Sorry to burst your bubble, but Clark is not going to fly. They have said that Clark will not fly for the rest of the show. They just wanted to give us a taste in Crusade. Other than that, there will be no flight for the rest of the show.
It definately sucks, as I would love for them to tie in flight with the 100th episode. But it is not gonna happen.

Brainiac can fly easy but I doubt he will show that to Clark until they are enemys and start to fight but that wont be today.

It will be a good way to end the episode with that kind of cliff hanger.. i mean the next Episode is Lexmas airing December 8th.

He flew in the third episode this season to stop a missle. Well in all fairness I think he leaped, which is an example of TPTB slowly developing his powers. First leaps, then bounds, then flying.

He did not fly in Hidden. It was clearly a jump. There was not enough distance between the ground and the missile for it to be considered flight. If Clark had gotten to the warhead once it was out of the Earth's atmosphere, that is taller than any single building. But the warhead was still in Smallville, which means that Clark could have lept to grab onto it. They put the effects in there to make it seem more dramatic.

Alright, all respect to Vyperman, but has anyone heard about the moles that are placed to lead us in the wrong direction or those that placed fake scripts into the mainstream to lead us astray? Well, I am praying on my freakin knees that Vyperman is the mole! Please Vyp be the mole!! Please! Please!
If there is anything I do know is no matter how great the first plot, the one we want is the best. I am tired of seeing him on the floor, I want some AIR!! I think that the more want there is, the more it will happen. What about Aquaman, no plans to make anything but by popular demand it is now a show on the go....
Just to recap....PLEASE BE THE MOLE!!! PLEASE!!!

The mole huh?
If it meant we got to see flight, even I would hope that I was somehow the mole, but unfortunately I am not.
Been a member of the site for over 2 years, and have never been able to influence the show one way or the other.
Sorry DMA

That's debateable, which is why this thread was started. I know I can't personally jump 1000 ft into the air, so I just assume that if someone could, it would look like they flew.

Clark is pretty strong and that added to the lower gravity of earth will cause him to jump higher than any building.
