Wow, no SR thread?

I guess i'll take the liberty of starting a Superman Returns thread by saying I thought the fanmade trailer posted somewhere else was a little better, if only the fanmade one had the Jor-EL voiceover. I was hoping to see a villian, particularly Lex.

Except for the special effects which will be presumably great considering the state of the art, the trailer did nothing to inspire me to see the movie. It was all dark and I hate the suit. Colors are too dull.

It was a teaser trailer designed to generate interest without revealing much in the way of information.

My primary disappointment: If Superman's "returning" why the hell do we need to see YET MORE SCENES of his origin?

I missed the trailer. Can anyone tell me what happened in it?
