Usually, even when storylines don't need Lana in them, TPTB find a way to sneak her in, but not this time...I was pleasantly surprised.

There's like 10 threads on Lana not being in it already. Here's what I posted in the others.

Clark Kent and Lex Luthor are the main characters. Everyone else is just a supporting character. They are used to help further develop the main characters into what they will become. In spite of how much some people may like Lana or Martha there is no reason for them to be in every episode. And yes they did sneak mention of her in at the beginning.

Hendo,

All I asked was: Is this the first episode without Lana in it? I am not a Lana hater.

Yes, I have seen all the episode from the Pilot to now.

Lana has always have a small part.

So I would say Yes This is the very first episode with out LANA

There has to be another Lana was not in. Was Lana in Lucy?

I would like to see an episode without Clark, one that stars other cast members, like Lois or Chloe. Just once, for a change of pace.

"Clark Kent and Lex Luthor are the main characters. Everyone else is just a supporting character."

If Clark and Lex are the two main Characters, then why does Lana's title always come before Lex's?????? I didn't like the fact that Lana wasn't in the ep, being the fact that at the end of thirst, she told clark that she missed being with him... Why don't they visit each other in Exposed, Clark was in Metropolis...

Not that I know off, I unless you can prove me wrong.

I know Lois has to be the love interest sooner or later (I'm hoping later) since I'm a big Clana fan and Lana is hot!!!

I do believe TPTB are paving the way for Miss Lane to enter Clark's thoughts and dreams later in life! ;)

I will not give up on the Chlark!!!!!

And it took mentions here on the board that I realized...yeah, Lana wasn't in it, was she??? Shows you how much I missed her

In all fairness, however, I did watch "Thirst" again last night and enjoyed every moment.....

Side Note: This was also the third episode in a row in which Lex was wearing that purple shirt. (Doesn't he change clothes anymore??
