Kind of funny in my mind since the new movie comes out next week. (Not Warner produced but very funny.)

The scene was a riot...Chloe looked all sweet and innocent, what was she dressed as?

She definitely steered Clarklos away from Bela Lanagosi, not sure is jealous or protective there?

And Clark's comment about "I like the cape" was a scream.....

all i know is when i first saw him, i laughed my ass off, i dunno why it was so funny, it just was! as soon as the door opens, i was done haha

I thought it was cleverly used as a prop to help explain why he chooses his future outfit.

He liked the cape part of Zoro's outfit but felt the mask interfered with his vision.

Yeah me too. The mask was a bit messed up I think.

Yeah, it was funny that it looked like Warner Bros was publicizing Sony's Zorro movie... but I guess their only options for Clark were Harry Potter or Edward R. Murrow...!

Someone mentioned that he should have had a sword. It would have been cool if he wore the foil Lex gave him in Stray (I think). Granted, he would have had to run back to Smallville to get it, but apparently that only takes a few seconds anyway right?

That would have been a cool idea!

He did look really good.....it was also a little nod to Batman - Batman was just released this week on dvd too wasn't it?

very cute indeed ... he was even flirting with the girl at the door if you ask me ....

He flirted a lot.......then going inside Chloe side steps him due to Lana and that guy..........was too funny. One line that also made me laugh was when Chloe said we can get in......Halloween Party, and Clark said I hate costumes. Then stated he kind of liked the cape..........

See I thought it was more than a little nod to Batman as it was after watching the Tyrone Power "Mark of Zorro" film that the Wayne's were murdered.

Yeah I loved that! More of a subtle references with the "Superman has no mask" thing. ;)

I thought he looked great. Then again...Tom Welling really looks great in whatever he's wearing. Loved the part about the cape and the mask.

I think that he was only flirting with the girl at the door because don't vampire type people have this thing where they can make anyone attracted to them?....idk, i saw it in some movie..maybe he was just trying to get into the party?..or maybe it was real. oh well, guess we'll never know for sure

The scene was very amusing and very charming. The whole I like the cape thing was a riot. I hate to admit that as rediculos as this story was I found it as enjoyable and fun as any episode I have seen.

I wouldn't want them all to be this way, but it was a lot of fun.

I thought it was funny about him complaining that he couldn't see well in the mask. He has X-Ray vision!

I thought it was funny that he went as zorro and that it was a nod to batman and why he chooses no mask as supers.

If he hadn't gone as Zorro he wouldn't have had the mask on and would've seen his woman steppin' out.

All about Clark
10-28-2005, 01:36 PM
Yes it was cute, maybe because he has big eyes and the mask had small eyeholes.

c'mon Clark...Zorro?:o...why not dress up as Superman or Batman??

I thought the mask was super huge...

Alright so I have this thing for superheros and Zorro is one of them. I used to be addicted to the show they had on the family channel back in the late 80's maybe early 90's and I thought he was just absoulely hot.

Well... Tom's Zorro scorched my tv and I think he was totally hot.

It brought out his best features, his lips and eyes LOL

TPTB had to choose something that was not from the DC universe, as they are "in" it. Superman/Batman comics don't exist in Smallville. Somehow, I don't see Clark dressing up as Spiderman, so Zorro was a good choice. Chloe was hot, BTW.

Clark as Zorro made me hit the floor laughing! he looked absolutely ridiculous.

At least he came out of his plaid!!!

I liked how Clark was saying how he liked the cape, but kept complaining about the mask.
In the older seasons, there would only be one or two uses of foreshadowing here and there, now it plays a significant role in the episodes. They had the whole Chloe up up and away, the Lex telling Clark "be careful, I dont think Fine is the friend you think he is", and they also had Fine asking Clark if he would be strong enough to face a powerful man who threatened everything.

Actually, funny story.

This year, I promised myself not to dress up as Superman, or Clark Kent for my annual Hallowe'en party at my unit ... and to go as Zorro. But now that Clark has done it, I guess that I will not break the cicle of dressing up like "Superman" did.

I miss that Zorro show. It needs a DVD release (along with the old Disney/Guy Williams Zorro). When that show was on Family Channel, that was a cool time for TV, especially around the holidays. :( I miss it. I also remember a short-lived show from when I was really young (in the 80's) called "Zorro and Son."

MCTurbo, I did notice! Yeah, the cape had red lining, too funny.

BTW... does anyone have a pic of Clark as Zorro? I would kill for one about now~! :p

Aside from the Zorro=Batman reference, I thought it interesting that Lana dressed up in a cat costume, ie Catwoman. Batman and Catwoman; 2 people who have their romance complicated by their circumstances. Much like Clark and Lana. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but it would be cool if thats the idea the writers had.

I was thinking the same thing! Great episode! Carlos was very sexy in this episode, don't you agree? Both of their outfits weren't "them" but they were hilarious. And it was pretty nice to see Clark in something besides plaid. But I"ll take him anyway he comes! ;)

I think Clark looked cool as Zorro but it would have been better if he dressed up as Warrior angel from Ryans comic

Straight male here, so I'm afraid I can't agree about Clark looking sexy, ha. I did enjoy Chloe's costume though! And I usually don't go for devil costumes, but Buffy's was dang hot!

"Carlos" was extremely hot as Zorro. Just the right costume, if you ask me. I also liked the added comment by Chloe towards "Carlos" about his cape. And his response? "I like the cape." :D

I'm not sure, but in the origin of Batman (the comic book), wasn't the movie that was playing have something to do with Zorro? You know.....when they left the theater, and his parents were murdered. That's why I took the Zorro costume to be a knod to Batman......what the heck...even without it being connected to Batman's origin.....it's still a great knod. But I would still like to know if anyone has the answer.
