View Full Version : Clark=Anakin...Again
So did anyone feel a Star Wars vibe again in this epsiode. No, I'm not talking about Chloe's R2D2 comparison with Fine, but that it felt like Clark (Anakin) was so angry that he gave in to Fine's (Palpatine's) persuasion. Clark also said something along the lines that Jor-el must be destroyed. That was so Anakin in the Dark Side. Brainark makes such a good team!

Not only that, but Fine/Braniac made Clark think that he could heal/save his mother if Clark did as he wanted.
SW reference; Anakin seeing Padme die in child birth - while dreaming - and Palpatine using that to his advantage, persuading Anakin that if he joined him on the Dark Side, together they could prevent Padme from dying.

Wow. Maybe It's Clark who's on the path to the dark side.

Dont get too excited. I talked to Yoda recently and he said he hasn't been approached by Al Gough or Miles Miller.
But then again they said something about Dean Cain being on the show and he said he hasn't been approached yet either.

Yoda: How you get so big, eating food of cows that don't feed themselves?

Interesting comparison this is.
yeah, this whole thing made me feel as though Jor-el was Yoda/Obi-Wan and Fine was Palpatine turning Clark to the dark side. The only difference is that Palpatine wanted Anakin to join him and become his apprentice while Fine had the intention of killing Clark after he got what he wanted from him. Also, if Ma Kent had died, I think Clark would have gone through the same rage that Anakin had gone through when his mother died.

Definetely a lot of parallels.
