Who Would Win In a Fight To the Death: Lois or Lana?

Alright, who would win in an all out death match style fight. Lana or Lois? Facts are, both know how to magically take down males twice their size in 2 seconds flat, so what do you all think, and why?

I don't know why but seeing Lois do Kungfu works so much better than Lana. Maybe it is more realistic that a General's daughter would have some actual martial arts training instead of just a week or two with a punching bag in Lex's office. Maybe it is the different actresses play action a bit differently. I don't really know but when Lana is spin kicking someone it seems fake but when Lois spin kicks someone it actually looks like something that could knock a guy though his interior decorating. Of course I could just be subconsciously telling myself, "Duh, it's Lois Lane silly." Anyway, I enjoyed the fight scene and Lois really tore the dirt ball up.

With Chloe. You have the situation of her lacking any fighting skills whatsoever and there has never been any hint of it anytime during the show.

When Lana was beating Chloe up, that was purely through influence. I'm more than willing to bet she learned the ability to handle herself through that hypnosis. Since her only prior experience was with Lex's brief training.

Yeah, um, sorry about that . .. :p I do admit I get biased when it comes to Lois. . . I can't help it, I just like Lois too much, I guess. . . . I agree (I forgot about it) that Lois has just recently dug up Chloe's grave and was probably exhausted and then this, freak comes in. Her first exposure to a meteor freak must have shocked and distracted her. . . That is why I am grateful (somehow) that Lana came in and helped her. :)

As for the topic at hand, I really think Lois would win. I mean, she hands out grenades as graduation gifts and with all her tagging along with her dearest Daddy, she must have picked up some skills in the camps.. . Like how to use ammunitions and high-powered guns. .. Not to mention, she knows some martial arts, right?


As for Lana, I don't think Isobel's fighting skills retained in her. .. She does not have consciousness whenever she gets possessed so I doubt that she still have those skills particularly now that the Isobel Arc has been buried. . .I sobel is gone in Smallville for good, right? And the little defense lesson she may have learned from Lex is lacking (even if I firmly believe that Lex is a great teacher. . . ). :)

Lois is definitely smart! She's got great wit and banter. The way Lois managed to get Clark to be the one to invite her to stay at the Kent house at the end of Recruit. He was all, wait a minute, what just happened? They way she called out JK's old campaign manager on his media lies. Very quick with the tongue, you don't see anyone else being able to keep up and have that playful verbal back and forth with Clark.

In a Lois vs. Lana fight, Lois would definitely kick Lana's ***. And not just because of the military background. Lana always has that deer in headlights look. Lois would totally be like Buffy, throwing out these great lines, confusing/distracting her opponent and then a punch and Lana is down! Lois wins!

Thmallville you are is some serious denial if you think Lois would talk and fight with Lana. Lois would drop her like a rock since shes trained in martial arts , shes the daughter of a general. Lana had training with Lex against a punching bag for a few lessons if that since we only see one. The real sad part is Lois is the one with the fighter personality , Lana is passive and rarely defends herself. Lana relies on Clark or someone else to constantly save her , Lois fights back if shes in trouble and

Lest we not forget Lois did bring a football player to his knees in recuirt stone drunk, Lana really wouldnt stand a chance based on past events the height difference and the fact Lois grew up learning to fight from the best our military has to offer. A white belt just cant walk up to a fourth degree black belt and kick her butt with out years of simular training pratice and experince.

Seems like Lana was an honor's student while creating and managing a business and (apparently) supporting herself. Compare that with the dependant of a high ranking officer, not graduating with her high school class (or even knowing she wasn't graduating), not knowing her college admittance was pulled due to the above, that when she got strings pulled by Lex to get her into college, managed to get expelled in one semester, and then latched on as a dependant of the Kent family when Daddy trimmed her credit cards.

The former is sharp (if excessively tempermental), the latter is not too sharp (even if excessively snide). Lana was the former, Lois was the latter.

As it turns out, since everything in Smallville happens in an episode, this is a culmination of events which also features Chloe and Clark working to solve the problem for the last 40 minutes, after Chloe gives him way too detailed information as to how to get to the scene of the fight, Clark zooms in just in time, (as he always does) and when presented with a choice of who to save, he disintegrates Lois with his heat vision in order to save Lana. (or maybe he just knocks her out, thats less satistfying though isn't it?)

i think both of these girls kick ass. Lana sure is a fighter, especially after all the attacks she's been through. Just look at her in Zod! Lois also fights back pretty hard. SO i think it's tied between them coz they're both pretty good fighters.

This is true, but I don't think Chloe was putting up much of a fight because she didn't want to hurt Lana. Lana on the other hand was in fact trying to hurt Chloe. That being said I think Chloe held her own. She did get in that nice punch that knocked Lana off the stairs. I really enjoyed that one, especially how they had it in slo-motion.

I still voted for Lois though. She could definately take Chloe or Lana.

This is an old thread but yeah ok. Well Lana has a hidden dragon, she kicked that fat man in season one or season 2... She kung fued hustled Chloe... It would be close fight, it doesn't matter what size or how big you are, if you got speed or can fight you got a chance..
