Are TPTB implying Lois is better looking?

I know there are plenty of Lana haters out there and I know Lois will and be Clarks love interest in the future, but Cmon I really like the CLANA stuff.

Plus LANA is way hotter than Lois!

I'm not ready for it to end and be replace but the Lex/Lana/Clark love triangle. Then insert Lois to replace her.

i think it's just a popular song right now and TPTB, and the WB, are promoting The Pussycat Dolls album (you can buy it at the WB's website) :) i wouldn't read too much into the usage of the song :)

I think it was just one of the many currently popular songs that they play in every single episode. xD

I'm sorry, But it is going to end, because Clark is DESTINYED to become SUPERMAN. And THE REAL Original SUPER BIG THREE triangle is needed (SUPERMAN/Clark Kent, Lois Lane & Lex Luthor)

Lois Is and always will be (The SUPER BIG THREE) so their not inserting Lois to replace lana, they are bring (the Original) SUPER BIG THREE . lana isn't a part of the big three in the SUPERMAN Mythology and never will be.

Only in (the smallville tv, universe) lana is a member of the big three .

i like the song becuase it reminds me of emily vancamp of everwood fame, who is hotter than any of the smallville chicks ( though AM is pretty hot )

The song has burned a spot into my brain where it repeats the same line over and over again. And then I realize how much it plays in bars and at the bowling alley and in the car and it's just becoming too much LOL.

First of, don´t sweat it! The song ´Don´t cha wish your girlfriend is hot like me´, is a megahit right now, which is the reason why it ways played during the ´Loisstrip´, plus it´s a great song to strip to! I even bought a CD and I never buy CD´s based on the first or second single which happened to be good, cos you never know about the rest of the songs.
Secondly, Clois would be way premature at this point and it won´t happen for at least a couple of years! TPTB would be idiots if they allowed it to happen any sooner than that! So your Clana is safe for now and you will get to see the Lex/Lana/Clark triangle, cos that is the reason for the Clana breakup! I hope it happens soon, they are sickening to watch!:lol: :p
As for who is better looking, well that´s a subjective matter! But I would venture to say, that a lot more people tune in to watch Lois than Lana! I couldn´t care less, personally, I want them both gone from the show! Lana has been bugging me from the getgo, and Lois was never supposed to have been brought on the show!

Every time I hear it I'm disgusted.

I once heard that the song is actually about women being strong and independant. Everytime I think about that I laugh.

I'm not a fan of the song, but I thought it was pretty funny--and meant to be that way (the whole damn scene was hilarious, Lois is such a bad stripper! Hehe). I joked to my friend that Lois should be singing that to Clark. (Obviously I'm a huge Clois shipper and have been from the Pilot of Smallville.)

As for who's hotter, Lois or Lana, thats an OPINION, not a question with a definite answer. So get out of each other's faces.

You can add me to the list of people who dislikes this song....I couldn't even enjoy that part of the episode- as cute as Clark was - because that song was playing in the background...all I could think was, turn it off, turn it off; and then Lois' dance didn't even match the beat of the song (no one could strip to the beat!)--- ugh, it's just so aweful!!!! (...but at least we know they won't play the song on the show again...because the writer or music directors wouldn't be that cruel...right?)

---by the way, I know some people like the song - my Mom even says she likes the beat...so please don't take offense...I just can't stand it.....THERE! *sigh* I'm done venting :)

this song is about some stupid felacious woman trying to jack some poor girls boyfriend to one night stand him and leave him, the perfect song for a strip club, but personally i hate that F-ing song. i have like one line stuck in my line its like "i know you like me (i know you like me) i know you do (i know you do) cuz whenever i come around she's all over you"

i think lana is by far the hottest babe on the wb network not only on smallville. she definetly has a better body and face than lois. i think lana was defenitly better for the striper scene (exposed episode) than lois, lana has better body to show.and do not lie most of the people preffer lana than lois there is a site in where you can vote for who is the hottest in smallville ( lana was winning the last time i saw it so if you do not believe me just visit it)you can read wat other people say about who is hottest,you can express your self with images or simply say who is the hottest.the only problem is that for voting you have to register (for reading no) but dont worry it doesnot take too much time.the site is:

and all the clana haters we may see smallville ending with lana clark together, the writers can make a change in the story ( it will be great) some example of this change is that clark had to meet lois and lex until he comes to metropolis, lana had to be redhiared (but she is really hot like she is in smallville so we do not care) and lois had to be blackhaired, lex had to be a poor boy and then he we will have to become rich (no born rich).So they may change it. Well superkido, its a nice thought for you and other Lana lovers, but I guarantee it won't happen that way. Even though they can change the color of a character's hair in Smallville, doesn't mean they can change the character's destiny. Saying that Lana will be with Clark forever instead of Lois is like saying Clark will never become Superman, or Lex will never become evil. Even though Smallville can play around with the story in a creative aspect, there are three things that can NEVER be changed:

1. Clark Kent will become Superman.
2. Lex Luthor will become Superman's arch-nemesis.
3. Lois Lane is Clark Kent/Superman's one true love.

No matter how creative TPTB can get, these things can NEVER change. But if you'd like to see Lana and Clark together forever, you can always resort to fan fics! :)

There will always be people that prefer Lana, Lois or Chloe. It's a matter of personal opinion. I personally think that KK, ED and AM are 3 very beautifull women, but each one in her own type of beauty. I just want to add that Internet preferences are not the general public preference. One prove of that is that if anyone would believe what most of the people here think, these would be the general conclusion:

1)Chloe should be with Clark forever
2)Lana is the most boresome creature ever
3)Everyone hates Lois.

These 3 statements are not the general public opinion. In fact, Lois is one of the most popular characters, now in Smallville, that's why they put ED in the credits and why they used her to promote Ford Fusion. It would be stupid to use someone hated by everyone to promote something. She was featured in Smallville magazine more than once and I've seen the quote new public favorite more than once too. I'm not saying that she is THE most popular character, nor even that she is more popular than Lana or Chloe, but she is popular and not hated as lots of people say.

The same can be said about Lana. Maybe she is not loved here or in other sites, but the producers felt the public wanted to see Clark and Lana together, and they are probably right. I mean, they teased the public with the relationship for 3 years and 4 or 5 episodes (I'm not going to say 4 years, because last season we didn't see that much clana teasing, only in the final episodes), so the public wanted to see it. It's only natural. I'm not going to say the great majority wanted them to be together, because it's hard to say that, but there is a lot of people out there that wanted to finally see it.

I have the feeling that romantic chlark is not the universal truth among viewers either, but I can't prove it, because when it comes to specific ships, my source is Internet, which, as I said, doesn't reflect general public views and opinions. Let's just try not to make this extreme statements about what public prefer or not. The fact is, unless we can expend time and money doing a serious research about the topic, there is no way we can know it. We only know for sure our feelings and opinons. Let's try to respect everyones views.

That said, about the music, I don't think the writers wanted to say that Lois is hotter than Lana, but perhaps what they wanted to say was that someday Clark will think so, because he will be in love with her. It's always about foreshadowing. They wanted to show that Clark is atracted to Lois, in some level, and that one day he will find Lois hotter than Lana. That's all. Now, in his eyes Lana is hotter, in the future, he will think Lois is hotter.

I think the song is like a metaphor. It's not on who is hotter it's just foreshowding that Lois is better than Lana to Clark. I'm saying according to Clark, not us. If she weren't then he would have end up with Lana right?
