So, if the silver meteor rock had infected Clark, why did everyone keep carelessly handling it?

I don't think it was actually Kryptonite. It was part of brainiac

i never thought of that but that's a pretty good idea, and i guess that would make sense, considering the end of the episode

I know it wasn't kryptonite - but they didn't know that. They knew it had infected Clark. Why weren't they afraid it would infect them - unless they both are coming to believe that Clark is...well not normal.

Plot------->(0) into the hole.
Amazing episode anyway.
Oh I don't know why's Lex doing all those experiments on K at Luthorcorp?
What about Clark picking up the chunk of K in Mortal?
What about the Red K in the class rings in Red?
Wanna nitpick and engage in fly speck analysis?

Mortal - Clark=humans
Red K - Pretty sure not a lot of people know that it's kryptonite, or realized it has made anyone sick.
I'm down for some for some fly spec analysis ;)

I think it is silver kryptonite, but maybe that just happens to be what Brainiac's made of.
So Brainaic like the embodiment paranoia in Clark?

How did Brainiac penetrate Clark? Since the silver on that otherwise normal rock was just a coating of Brainiac he shouldn't have been able to get that small piece of himself inside Clark. Is this a plot hole or an oversight of the writers?

Brainiac is technically FROM KRYPTON'S UNIVERSE so he'd have the same molecular strength that Clark does, hence he can pierce his skin. Sheesh.:\
Oops. I meant galaxy. Eep. :eek:

I guess they figure that as long as they don't touch the sharp corners they won't be affected.
