool didn't help. Though it was still a great season with the two John's and splitting the crew up.

Don't ask me about favourite episodes, thinking about that one would completely frell my mind!!

Favourite season: season 3 (although I also LOVED season 2 as it has my favourite individual episodes).

Favourite episode: Won't Get Fooled Again.

I didn't mind Jool. Stark got on my nerves for those season 4 episodes he was in. But the only character I really hated from beginning to end was granny from season 4. Why was she there again? I found her unbearable.

Season 4 - Terra Firma; Were So Screwed

Granny didn't really make much of an impression on me either way. Though I agree, in season 4, she just seemed to be there with nothing much to do.

farscaper, right here, miniseries will be good. i dont know a show more underappreciated then farscape. They cancel good sci-fi and leave stuff like andromeda and enterprise on, doesnt make sense to me...

This was a great mini. This came out on dvd Jan. 18. I'll probably try to pick it up sometime. It doesn't have a lot of extras listed, but there is a 30 min. making of feature at least.

Contender have officially announced the release of the awesome mini-series Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars on DVD in the UK. Following up from our intial details in October, we can finally confirm that the DVD will be released Monday, February 14 2005 with an MSRP of 24.99.

The two-disc set will contain the complete mini-series presented in anamorphic widescreen with Dolby 5.1 audio.

But as we said some time ago, Lee Binding and the folks at Contender have worked hard to make this the best Farscape release ever. So, not only will the UK release contain all the extras on the US release, it will also contain a plethora of additional extras. The full list includes:

As you can see, the list does trounce the US release in terms of extras. I managed to catch the "Making Of" featurette at Burbank and it was really good, and I've been told that the interviews are excellent, and the deleted scenes so hot off the press that you're not meant to have them, but they're there anyway.

My favorite D'argo scene was from the episode on earth were they had to stop Crichton's dad from going aboard the challenger shuttle...

He's stealing a cop car, and some lady is staring at him. He leans out the window, thinks about it "uhhhhhh", then he gives her the finger and drives off. :)
