What happened to Clark's scar this episode? No bandage or anything. I guess nobody pays attention to the obvious in smallville

there was a bandage... what are your talking about . when he was talking to chloe at the lake. there was a good size one. atleast 2" X 4" underneath his left side of his chest. like most bandaids it was skin colour so u may have missed it.

i missed it too. in fact i was goign to mention about this continuity part but apparently the writers covered themselves at least by having a bandage.

Well, not only was Clark wearing a band-aid, but Clark and Chloe actually talked about that fact that Clark was still wearing it...

See?
All you continuity nuts complain about the writers and then when you actually get it this season you don't even pay attention.
tsk tsk.

spoon is so right... everyone is so quickt to try and point out flaws that they miss everything else. They're looking so hard to see what's wrong they're missing that it's really right.

Well, i'm not a continuity nut but something like that is easily overlooked if you're not watching out for it, which I wasnt. I just dont remember seeing it.
Im sure i'm not the only one.

I wasn't looking for it in the beginning either then remembered around half way into the episode. Since it wasn't too obvious being skin colour I must have missed it and was about to point it out as well until I found this thread.

There WAS a bandage. It was huge and white.

It was a bandage in more ways than one. Not only was it a cosmetic cover for Clark's lack of a scar, but it was also a cosmetic cover for the fact that the writers completely skipped over any "real" repercussions of his injury. As far as we know, the only person who even bothered to question Clark's recovery was Lex, but even that was only between him and Lana.
Seriously, they had a golden chance to bring up the issue and they blew it. Lois just returned from a summer away, why didn't they have her ask about it? I'm sure they could have added a short question or quip from her just to show us all that the issue hasn't been completely blown over, without taking up too much time in the episode.

There was no scar at the end of Hidden, just a bandage (with no blood on it).
There was a much smaller adhesive bandage in its place in Aqua.
Hopefully, nobody has forgotten that any physical signs of injury would have disappeared post-powers-restoration.
The primary thing that's stupid about this on the whole:
This episode's placement in the overarching story seems random. Clark is supposedly wary of showing Lana his lack of scar, yet he decides to go swimming at the lake. GOOD PLAN, IDIOT!
Next week, Clark will be drawing large green circles around his general left chest area and dancing around Lana with his shirt off saying "don't look at me! don't look at me!"

Actually, Chloe made the comment to Clark about him not telling Lana yet in respose to Lana warning Clark about getting sunburned. I don't think Chloe actually referenced the bandage that Clark was still wearing.

I was one of those who missed the bandage on the first viewing of Smallville. But then, I'm not one of the nitpickers out there. :D

Lana is not so bright, I'm sorry. Only in S2 was she a bit suspicious of Clark. Now all she wants is midnight booty calls in the Talon and in Clark' bed. She's oblivious to everything else. Look at all the idiots she dates!
