expectations for solitude?

yeah spoilder screen caps look that way alot something goes down with the Kents and Brainiac finally goes into the FOS with Clark and sor tof brings his whole plan into full effect, should be a good one indeed.

Yep. i also want clark to realise the truth about brainiac - that will most likely happen if brainiac shows his dark side.

I think it will be ambiguous. With a name like Brainiac, the guy had better have a lot of contingency plans and ways to cover up his "badness."

I actually have good feelings about this episode unlike the last several. Splinter was great, let's see if it continues tonight. I am hoping that Clark does NOT destroy the FOS.

I agree. I will be ticked if he destroys the FoS. If he doesn't this episode will be pretty dang good. It would make it great if there was some Clois mixed in there too.... :D

It's getting annoying that Clark destroys everything from his heritage. First the ship, now FOS? I really hope he doesn't do that.

In the screen caps you can see red light in the fortress, like when Clark exposed the Kryptonians to red lrays to take away their powers in Superman 2.

I think Solitude is gonna rock it. Its been a long time that i've looked foward to an ep that probably doesn't have any Lexana in it! I am really hoping that they will show a Lexmas trailer at the end of Solitude though.

It has been destroyed and rebuilt several times in the comics so the answer is yes. It wont need to be rebuilt here though because it wont be destroyed

and i'm not gonna speculate on whether the FOS is destroyed, especially based solely on what is shown in the trailer. for all i know, the FOS gets a tummy ache from having a purple stick shoved where it doesn't belong. ;)

so, i'm just gonna watch it and enjoy the ride. if i have to complain later, i will :)

i think they purposely put 3 'not great' episodes in a row (aqua, thirst, exposed) cos now we're gonna get great episodes for the rest of the season (well thats what im expecting)

See personally I loved Jinx. And even Season 4.

Here's how I break it down:

Devoted and Facade and Spell were the worst of the first 8 of Season 4 and nowhere near as good as Thirst Exposed and Aqua, arguably the worst of Season 5.

Crusade and Run and Transference were all great but I think after Solitude airs, the trifecta of Arrival and Hidden and Solitude will stand-up much stronger

that would be funny if the lights in the FOS were Clark losing his powers for the 2nd time this season like in Superman II

I must say that I am really looking forward to this episode. The last time I was this excited for an episode was Transference, and before that, Memoria. There have only been a handful of episodes that got me truly excited, and Solitude is definately one of them. Then when you add the SR trailer, it is definately a winning combo. Although, the only reason that I want to see film as of right now, is because of Kevin Spacey as Lex Luthor.

I didn't see "Solitude" when it originally aired so I'm waiting for it to premiere tonight. I hope it's a good episode and the near-death sequence is handled better than "Reckoning".
