Is Brainiac made of Liquid or what???

So like Im confused, from what we have seen of Brainiac up to this episode, Brainiac was similuar to the T-1000 in T2. Even when Clark punched him in Splinter it kinda looked like his fist went through him, whats the deal?

Also, does Brainiac have heat vision like Clark or is it something Stronger and different?

They altered Brainiac so much compared to the comics I have no idea. This is all SV version with a little influence from the Superman:The Animated Series.

From what we saw tonight I say he does have Clark's powers right now. To make him an equal opponent physically aganist Clark when they will have their fight.

Hopefully there will be an explaination of some of this because tonight Fine only gave a half-truth to Clark.
