another bad episode?

the last 2 eps (aqua and thirst) i thought have been a bit boring

Looks like it will be good to me. I'll reserve my judgement until after I've seen it, but every episode has been entertaining enough for me so far. Season 5 is SOOOOO MUCH better than season 4 so far.

This season has been consistently as good if not better than all previous season up to this point in the episode numbers IMHO.

Personally I think it'll be a good non-mythology episode. There's no freak. It's got Wopat and eye candy for kiddies.

Sounds like fun TV.

If people go into the episode already thinking how much it will suck, chances are they won't enjoy it because they will search for flaws instead of enjoying the good stuff. Go in with an open mind, IMO. If the episode DOES suck *cough*Ageless*cough* then don't hesitate to shred it to pieces... :D

i've really loved this season so far. much better writing than last season. i'm excited about this episode :) bring it on...only 36 more mins :D

I LOVED Aqua and didn't think Thirst was so bad. This episode will probably suffer from no James Marsters, but I think it will be pretty good.

Oh I agree. Me too.

But as we Sville fans know, you can't have mythology ever week. All we can hope is the fillers aren't atrociously bad. And the fillers have been good to very good this year IMO.

I'm looking forward to this one very much. That police raid scene seems interesting. It always interesting to see scenes with Clark and that Metropolis cop. This will be the 3rd one. Too bad she didn't know that he went by the name of Kal in Exile. Maybe Lana could have overheard her calling Clark 'Kal' and this would have sparked something in her memory.

Zactly. Now it's our turn. And I won't rest, nay, I won't SLEEP, until we get to see Lana, Lois, and Chloe all in something equally as skimpy as what Lois was wearing tonight at the *same* time on the *same* screen. (And the Spell episode was not nearly skimpy enough, so not it doesn't count.)

However, in the interests of fairness, the ladies should get Clark, Return of Pete, and Lex all swimming together or perhaps in a steam room shirtless in nothing but trunks or towels.

Do not worry guys, seeing men shirtless will not make you "catch gay", so let's try to be fair here. ;)

Personally I loved everything about the episode, with execption of the opening scene where Jonathan Kent ask Clark how long he has his help to he goes back to Metropolis.

From there the dialogue confused me b/c I thought Clark would give dad a straight answer instead he goes on about Lana being absent and Chloe and Lois circumstances!

for me, the episode just had too many plot holes. while i do think i could stand to watch it again, it's definitley not one that i could watch 5 times in a row and not get sick of. personally i thought it was better than "thirst", and about the same as "aqua". so i think that this is another mediocre episode, it wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great either

The main thing we need to remember here is, even though these episodes have been lower quality than the first few of Season 5, even the mediocre ones are *way* better than most of Season 4.

yeah, season 4 was spoilt with all that witch nonsense.
aqua, thirst and exposed were just as bad, but im really looking forward to every ep frm now

dont forget, season four gave us transference - one of the best eps ever IMO. the season premiere + finale were also both good.

You took the words out of my brain! Transference was FANTASTIC!

...and though I don't read the spoilers, just looking at next week's trailer I can't wait for the rest of the season's episodes...Brainiac was the smartest cast addition that Smallville has ever made (so far...we'll see what else SV has in store for us!)

---oh yeah, I forgot to mention: I did like Aqua and Thirst...Exposed wasn't a complete disaster, and it was a bit more enjoyable the second time I watched it, but I think this is the first or second time I didn't initially favor an episode of SV.

So far the only episodes that I really like were the first 3. The rest of them have really sucked. Hopefully Splinter will be better because it looks better!

Oh, I know there were some good episodes in S4, that's why I said "most."

Transference and the Season Premiere + Finale were definitely awesome.

I don't agree that Aqua, Thirst, and especially not Exposed, were as bad as the Witch Arc, though. All three of these episodes have had their good moments and even some very nice character advancement, something almost all of the Witch Arc lacked.
