Expanding KryptonSite

I'm just curious... are there any other series (current or announced but not airing yet) that you would like to see a website for, KryptonSite-style?

Not saying it'll happen... but I'd be curious what you all think.

www.everwoodonline.com is the best Everwood site I've found so far, though it doesn't stand anywhere near K-Site in my opinion. And yeah... definitely would love to see an Everwood site...

Angel would be a good companion, except that the show's probably only got another season or two left :( Also, with it being owned by Fox, Fox generally comes down pretty hard on sites with their "copyrighted material." (Which is why you rarely see Buffy, Star Wars, or Simpsons sites).

Plus... isn't there already *something* good for Angel out there? Buffyguide.com might have info or something? :)

I think I have ideas on how to expand. Right now I've been sick for a few days and can't think clearly. But I'll be back! :)

Kyle XY, Heroes, The 4400, Who Wants To Be A Superhero, and Supernatural.

Those are the best shows around other than Smallville (assuming Heroes turns out as good as it's pilot.) If Aquaman gets picked up mid-season, I'd like to see a site for it, too.

I didn't name 9thWonders.... if I had a Heroes forum that's not on that site I'd probably do it right over here at the KryptonSite forum!

I'm still figuring out the logistics of that new board. At the time I'm the only mod who really moderates :( It's with the cooperation of the show's producers so it's really confusing what to do. lol

I'd still love to expand into some new stuff, if I could give it all the time and excitement that I give into KryptonSite. The reason KryptonSite does well, I think, is because I love Smallville and am really into it, so whatever I do would have to remain consistent with that. (And though they're both good shows, stuff like Supernatural and Kyle XY, I just don't watch enough...)

For HEROES, I like the two boards interface cause it's easier to use the vB Code.

Knowing what i know now, I figured 9th is the Official board, So I'm sticking to one for ease of use.

BUT I HIGHLY DOUBT that WE will talk much about SMALLVILLE there cause this is already a SOLID Base.

Craig, have you ever thought about updating the look of the K-Site forums? There's a big circle of television show forums that are affiliated with each other and run on vBulletin with different schemes released every now and then. Because of the rules, I can't post links to them, but there's one for Supernatural, Charmed, Grey's Anatomy, Veronica Mars, Lost, and a few other shows. They're extremely sleek and professional looking with larger headers at the top, customized forum colors, and all that jazz. I just thought that since a vast amount of people visit K-Site everyday, that what they see should be pleasing to the eye. Not that it doesn't do that already. ;) If you're interested, I could e-mail you the links to some of them.

I must be the only person on here that has heard of Lucky Louie. What I don't like is, like Blade, Lucky Loiue, etc, is the seasons are so short. 12 epis for Lucky Louie, Kyle XY is about 10, but I don't get into that show, and Blade I'm not sure how long it is.

Someone really... REALLY... needs to make a good 24 site. I guess it's because of that FOX and copyright material thing that was mentioned earlier but of all the sites (the official one included) I've yet to see a really good 24 site or compares to KryptonSite in general.

I mean, KryptonSite is so good, that even though I don't even WATCH Smallville anymore I'm STILL drawn back here.

And 24 is the best show on television (look no further than Season Five and its shiny Emmys for proof) - it deserves a kick-ass site.

The problem with 24, Gilmore Girls, House, etc.... even moreso with legal stuff is just this: I don't personally watch them. I've got to love a show or at least be interested in order to do a site. Though I do think they're all good series, and Gilmore I've watched several times.

I've got a plan for some new stuff to come around here in a few weeks. Right now I'm in the middle of writing a new book but I think/hope people will be happy.

I don't think there should be new sites based on current shows. Part of the reason I love KryptonSite is that it has been covering Smallville since before the beginning. If they decide to cover a new show is that they should do it before it starts.

I think one of the reasons HeroSite hasn't caught on as much as it could is because it wasn't there at the beginning.... plus a lot of times I see fan networks creating sites for existing shows that are near the end of their run.
