I went over the posts, didn't see this listed. The Kent's took it pretty good since she saved them.

I wonder how this will change her relationship with the Kent's since she had a history of prying into Clark's past so much.

Plus I hadn't realized a year had passed...........

she said last year...technically it was early this year..but if she's talking about school year, then yea..last year

Well, she did find out about Clark when Alicia showed her the "car incident" and that happened last year. Clark didnt come clean till this year. Ma and Pa asked WHEN she found out not when Clark told her.

I'm guessing the Kent's reaction to Chloe's knowledge of Clark's secret was so nonchalant because of Pete. Pete was just a good a friend as Chloe is now. They're already experienced having one of Clark's friends know his secret and know the benefits and the cons that come with it. They've simply been there done that already.

i assumed that Clark had already told the Kents, it was pretty surprising that he didnt yet.

it was pretty awesome hearing Chloe say the word Kryptonite!!! Maybe she'll start saying K from now on but it was still sure to hear that she knows the situation. =)

I still feel really sorry for Ma Kent getting tossed like that. That was pretty bad... she didn't even have anything to do with the delusion CK was having.

Yeah, Ma and Pa got it pretty bad. After he flung his Mom across the room I thought it was cool how JK instinctively tried to tackle Clark even though he knew he couldn't do it. I think he was scared, since Clark's never done anything like that before!

And yep, Chloe saying the K word was music to my ears. :D

I can't believe they didn't figure it out or that Clark ahdn't discussed it since Chloe got transpoted by the cave to the FOS. I mean, of course she'd know something after that. Clark at least confessed when he's told Pete. Now, I'm guessing he won't tell his parents about Dr. Fine just as he didn't tell them about the consequences of his hanging near Lana instead of returning to Jor-El.

I'm glad that they know that Chloe knows, but I wish there had been a scene with them talking to Clark about Chloe knowing.

I was surprised Clark hadn't told Chloe about the Red K, or that she hadn't remembered Metropolis and asked him about it.

I thought there would have been more when the Kents found out Chloe knew. Seemed kinda short, considering the secret.
But then again, she said she knew for year, and obviously she never printed anything or said anything, so maybe they figured she was 'ok'.
1 small thing that bothered me, was when Martha mentioned the Red K, and Chloe acted like she neverheard of it.
She knew the school rings were red meteor rock and the meteor rock is Kryptonite..shouldn't have been that hard to put together.

I thought as soon as she heard the phrase "red Kryptonite" the first words out of her mouth would have been, "....oh, Kal..."

Surprising our ace reporter didn't make the connection immediately.

And as for Ma getting tossed, man that was harsh! I was hoping it didn't really happen, but remained part of Farm Boy's dellusions!

When John Kent told Clark "he was just something he foudn in a corn field" I thought Clark was gonna snap his neck then and there.
TW really played that scene well, imo.

She probably did make the connection. Heck she had to have known there was some connection already but perhaps this didn't seem like the time to go into all the details.

And yes, I thought Clark was gonna do just that when he grabbed Jonathan. I'm still trying to decide what was real and what was hallucination there.

Oh, and it is Chloe.

I have a terrible tendancy to transpose. Brain thinking faster than I can type, hard as that is to believe.

Does it not generally seem Clark tells his parents very little now? They used to be a lot closer.

I think that Chloe just never had the time to think out the Red K stuff, or any other of the past behavior weirdness. She notes they have happened, but does not connect them to any particular cause, as she knows how complicated life is for Clark, with Jor-El, Green K, Silver K, Red K, the Kryptonian Stones, the FOS. Chloe may not concern herself assigning one exact event to one exact cause, but knows kinda why Clark acts strange once and awhile.

After hearing about Red K, I am sure some gears started to turn in Chloe's head, but with Clark in trouble, it's really not the time to go into it. And I have noticed that the show often skip's some unaired conversations, and we are to assume that Clark told Chloe more about some stuff off the air. Clark never really explained certain words to her, like Krypton, Kryptonite, Jor-El, or Kal-El. Chloe just started using these words like she was told about it off air, 'cus apparently Clark tells her lots of stuff now, but we only have 42 minutes to show Smallville every week. I am sure the writers don't want to waste airtime on redundant conversations we already know the answer to.

I think not telling his parents about every little thing that goes on is not a sign of Clark not trusting his parents as much, but more of a sign of independence. That Clark is becoming a man, and takes care of his own problems. Why make the parents worry over something they have no control over anyway.

They gave Jonathan's token wall tossing to Martha this week.

People often share things with others they trust even though they or the person themselves can change nothing. And maybe it is a sign of independence but I'm thinking it might be more guilt. He thinks Jonathan is going to die and didn't tell them for that reason at least and now it seems he tells them less and less. And I would say Clark does owe them more than other kids because of his and thus their unique situation. He should keep them aprised somewhat since it could easily affect them.

They did take it well although the look on their faces... "You know about Kryptonite?" and Chloe is all, "I knew you kept it in the bar." and was very matter of fact about it like it was no big deal and then the shocking, "Oh, I knew since last year." and then she's on about her business. Loved it.

I liked how Chloe said "everything, I think" because of course, she can't know whether or not she knows everything. The Kents will probably want Clark to give them a rundown on what she does and does not know, just so they don't inadvertantly tell her something she doesn't know that Clark doesn't want her to know.

This was a small hole in the story. Chloe is the one who discovered red Kryptonite way back in Season 2. Epislode: Red. She knows it exists -- although the way she reacted is seemed like she didn't. Maybe she didn't know how it affected Clark.

SHe knew about it but obviously didn't know they called it Red K. And really, there's very little she doesn't know since she saw almost everything in Blank and obviously Clark has filled her in. They probably just couldn't get over the fact that she was so blase about it.

I don't know why Clark wouldn't have shared the fact that Chloe knows to his parents, but I think that TPTB wanted us to see when they found out though. I think that Clark simply forgot to mention the red-k, but you could see Chloe connect the dots after the Kents explained what red-k does to Clark. I also think that Chloe and the Kents didn't have the time to elaborate since something was wrong with Clark, plus he just destroyed their front door.

It didn't make any sense to me that Clark wouldn't have told his parents about Chloe by now. There didn't seem to be a reason to keep it from them.

And I was glad that they addressed whether the Kents knew about Chloe, but I really wanted Chloe to be there for the last Kent scene to be welcomed into the inner circle the way Pete was when he found out. There wasn't enough shown on screen regarding the Kents' reaction to Chloe knowing the truth. I really wanted to see more on that.

It's surprising how the Kents didn't find out sooner. Considering "Arrival" happened in May and this episode takes place in November or December it's hard to believe that Clark would've waited that long especially since he told them about Pete and Lana immediately after the fact.

I wsas thinking that Clark was about to do some serious damage too before Chloe came in.

I was surprised how Chloe came from the barn to the house so fast. She said she was at the barn and then heard a noise so she came to house. But how'd she get there so fast?
