Since it was thanksgiving, they showed a rerun. Why they showed facade is beyond me.

Out of all the previous episodes they decided to show the scabby abby one and I wondered why too but after seeing it I realized how important this episode is now, especially seeing it now during the events that happened 5th season.

This episode wasn't shown at random.

-We saw some Lana and Lex interaction when Lex went through her things (again) and opened a package of books telling Lana she's not the only one who's interested in the ancient calligraphy- that Clark also was. (Lex started his suspicions of Lana's "school project", Lana noted how Clark is obsessed with the caves with the same markings)

Lex and Lana also had a moment where she was a lot friendlier to Lex. And since we know Lex has feelings for Lana and it was confirmed after Splinter, you noticed he was showing it in this episode by the way he looked and smiled at her.

-More Lois liking the reporter/undercover thing.

-Jason telling Lana "I'll just have to get use to having my guys drool over you" and she said he had nothing to worry about and he asked, "What about Clark Kent?" and she changed the subject. (Lana still had feelings for Clark)

-The hospital scene where Lex finds Jason telling Lana how much she means to him while she was unconsciously sleeping, Lex interupted and told Jason before leaving that "Lana deserves the best...." and he said, "I hope you're it" I use to think he was refering to his pal CLarky being the best for Lana- but now we know he was referring to himself when Lex got Jason fired later on. (Clark: "You didn't do it for me Lex, why you'd do it?")

-And the very last scene with Lois playfully touching Clark's hair when he was wet, Clark and Lois had a teasing look at one another while laughing and Chloe was shown smiling but as she looked at her cousin and Clark (innocently beaming at each other)her smile started to fade and then cut; the scene ended with some Avril song with the lyrics "so much for my happy ending" as Chloe looked down all depressed-like.

Did Chloe sense some sparks between Clark and Lois? We know that there’s going to be Clois in the future, how’s that going to effect Chloe? Was the “so much for my happy ending” a little foreshadowing of Chloe not being happy for her cousin and best friend getting together or a little foreshadowing of something really bad about to happen to Chloe?

I know I may be reading too far into this and there’s not much interpretation you can do from this ep because some indications were obvious, but it is peculiar that they chose to rerun this episode rather than something much more entertaining. There had to be more significance here. But I look forward to seeing "Spirit" again dec 1. and then dec 8. finally the antipated Lex-mas we've all been waiting for since last week.

see people this is why i always go online and check the episodes in adavnce. This way i know if I need to be home at 10 on thursdays or not, lol. What sucks though is we all know that TPTB won't air episode 100 until way after the holiday break. They always way about 2-3 weeks until after all the other shows start up again until they do. Oh well.

Spirit is one of my favorite episodes, mainly because at the end when the spirit of Dawn was inside Clark, that was hillarious! And the two lines were cracking me up until next episode!

-The crown's mine **tch! (Wach Chole across the room)
-you cant stop me Mr. Kent! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Yeah, it looked like TPTB dropped the whole triangle between Chloe-Lois-Clark. That would have been very interesting.

Well, technically it started to happen at the end of Season 1, but Clark ran off to save Lana and Chloe's "Let's just be friends" defense mechanism kicked on. I'd say if she'd still given him a chance after running off like that, they would have been together at least all of Season 2. That's the really sad thing, it's partially Chloe's fault that she never got with the guy. It's tragic. :(

She's always felt she couldn't really compete with Lana when it came to who was the one in Clark's heart. Poor Chloe.

but it just seems like Chloe gave up. she could've shown Clark that he was better off with her
