i think there will be mini dreams but not sure if they will actually make a big deal about his dreams causing the attracks and stuff. ya i like the hostpital scene but i bet they cut that out if not then im assuming nevilles parents would be in it and it will be a wink at whats to come in the last book since jkr said she wanted certian things in the movies since they all make sense at the end so i dont know.
ya i think they will cut out the whole story about the marauders they might just say something like when sirius and lupin are together they mention how they were all friends and they call themselves the marauders but wont go into the story of the map and all of that. but they may just call themselves that in snapes memory thing. ya the quditch story is cut out i think. i heard most of the ron stuff was cut out too. and seeing how his role in the book was to be on the quidtich team and stuff then i can see why they cut him out a lot.
i also wonder how harry would find the room of requirments because he was supposed to find that in the 4th movie with help from dooby and he practiced for the tournament in there instead of the prefects bathroom. maybe hermione or someone says that heard of this room and its good for practice or something. cause they also need that room for the half blood prince with dracos secret mission.
ron hermonie kiss? i dont remember that from the book. you sure u dont mean harry and cho?
o ya im also hoping when the dvd comes out it uses a different cover art image then the movie poster for the movie cause its like the one for goblet of fire where they are all standing and looks like they just removed those other 3 people and added 4 more.

quote: “good luck, ron,” said Hermione, standing on tiptoe and kissing him on the cheek;)
i read that the bellatrix actress only had five lines to say during the entire filming process and two of those lines were cut.
superhippie2000
05-05-2007, 04:25 PM
o ok i thought u ment a real kiss like harry and cho.
well i dont mind her having less lines she is just supposed to be there and fight. doesnt she have more of a part in half blood prince.

I too saw the trailer during Spider-Man 3 and it was awesome. It went about two and a half minutes long, but I'm really looking forward to this movie.

yeah it is not a real kiss but it was so cute....
you are right bellatrix is supposed to fight....SPOILER!! and to kill sirius ;) is this a spoiler? I mean, there are people who didn't read the book.
I read that the last 20 minutes of the movie will be 3D. that's so cool:lol: but is it not too scary for the children? I mean, there are death eaters and voldemort appears.
superhippie2000
05-06-2007, 03:22 PM
o ya i think i heard it will be partly in 3d too but thats only for imax theaters and wouldnt be in normal theaters or the dvd.
ya u might want to use tags for that. could be kind of pushing it incase someone hasnt read the book. plus thats a big thing.
They showed a preview for HP when I went to see Spidey on the IMAX. Seriously - the movie looks so much better on IMAX - especially any flight scenes. If there's an IMAX near you I'd see it there first then go see it elsewhere. imo.
superhippie2000
05-06-2007, 05:55 PM
i bet it would look awesome in imax. not sure how close the nearest imax is from me but there is a theater (not imax) that has like jumbo screens but i hate that theater too many people and it just feels weird.
someone i know said she went to see spidey with her sister and her sister only went cause of the harry potter preview and they didnt have it and instead showed fantastic 4 3 times. someone screwed up.

its offical the movie is rated pg 13
piretloveschlark
05-10-2007, 11:46 AM
yeah...I think it should be rated nc-17  voldemort and the death eaters are too scary, IMO.
superhippie2000
05-10-2007, 01:38 PM
wow nc 17 then they must being going crazy with blood and guts. they dont even put nc 17 in normal theaters i dont think so if they made potter that then it wont make any money lol. the battle scene would be violent but i doubt they will show any blood just falling into stuff. why is it when anyone dies in the books or close to it they just get zapped or a little tiny skin puncture. ya its a kids book and a some what kids movie but i wish we saw people explode and limbs flying off and blood splattering all over the place.

 :rotfl: that would be cool;) yeah, hp is a kids book and kids movie but they will be scared about the next movie, IMO. I saw a little girl crying in a theater. she was so scared about the dementors in hp3.
superhippie2000
05-10-2007, 03:47 PM
ya i think seeing it is scarier then reading cause reading u have a different picture of them in your head and stuff. im glad they are keeping the dementor attacking dudely. that will be good.

they are starting to work on HBP. they said it will start filming in a couple of months and they are scouting locations of mountians and cliffs and stuff. which i could only guess is that scene with harry and dumbldore going into the cave and trying to get the watch from the goblet.
piretloveschlark
05-27-2007, 03:15 PM
very interesting and I agree.... man, ootp will be 138 mins long...too short, IMO. :(
superhippie2000
05-27-2007, 04:10 PM
ya i hate short movies even tho it is long. like 2 hours and 20 minutes is too short for a movie like this. they better atleast make the last movie really long since one it looks like it will be the longest book and second its the last and we deserve atleast one potter movie to be close to the 3 hour mark.
piretloveschlark
05-27-2007, 04:48 PM
I couldn't agree more!! we deserve it. really? I mean, the last book is the longest book? I didn't know that!! cool.
superhippie2000
05-27-2007, 05:45 PM
ya i think the longest so far was like 600 something right? this last one is 700 something i believe.

ya he is a good director. would be cool if he came back and did the last movie or something.
i would think tim burton would be a good director for one of the movies but it would probably comre out really weird looking like all of his other movies and weird isnt what harry potter goes for lol.

JKR announces 'Deathly Hallows' plans!
Jo Rowling has updated her website with her plans for the release of Book 7. According to Bloomsbury:
To celebrate the publication of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows on 21st July 2007, J.K. Rowling will be signing the night away at the Natural History Museum in London.
Ten years after publication of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, the launch of this, the final book in the series, returns to where it all began: with a book, the author and her readers.
1,700 fans will have the opportunity to meet J.K. Rowling and have their book signed at the Natural History Museum. The first 500 randomly selected winners will attend the midnight reading with J.K. Rowling. The subsequent signing is expected to last until dawn. Every ticket holder will receive a free book from Bloomsbury Publishing.
Tickets to the event are free and will be available by online draw from 23rd May. The deadline for applicants is 11th June. To apply for tickets visit Bloomsbury's website.
US residents can apply at scholastic.com. Other English-speaking publishers may also be allotted tickets; keep an eye on their websites. (for the US).
Jo says, "It has been a long time since I've done a signing and had the chance to speak to readers individually, so I'm delighted that we are launching the book in this way. It will be wonderful for me to get the chance to speak to people who have already read a few chapters while in the queue!
"Good luck if you're applying for tickets, and if you're successful, I'll see you shortly after midnight on July 21st!"
Potter trio to be honored after US OOTP premiere
Warner Brothers has announced that actors Dan Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint will all be participating in a "hand, foot, and wand" ceremony at Grauman's Chinese Theater in Los Angeles, California, on July 9th. From the press release:
WHAT: DANIEL RADCLIFFE, RUPERT GRINT AND EMMA WATSON will be immortalized at one of Hollywood's most famous landmarks when they place their hands, feet and wands in cement in the forecourt of the world-famous Grauman's Chinese Theatre.
Many world famous actors have had the privilege of printing their hands and feet into concrete out front of the theater. MuggleNet will be covering this special event, and we hope to bring you pictures and a report!
OOTP 138 mins long
The British Board of Film Classification has revealed that the fifth Harry Potter movie will be 138 minutes long. Also, the movie will be rated 12A in the UK and PG-13 in the US (as we reported previously).
Scotland now under consideration for HBP filming
The Scotsman is reporting that Warner Brothers is looking into several locations in Scotland for Half-Blood Prince:
Warner Bros, which is preparing to shoot Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince, has sent an executive to the cliffs and caves around Cape Wrath, and also to a sea cave close to the Whaligoe Steps near Wick, and has been in talks over filming in the north.
The producers are interested in using the caves and cliffs as part of the dramatic climax of the new film - the sixth in the series - in which the heroes wind their way along a sea-lashed coastline in search of the soul of the evil Lord Voldemort.
Sue Quinn, a London-based locations manager with Warner Bros, travelled to Scotland last month, taking a boat trip from Lochinver around Cape Wrath towards Durness, and then heading to Wick to check out the shore and caves at Whaligoe, near Lybster.

I think it's cool that Dan, Rupert and Emma get to be "immortalized"
As for the movie being 138min long, i would of thought it to be longer.
Afterall OOTP is the longest book.
Hopefully it'll be really good.

Universal Studios to open Harry Potter theme park!

Official Concept Art:
Hogwarts | Hogsmeade | Owl's View of Park | Logo
Latest Developments (10 AM EST):
- Official park website now open; visitors can sign up for e-mail updates.
- JK Rowling: "The plans I’ve seen look incredibly exciting, and I don’t think fans of the books or films will be disappointed."
Universal Studios and Warner Brothers made a joint announcement this evening from Leavesden Studios on the set of Dumbledore's Office to reveal that a Harry Potter theme park is currently in development. The image to the left is the first piece of concept art for the park: Hogsmeade Village.
Here's what we learned from Potter set designer Stuart Craig and a representative from Universal Studios (both of them hosted the big reveal):
- "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resort"
- Announcement was made live via internet at 12:01 AM EST today to select media, including MuggleNet.
- Areas of park to include Hogsmeade, Hogwarts Castle, and the Forbidden Forest.
- 20 engineers working on project.
- Universal came to WB looking for authenticity.
- Potter park to be built in "Islands of Adventure" area of Universal.
- Stuart wants to "take his grandchildren" to the park.
- Opening early 2010.
- Universal's Potter website to be available at this link.
- JK Rowling has been involved "since the very beginning" of the project. Also "supportive and encouraging."
- Stuart thinks that the park will be better off in the United States.
- Have been in design "for at least a year and a half."
- "Important that the theme park represents the entire saga from Book 1 to Book 7"
In a rather cute way to end the announcement, the Universal representative asks Stuart Craig, "Now where's Dumbledore?" Stuart paused for a moment, looked around the office, and replied, "He was just here."

Theme park to cost upwards of $265 million
As we first reported the other day, Warner Brothers and Universal have announced plans to build a Harry Potter theme park in Universal Studios Florida. The Sun Sentinel is now reporting that the whole project will cost between $230 and $265 million:
Universal intends to spend $230 million to $265 million to create "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter" at Islands of Adventure along with a previously announced Simpsons attraction, according to a filing Thursday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
This year alone, the expenditure is expected to reach from $75 million to $85 million, the filing said.
The article includes some more details on the deal as well. Universal must pay Warner Brothers undisclosed licensing fees and the current deal lasts for 10 years (with two optional 5-year extensions).

Missing girl bookmarks in 'Deathly Hallows'?
According to a new report today, Jo Rowling may have bookmarks, bearing the face of missing UK child Madeleine McCann, placed in each copy of the British Deathly Hallows.
Madeleine's father says, "There has been some indirect contact with her. We are thinking about getting bookmarks with Madeleine's photographs and getting the author's agreement. Someone like JK Rowling has got massive appeal and a Harry Potter book would be ideal."

The official Order of the Phoenix website now features a brand new Death Eaters area which allows you to view masks from the film and create your own! From Warner Brothers:
To get started, download the ‘Death Eater Art Kit’ which contains some items you might find useful, or create your work entirely from scratch. Register to post your artwork on the site. Your art can be rated, downloaded, embedded on your blog or you can send it to a friend.
Upon download, we learned that the Art Kit includes lots of templates, textures, borders, and frames! Definitely a cool little package to use if you want to make your own mask

Heyman talks end of Potter
In a new interview, Harry Potter movie producer David Heyman discusses how he "can't wait" for the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. On his life post-Potter, he says:
"It's a combination of sadness and excitement, I think—for Jo, and for all of us. This world has become a huge part of millions and millions of people's lives. We all love it so much, and I think, afterward, there will be a little hole in our lives for a while."
Newsweek
June 18, 2007 issue - Unlike, say, "pirates of the Caribbean," the "Harry Potter" films have gotten better over time. The person who deserves most of the credit (aside from author J. K. Rowling) is someone you've probably never heard of. David Heyman bought the film rights to the "Potter" series in 1997 and has been the principal producer ever since, steering a franchise that's grossed more than $3.5 billion. The fifth, "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," opens July 11. The seventh and final book, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," lands on July 21. "I love that I've been doing this nonstop for 10 years and I still don't know how this story ends," Heyman, 45, told NEWSWEEK. "I can't wait!"
Seven installments offer a million opportunities to go wrong. Bad casting. Lame special effects. Fame. Greed. Puberty. Heyman has so far managed to avoid it all. (OK, not puberty.) "I wish I could tell you it was all some great master plan," he says. One important step: a promise he has kept for a decade. Heyman was the only serious bidder for the rights to Rowling's book, and though he had little clout at Warner Bros. at the time, "I promised her that I would protect what she had created," he says. "Jo is a wonderful woman, but she's no pansy," says Warner Bros. COO Alan Horn. "She's tough, and she has good antennae. If David Heyman were not an absolutely first-class person, he would not have sustained that relationship with her."
Heyman still marvels at Rowling's mind. A scene in "Phoenix" features a tapestry embroidered with the ancestors of Harry's godfather, Sirius Black. The book mentions a few names, but the filmmakers needed to make the whole thing. "So I e-mailed Jo and asked her if she could give us a few more names," Heyman says. "About 15 minutes later we received a family tree that goes back six generations with names, birthdates, family crests, a motto. It was all in her head."
Hiring a string of surprising directors—Alfonso Cuarón ("Y Tu Mamá También"), Mike Newell ("Four Weddings and a Funeral"), David Yates ("Sex Traffic")—has given the films critical cachet and kept them fresh. "There's continuity, of course, but we've encouraged each director to make a film that is his own," Heyman says. But most important, he helped cast—and guide—the films' three child stars, Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson. Now young adults, all have signed on to make the final two films—and not one has been involved in a scandal. How many American child stars can you say that about? Heyman credits the kids' own parents, but he's been careful to keep the atmosphere on set relatively low-key, and to encourage them to pursue other interests. Radcliffe recently made his (fully frontal) stage debut in "Equus." "They don't need the money, so their decisions are about experience and what they want to do with their lives," Heyman says.
And his own life, post-"Potter"? "It's a combination of sadness and excitement, I think—for Jo, and for all of us," he says. "This world has become a huge part of millions and millions of people's lives. We all love it so much, and I think, afterward, there will be a little hole in our lives for a while."

Watson Plays Down "Stalker" Reports
Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix actress Emma Watson has played down reports she lived in fear for her life after a male stalker started talking to her at school. The 17-year-old star was alarmed when a man in his 20s - who cannot be named for legal reasons - managed to enter her English school and started talking to her about playing Hermione Granger in the wizard movies. However, Watson says it wasn't as serious as the British press had reported. She says, "That stalker stuff was exaggerated. To be honest, my friends were more freaked out that I was. I'm used to it. My friends were quite shocked by how blase I was about it."

Dan on the 'Today Show'
Earlier today Daniel Radcliffe appeared on NBC's The Today Show. He talked about Order of the Phoenix and what he thought would happen to Harry in the final book.
"I think I might die in it, but that’s just my prediction. I think so, but I’ve no idea at all; I have no inside hints."
The trio has a number of appearances planned throughout the upcoming week. On July 7th and the 14th, Dan, Emma, and Rupert will appear on Pogo TV in India. Interviews with the trio will also be shown on the Reelz Channel on Sunday, July 8th. July 9th Dan will be on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and on July 11th he will appear on Late Night with Conan O'Brien. On July 12th, Emma Watson will be a guest on the Live with Regis and Kelly show. Also on July 12th, the trio will make an appearance on The Sauce on the Fuse channel.
Last word of Book 7 no longer 'scar'
The BBC has posted some more details on JK Rowling's interview with Jonathan Ross, which was recorded yesterday but which will air tonight.
When asked about whether "scar" was the last word in the book as had been reported, she said: "Scar? It was so for ages, and now it's not. Scar is quite near the end, but it's not the last word."
She also talked about Dan, Rupert, and Emma: "It's a weird relationship. It's a peculiar feeling, parental, and yet there's this place where you're inhabiting the same characters... strangely intense from my point of view... to keep it all British has been a hell of an achievement."
JKR: I 'absolutely howled' when finishing Book 7
An interview with JK Rowling is set to appear on the Jonathan Ross show which begins tonight at 10:35 on BBC One. The Telegraph has posted a preview of this interview (which was recorded yesterday), where they quote her as saying:
"Finishing the book is a relief. I can't think of anyone who could know how I felt. Actually finishing it was the most remarkable feeling I've ever had... [I felt] euphoria, devastated, when I finished one chapter near the end I absolutely howled, it had been planned for so long.
"I was in a hotel room on my own, sobbing my heart out. I downed half a bottle of champagne in one and went home with mascara all over my face. It was really tough."
Stephen King talks about the end of Potter
Author Stephen King has written a column for EW about the end of the Harry Potter series.
When it comes to Harry, part of me — a fairly large part, actually — can hardly bear to say goodbye. I’d guess that J.K. Rowling feels the same, although I’d also guess those feelings are mingled with the relief of knowing that the work is finally done, for better or worse.
My advice to families containing Harry Potter readers: Stock up on the Kleenex. You’re gonna need it. It’s all made worse by one unavoidable fact: It’s not just Harry. It’s time to say goodbye to the whole cast, from Moaning Myrtle to Scabbers the rat (a.k.a. Wormtail). Which leads to an interesting question — will the final volume satisfy Harry’s longtime (and very devoted) readers?
Last Reel of 'Phoenix' To Screen in 3-D at IMAX Houses
Moviegoers attending screenings of the upcoming Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in IMAX theaters will be able to view the last 20 minutes of the movie in 3-D, the New York Post reported today (Friday), citing Veronika Kwan-Rubinek of Warner Bros. International. The process is similar to the one used in IMAX screenings of last year's Superman Returns and requires a painstaking frame-by-frame conversion.
Movie Reviews: 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix'
Following overseas premieres in Tokyo, London and Paris for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, the first reviews have begun to trickle in. (The film officially opens in North America and Europe on July 11.) They are less than ecstatic. In the London Telegraph, reporter Charles Frederick writes that Harry has become "a bundle of adolescent anxieties. ... And that much-anticipated kiss with his fellow pupil Cho [Chang] might put people off. It lingers just a bit too long and there is not enough chemistry." However, Frederick offers this advice. "To dwell on a few weaknesses would be to neglect the obvious point -- that Harry Potter is older, bigger and darker than ever. And no one would want to miss his journey." But Leo Lewis in the London Times says he was left "faintly annoyed" to realize that the ending of Harry's story is still two movies in the future. "There are moments when this otherwise enjoyable film, though nicely made and through no fault of its own, feels like a chore to be got through before the main course," he writes. Alison Maloney in the Sun likewise suggest that "there could be a risk of Potter fatigue. ...There is a danger some of the Hogwarts magic could finally be wearing off."

superhippie2000

They may have casting calls in news papers and stuff. I think they film at levingston studios atleast thats where they used to film parts i think so you can always check out the production companies site or something. I dont think they hire extras till they are needed or something seeing how extras dont do anything but walk in the background. Seeing how most extras are students you would probably need to be between 12 and 20 or atleast look like it.
I heard someone mention that Order of the Phoenix will be out opn DVD November 20th. But since i didnt find it on any of the DVD news sites i go to i wouldnt take it seriously yet. although based on past movies chances are that it will come out the 13th or 20th of November.

I dont know just one of my myspace friends heard from a friend that was when they will release it. It make sense but until i see it on one of the dvd news sites i go to i cant be 100 percent. Im pretty sure they will have 2 discs and have deleted scenes and behind the scenes stuff like they normally do. hopefully this time they give only 2 disc and not bother with single disc seeing how with goblet of fire people were really mad when they baught the single thinking it was double.

I got the 2 disc. i always need 2 discs of everything lol. I dont know would be cool if they had gag reels but they never have before. I would enjoy the gag reels if they had them. maybe one day after all 7 movies are out on dvd they can release another 2 disc dvd with much more bonus features. that would be cool.

I watched Goblet of Fire the other night since I hadn't seen it in awhile, and I must say, the scene in the graveyard got to me a lot more now than on first viewing. The way wormtail killed Cedric without thinking twice about it, the scene where Voldemort and Harry had a duel, and the spirit (?) of his parents and Cedric was awesome. His parents telling him to let go, and Cedric telling him to take his body to his father...great stuff.
I think what really hit home was when they got back, and it took a moment for everyone to realize Cedric wasn't getting up. Dumbledore's eulogy at the end was great as well.
Overall, this was probably my favorite movie of the series. It was beautifully shot (I have more respect for the Yule Ball), and the acting was really well done.
Question though...at the end, Hermione says something to the effect that everything is about to change or going to change...but I wasn't sure if she meant that these kids are growing up, or with Voldemort's return, everything is about to change?
One last comment...I am changing my stance regarding Harry and Hermione. I'm a H/H shipper, but after watching Order of the Phoenix and re-watching Goblet of Fire, I definitely got the sense that Hermione's taking on a maternal role with Harry. Seems like she's extra careful with him, and holds him to a higher regard. The talks these two had in between the games ("I'm scared for you") and that talk that they had in the tent before he went on to face the dragon, the way she seems to hold his arm back during the scene with the Malfoys at the World Cup, as well as when they are all huddled together. I dunno, am I over analyzing it?

Well I kinda thought so with a name like that lol.
They said when she announced it to a live audience there were loud gasps-and some cheering as well.
And what about Quidditch-that is definately a gay game.Makes no sense-dosent matter if its 100-0 if someone catches the Snitch its over lol.
I suppose I should add I am not putting anyone down-I for 1 have no prejudices-I am just joking-so please chill
I am actually a big HP fan
My fav film is Prisoner of Azkaban

What relevance does dumbledore's sexuality have to the story? And where did she say that anyway? Or am I missing a joke?

No its true-she announced it just the other day.Heres the article;
Harry Potter fans, the rumors are true: Albus Dumbledore, master wizard and Headmaster of Hogwarts, is gay. J.K. Rowling, author of the mega-selling fantasy series that ended last summer, outed the beloved character Friday night while appearing before a full house at Carnegie Hall.
After reading briefly from the final book, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," she took questions from audience members.
She was asked by one young fan whether Dumbledore finds "true love."
"Dumbledore is gay," the author responded to gasps and applause.
She then explained that Dumbledore was smitten with rival Gellert Grindelwald, whom he defeated long ago in a battle between good and bad wizards. "Falling in love can blind us to an extent," Rowling said of Dumbledore's feelings, adding that Dumbledore was "horribly, terribly let down."
Dumbledore's love, she observed, was his "great tragedy."

superhippie2000
10-20-2007, 04:39 PM
it has nothing to do with the story. its just that there is more to the story that she never wrote. i heard she will be writing another book the fills in the storyline of what everyone else is doing.
ok i dont get it a fan asks will dumbledore find true love. they do know he is dead right?

I think JK is writing an encyclopedia, not a book...which, well it could be the same thing. We'll see.
Kinda hope they make a movie out of it as well, lol, at least with a plot. Kinda sucks we're nearing the end here.
superhippie2000
10-20-2007, 06:06 PM
ya i thinks its more of blurbs about what happened to each character and stuff.
would be cool if they made that a movie but maybe they will wind up doing webisodes or something and release them on dvd. plus who knows by the time they write this up and stuff it will be a few years in the future and the movie or whatever they could do with it they can use the same actors seeing how it may take 20 years before they do it lol.
i hope for the last movie they keep that ending in it. like make it a PS at the end of the credits cause it sounds like it could be one.

10-20-2007, 06:45 PM
Same thing they did with Lord of the Rings, or the last one at least. Didn't they show Sam with kids or something?
Speaking of stuff being left in or out, I saw the deleted scenes of Goblet of Fire, and wow...at least half of the scenes that were cut should have made the movie. The biggest one, IMO, was Hogwarts singing the school song. When Hermione and Ron were singing it in the woods, (the scene where Harry finds Barty), it made no sense. Why was Ron singing? But then I see the deleted scenes, and the whole sang the song. That should have been kept in, as well as one of the Yule Ball scenes where Harry catches Snape and Igor talking outside, while Snape was looking for kids making out. Pretty funny scene actually.
superhippie2000
10-20-2007, 06:58 PM
ya something like that. where they showed them in the future.
ya they should have kept atleast the snape convo and stuff cause that was a big part showing that snape was a death eater. the scene they kept with that didnt make it obvious.
Breaking in to the flow a bit - but I finally finished the last book. Took me a bit to find the time to read it but once I did start I breezed right through it. Have to say it wasn't bad at all - I rather enjoyed it quite a bit and the way she went with the characters was how I was figuring she'd go anyway. Tied everything up with a little bow.
So happy now that I can FINALLY read all the mags, blogs and posts about that book now lol......

It's pretty surreal, the whole Harry Potter stuff. I had no clue what it was until 2005 (yeah I know, silly me). Never read the books until the 6th one, bought the first 3 movies in a gift set (blind buy), bought the 4th the day it came out.
It's also the highest grossing series of all time, beating out Star Wars (IIRC).

Didnt know that -u mean the 5 HP films have grossed more then the 6 Star Wars films?Or are u including books too?And if it is just films is that adjusted for ticket prices from the 70s-80s?I would be abit surprised because of the religous objectors who prob havent seen it-thruout the world-but then again if u look at Star Wars what is the Force anyway but some kind of mysticism?

Here it is: http://news.bbc.co.uk/cbbcnews/hi/newsid_6980000/newsid_6989800/6989823.stm.
Potter has taken in about $2.2 billion, while Star Wars (if adjusted for inflation, includes Episodes 1-3 and the original) would be around $2.46 billion, probably more with Return of the Jedi and the other movie. That's w/inflation, but raw numbers and Potter beats it out.

Its just an expression basically-surprised u never heard it b4-funny thing I was just reading a newspaper review about a Halloween show and here is a part of it;
'On second thought, don't - you'd miss too much other vintage oddity. Such as a desert sheik sketch with Lynde as the dashing Florence of Arabia, lusting after Henderson as Lady Cecily Westinghouse, a "Westinghouse frigid-heiress." (Say it aloud.)
How gay can it get? Well, the closing credits reveal Bruce Vilanch among the writers. So. Pretty gay indeed'.

No she's not, not even close. She's the 13th richest woman. Lady Green is the richest, you've got people like Slavica Ecclestone and Jackie Gold well in front of her fortune.

I suppose thats a sign of a good writer when u dont expect things that happen. This news however dosent seem to matter to the overall story-now take COS-when Tom Riddle turns out to be Voldermort-that was shocking lol-or Scabbers being Peter Petigrew in POA-I do wonder how it may affect the next 2 films-if the audience may look at him differently.I didnt read Deathly Hollows but isnt there a scene where Harry visits with Dumbledore and he isnt wearing anything? Now that could provide some snickers from the crowd lol.
I couldn't believe Dumbledore was gay. I always thought he was boffing McGonagall ;)

'Harry Potter was the center of seven novels, but he'll star in eight films.
"Producers are expected to announce Thursday that J.K. Rowling's last "Potter" installment, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," will be split into two parts on the big screen. The first film is slated for release in November 2010, with part two following in May 2011.
It was born out of purely creative reasons," producer David Heyman told the Times. "Unlike every other book, you cannot remove elements of this book."
The two final "Potter" films will be shot concurrently,

Are you telling me that they are going to release 3 films in 4 years. I mean even if the final two are shot at the same time it is going to take forever. Plus they are probably going to keep Dan, Rupert and Emma in all three. Please don't call them "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" part one and two that would just get confusing. So I guess the question becomes what will the second part be called?

'Harry Potter producers have banned star Daniel Radcliffe from smoking in public, fearing it will harm the franchise's image, The Sun claims. The 18-year-old actor has reportedly been dubbed "Harry Puffer" due to his 20-a-day cigarette habit. Radcliffe's co-star Rupert Grint has allegedly been urging him to give up.An insider revealed: "Every time they call 'Cut', he lights up.
London, Mar 15 : A series of mishaps on the set of the final Harry Potter film 'The Deathly Hallows' has made the actors working on it believe that the project is cursed.
The latest mishap happened on March 12, when shooting had to be cancelled after the set was battered by storms.Apart from this, Daniel Radcliffe, who plays the boy wizard in the series, has been receiving death threats from a stalker. The teenage sensation also had to perform a daring stunt for a scene, when his double failed to turn up. The scene involved him being yanked out from a burning building by a wire attached to a 100ft crane.Furthermore, filming at Farnham, Surrey had to be halted due to the streakers and mistakes that were caused by the special-effects fog. Actors are feeling the movie is jinxed," The Sun quoted an insider as saying.""As this is the final Harry Potter film, dark forces are at work to prevent us finishing," the insider added.
