Does Professor Fine know about Clark's origins?

A part of me doesn't think he knows Clark's secret, but at the same time he seems to have zeroed in on Clark for some reason.

Maybe Clark has that universal "sucker" look and Fine feels he can very easily manipulate the lad?

I think its a safe bet to assume that Brainiac knows Clark's true origin. He is just studying him and calculating his approach to get what he wants.

Fine/Brainiac definitely knows that Carlos is Kal El.

And like any superior intellect, he's simply taking a systematically measured approach in attempting to both assess Carlos and potentially enlist him as an ally. Do you think it's just a coincidence that Brainiac is teaching Carlos' class and getting him to be an assistant? Of course not--it's a calculated maneuver in Fine's larger plans.
