sort of a dull ending I say, I figured he was atleast as strong as kryptonians and could not be killed unless he was sealed away in some form. oh well we shall see what they do I gave up trying to figure out what they do on this show compared to other superman shows and the comics since they make up new things eahc episode

he can be beaten... Supes has always been more powerful but Brainiac always had a trump card to try to give him an edge. A big thing about Brainiac though is that he is HUGE on self preservation. The best comic to illustrate this was Crisis on Infinite Earths. He knew that the antimatter was destroying everything and his survival mode kicked into superdrive. He's got a habbit of always leaving a piece of himself behind and coming back new and improved so don't be suprised if we see him again in the not too distant future.

whatever happened to him was strong. He lost his spaceship (which he relied on to make stuff, like silver k or the FOS piece), and he disappeared into thin air.

Well he can turn into that black liquid, so who knows what else he can do. But rest assure, he will be back.. o yes... he will be back.

Actually, I think it would be really funny if Clark went to school next episode and Fine is just there again, teaching the class, like nothing happened.

The look on Clarks face would be priceless.

That black crystal is still around isn't it? Also, the FOS is gonna be a mess if people keep throwing Kryptonite around and just leaving it there. Supes can't pick it up, so who will, doubt he has a maid. But maybe that black crystal is the piece that comes back.

Well in the movies, the Fortress has like... holes of infinite depth. In superman II, Zod's deciples(or whoever they were) fell into those holes and I guess just kept falling or something, so maybe the kryptonite fell down there.

The thing is, since this is a pre-quel, Brainiac MUST BE less powerful then he was in the comics.

I got the impression that he teleported himself back to the ship.

Perhaps he's vulnerable in his sludge form, and so after Clark impaled him he figured he'd either have to revert to sludge form and get his butt kicked or flee and fight another day? Just speculating.

I dont know what happened to brainiac but obviously he cant be gone. Hes as big as an enmey as lex to clark. So fine being gone would be like them killing lex off, CANT HAPPEN
