I love the Lexis ship. Lex unlike Clark knows how to push her buttons.

Lexis is so much more interesting than Lexana. It would be great if they started to show Clark become jealous of Lex over Lois, instead of over Lana.

haha, that would be funny to see Clark jealous, even if I don't like Lexis.

Lex is just stealing all the women in Clark's life... LOL

Ick. I don't like Lexis. I am baised though because I am a diehard Lexana Lover, and I tend to hate Smallville Lois with a firey vengence. I just can't see past it! Sorry.

I actually liked the Lex vs. Lois banter. I especially liked when Lex called her a muffin pusher! I would so much prefer Lexis to Lexana!!

It was a funny scene. Lexis is pushing it though.

I think we'll be seeing some Lexis when the Lex vs. Lois war is over. Because by then we'll see Lois as the woman she's meant to be (considering she'll be taking on her journalistic edge to dig up dirt on Lex), and I think they'll come out of their little spat respecting each other.

Bring on the Lexis! It's soooo much sexier than Lexana!

I wish they had done Lexis last season, now it doesn't seem as feasible, but I don't care. I'll take any Lexis I can get. I've been a hopeless Lexis lover since the first time I ever encountered either of these characters together, which was in the animated series (a funny note, that has no importance at all but is still quirky, is that Erica's husband, David looks EXACTLY like a live version of animated Lex, even down to his size, since animated Lex was almost as burly as Supes himself) and that was when I was a little sh*t who played way too much Sega Genesis.

Now as an adult I still love Lexis, it's comics canon (I'm not a strictly canon girl but I like seeing canon relationships in other media, it means someone was paying attention) and I love it. Why I don't know, I think because it's slightly twisted. Nobody has any valid material reason for liking things like fictional ships because it's just a matter of seeing something you like. So I don't feel guilty at all in say that I was a little turned on by the hedging between Lex and Lois in "Solitude"

For one, it had Lex challenging Lois to do something besides that muffin peddling (Blueberry Banana? Starbucks I miss you, why don't you open earlier?!) Before when people have threatened to dig up dirt on him (which Lois wasn't planning on doing herself at that point, only warning him to watch his six) he has gotten hostile before or rebutted them completely. With Lois he told her to go right ahead, he had nothing to hide. Wether or not his bribe's and name calling were purposely done for that reason, I don't know but it worked, look how she reacted to it? She immediately wanted to find something out about him, even though her reasons were personal (and with Lois they often are) she later started realising that it was petty and actually thought about looking into his misdeeds. Realising later that someone like Lex and with as much power wouldn't be the best choice for state senator where he'd have even MORE power and would be likely to misuse it. I would had preferred those thoughts had been touched on before and didn't feel forced in that scene at all, but I still enjoyed it. Finally Lois took initiative on her own (spurred by Lex) to do something other than work at the talon, something I think most of us have been waiting for for a long time.

You are right in that open animosity can and often does get flirtatious later on. Anger is one of the more passionate emotions a person has. Hence the reason that people say that making love after an argument is more passionate then normal, because your adrenanline is high from your anger earlier.

Lexis will probably never be touched on, but I would enjoy if it was.

Lex and Lois as a couple!?? That would just make no sense at all. I do love their bickering with each other though, that was funny.

It'll be interesting to see how Lex falls for a muffin peddling college dropout.
