God how I have missed Lionel/Chloe scenes...they were always so good. This wasn't their best scene, but hey, it's was a nice start.

How did Lionel find out about Fine?

I don't like that Chloe is so easy around Lionel. This is the man that attempted to kill her a couple of years ago, after all. I know that Chloe has the investigation bug under her skin, but this still seems too strange to me.

Good point, I'd probably be a little scared to have him around me. I was just so excited to see them in a scene together again that I didn't think about what they have been through. He's gotta be up to something though.

I am soo confused on how they are portraying Lionel. First, you don't know who's side he is on. Then you dont know if he is lionel or Lion-EL......

But I did enjoy the Chlionel interaction. They just click so well together. Even though she should hate him..

You know the saying keep your friends close but your enemies closer. With her knowledge of Clark I think she was trying to run interference for him (be his eyes and ears when he's not around) so she knows what others are figuring out about him. She was skeptical, but when he said story of the century and knowing his history, she probably thought he was talking about Clark wanted to help Clark by finding out whatever Lionel had to say.

Chloe must know that Lionel is trying to do some good so she believes that he truly reformed.
