At the Kent's when Chloe tried to disable him using green K, how was he able to super speed away?? He typically gets useless around the stuff - not even able to stumble far enough away.

Or do we chalk it up to the silver K keeping it from affecting him as much?

Because there was no green k there. It was all a delusion.

Wonderful plot hole. LOL. I mean, every episode which is GREAT in most people's eyes has some of these. Do they just miss them or something? I guess the explanation up there of the silver kryptonite doing something to the green might fly, but ... who knows.

The green k was at the barn as usual. Clark has one in the lead container, and the Kents keep some in the closet.

There was no green k in Fine's classroom. That green k was a delusion.

Chloe was far away and Clark was feeling no pain. It was like being hyped up on PCP.

Uh, then what was Chloe talking about? Clark wasn't there at the point when Chloe was talking to Jonathon and Martha, so that part wasn't delusion.

And Clark seems to be gaining more tolerance to kryptonite but he shouldn't be able to escape so easily that the rock's useless as a deterrent. More stumbling and groaning is needed.

Green k in Fine's classroom = delusion

Green k in Kent's kitchen = real

Chloe was holding the green k still after Clark left the premise. When the Kents were talking she still had it when Clark was not there, or looking from the outside. As Funvince said.

Clark is becoming more tolerate to k-nite S4 emphasized that, and Chloe was just near enough to stop Clark from choking is father.

Yes, but the green K is supposed to have a physiological effect on him, right? It's not just pain that can get ignored when a person is tripping. I thought it actually does something to his system and makes him powerless.

She wasn't exactly right on top of him with it. When he starts to get near it he feels the effects but can back away from it if given the chance. She looked pretty damn scared so was probably hesitant to get close to him since she just saw him throw his own mother across the room and choke out his dad. When he drops to the floor it's usually because it's for lack of a better term, thrust right on him in some way or another.

I am starting to believe that as Clark gets older, his abilities shift. He is still vulnerable to green K but you gotta really lay the rock on him now to hurt him. I also believe that as Clark gets older and stronger, his super-speed will still exist but diminish, meaning that it will now be faster for him to fly than run

But remember in Thirst, when Lex opened that briefcase -- he collapsed and didn't get up, but it seems it's the time factor that makes a difference. It's worse the longer he's around it. I think Martha even said this in Red -- that the longer he's around Kryptonite, the sicker he gets. So the longer he's wearing the red K ring the more dangerous he is. I think when Chloe appeared, he didn't hang around, so he managed to get away before he was affected too seriously.

I wonder if green K is more potent in liquid form rather than rock form

so far we actually have seen that he gets faster in running.

i dont see why his running should slow down just so that he can take up flying. if anything, flying is faster, but running becomes faster to a point without necessarily slowing down.
