I think it is to early to start deciding if it will be the best of the season. You would hope that every episodes top the next, but that isn't possible. I would defiently be a good question at the end of the season or close to the end.
To answer your question, I think by looking at the trailers you can see that Splinter will be up there in the top 10. Let's just hope it goes far and beyond or expectations

Yup yup saw all preview. It looks good but still got to wait untill I see the whole show.

Cause like last week the clips and teaser for Exposed was good, but the episode just did nothing for me. Other than seeing Lois half naked again.. it was kind a bland

I gotta disagree. This is the first ep in awhile that is actually largely important to the season arc, because it is apart of Brainiacs "grand seduction of Clark Kent". Filler eps are Aquaman and Thrist. Exposed was mainly filler as well, but it did touch on a couple important season arc points, like Lex running for Senator possibly against Pa Kent, and Chloe working her Daily Planet job.

Since I'm a girl, seeing a Patriotic Stripper Lois did nothing for me, in fact I think her dancing was really akward looking, but that was probably the point. For me the best part of the ep was when Lex gave his "Sent him off to battle to die" speech to Clark near the end, felt very Lexana-ish to me! And, of course the trailer showed at the end of Exposed, which was hella awesome.

From what I've seen and read about 'Splinter' the episode should be good.

But, best episode so far, that I don't know. The first three eps's were so good this year, Splinter might be the forth best epsiode so far.

I'm just hoping this one will be better than the last.

It depends on whether Lois is in the episode and if so, how much. There is an inverse relationship to quality.

Everytime they introduce new kryptonite it's in a big episode. Think Red and Crusade.

wow! this episode was just brilliant. i loved it! at times it was creepy...messing with your mind. and prof fine was amazing. i wasn't expecting that fight. that was a welcome surprise. and tom really did a great job. next week ought to be excellent, too. can't wait! :D

This is the second best episode this season, with Arrival being the best, and third being Hidden. All I can say about this episode is...WOW. Easily the best acting Tom Welling has done this season, maybe ever.

WOW awesome doesn't even come close to discribing this episode. I couldn't wait for the next scene, the tension was that high. Tom Welling has come a long way as an actor, he has really matured as an actor.
