i like how the lois character was still herself even in the face of an episode's romance. she didn't suddenly go ga-ga over the cute-guy-otw, it took a little bit of coercing. this is the kind of relationship that i wouldn't mind seeing more of in the season, compared to a lana relationship with anyone else in the last 4 seasons.

i say this because in all the years of not being with clark, lana says "clark has always been the one for her" in last week's episode....no i didnt see that lana. instead she seemed to be all agreeable for everyone else except clark.

I also thought it was well-done. Aquaman has always been a confident hero, and post-Crisis they really geared him to be arrogant even. I thought his role as a young jock was appropriate, and I know too many women really fall for handsome-looking bad boys. Lois is headstrong and, well, there are enough descriptors for her, but she's not the type to fall for shy silent guys (sorry Clark). So I think it was believable at least for me that they hit it off in this episode.

Well said....it makes all the more sense to me she falls for the man in tights later in life. Superman is very proactive!
