I'd like to know too. The showing of Thirst was postponed to sat nite because of a baskekball game!!! The local WB channel that did the postponing has (1) normal broadcasting (2) HD broadcasting (3) cable transmission (4) satellite transmission.

Forgive me, but you would THINK they could figure out how to provide both programs simultaneously and not have to pre-empt a prime time highly rated weekly program like Smallville every time a basketball game is also to be broadcast.

They used to do that all the time with BTVS and ANGEL too. I think the U.S. is way behind Europe and Japan when it comes to technical saavy and service in both television and certainly cell phone service. Nobody here realizes just how far behind this country is especially with the latter because when we see it it's new to us and everybody ooh's and ahh's but in reality, many other countries are way ahead of us.

Ok. Rant over. Composure regained. I shall read a book now.
