Should Smallville get the recognition it deserves by getting at least an EMMY nomination for episodes like this---forget comedy!!

I think we have seen some great acting in the series this season. But Sci-Fi type shows are known to be overlooked for awards.

I think "Smallville" has deserved that kind of recognition for a long time, so my answer is a resounding 'yes.'

I voted for yes. My bias would give it show of the year every year from now on (if there are more) and would go back and give them for their past seasons....but in a realistic sense I agree with another person's post - Smallville has been over looked...and more than that, this season has been really good - well worth at least a nomination. IMHO

I would love for Smallville to get a nod, but I supremely doubt it would ever happen. The Emmys are BS like every other award show anyway.

MR is Defintely great as Lex but I would love to do more with Allison Mack than just take her out for dinner :D

Personally, I think the Emmys are ridiculous and won by money rather than quality. And since I like Smallville, I'm voting no.

Just to be honest, the Emmy's are picked by a relatively small and elitest group of biased people, and they probably won't look too kindly on any superhero/comic book type shows really. I'd be really surprised if SV got an Emmy. :)

That said, I voted yes, because SV deserves it for many reasons.

My neighbor was telling me that ER is going bto be hughe deal this week cuz there is going ot be a plane crash. They made it seem like a huge deal these people should watch smallville and see that they do this kind of stuff everyweek with two episodes having metor showers

I have to say that the actors in Smallville are incredible. I may hate Lana's whining, but that's the writer's fault.

Clark has played some of the greatest variety of characters I've ever seen.

He's played a teenage alien with superpowers, an older billionaire (Transference), and a teenage girl (the prom episode). Lana's imitation of that girl on the prom episode was flawless. Martha Kent playing a teenager was also hilarious.

All the actors on Smallville are extremely good at playing other characters as they seem to mind-switch a lot.

Smallville def deserves an Emmy, it will never happen though. They will never even get a nomination no matter how good the story is.

I've seen some of the shows they give Emmys to, and will never understand why.

They deserve the recognition, but maybe I only say that because I like the show. It isn't an unbiased opinion, but alas I voted yes.
