When Chloe and Clark where at that dude's house in Blank (the guy who was able to erase memory) the father said he didn't know where his son was. As Clark and Chloe were walking back to the car, Clark said he heard something but Chloe couldn't hear it. Chloe told Clark to run, but he ended up running past the guy on the bike and ending up in a cattle field. Best way I can describe it.
