Lois is a terrific fighter; she never gives up and she always fight to the death, and Lois have never asked for anyone´s help like Lana who always askes for Clark or Lex to save her. Lois is a warrior in all senses, she always wants to solve the troubles by her own hands and always handles herself so Lois doesn´t need to be rescued all the time.:) :D

That was "Isobel" possessing Lana. Isobel was trained a lot more in combat then LAna was. We're talking about Lana here, not Isobel. If it was a fight between Lois and Isobel, then yeah, Isobel would probably win.
And getting self-defense classes for one week isn't enough to fight off a girl who's been trained her whole life. Plus, it looked like Lana was doing more boxing lessons than actual self-defense classes. The weakness about boxers is that all you have to do is break their arms and they're useless. Lois has been trained in everything - even if Lois lost her arms she could still kick ass with just her legs. 'Nuff said.

Hey, Lois is a survivor and fighter too. She's been with countless not-so-great guys that has led her off the beaten track. Plus, she's a blackbelt if I remember correctly. Lana took a few lessons from Lex and signed up for a class. Lois is street wise and can kick some serious a**. :lol:

According to show canon, Lois was trained by the military. She mention it in season 5 episode Fade. The only reason why Lana would win, now, is because of her powers.

Same thing could be said for Lana. She tried to hit people knowing she had no skills to hit a fly. Seven months of training dont equal a life time of it. I can say Lois got some tricks up her sleeve Lana wouldn't see comming. She has been in the hospital more than anybody on the show. At least Lois can get herslef out of a jam using her natural self and brain. Lana had to beef herself up with steriod juice form Clark planet just to feel big enough to be with him. I still say Lois. Street smarts beat fake brawn anyday. Powers dont make you a stronger person. Even with them Lana is still the weakests person to ever grace Smallville.

I can't see Lois actually trying to kill Lana. Lana, on the other hand, well I'll just say "Wrath" was a good example of how aggressive and violent Lana can be.

In a fight without the Powersuit: Lois wins hands down.

In a fight with the Powersuit: Lana would sadly have the upper hand....but then again, this is a universe where non-powered guys like Green Arrow and Batman can use their brains and brawn to figure out ways to defeat super-powered entities. I think Lois is resourceful enough that she might be able to figure out a way to beat Powered-Lana, although Lana would definitely put up a tough fight.

And lots of people, including past writers of their comics, think Batman can beat up Superman. It's not simply about a character's popularity; there are factors like skill, cleverness and what works as a story. And I can pretty much guarantee that if Lois had to take on a superpowered Lana on TV or in comics, Lana would wind up having some sort of hidden weakness for Lois to discover. Same thing if Lois were alone with a supervillain for too long. The helpless, bullied damsel thing just does not sell with her character.
