I'm sorry to dissapoint some of you but after watching "AQUA" tonight I believe everything I have written on my threads in the past are turning to be correct. About Chloe's dress code, Lana's dress code, The writers placing us on a one way street and the next episode we find ourselves on a newly named 2-way street. About "No more Sectrets, No more Lies", I believe I mentioned this 2 weeks before even one of the leads of the show Kristin Kruek did. About the bullet hole, why Clark being afraid Lana might see the scar. What scar? Tonights episode he went in the water, and the bandage is as large, as one you place when you get cut shaving. When the bandage comes off there won't even be a scar.
This was Episode 5 of Season 5 and two important statements, one by Lana from last year...."Somehow I know this was meant for you..." and in the first Episode of this year, a line by Clark in the hospital to Lana..."No more Secrets, No more lies".
I think the producers have totally forgotten they even had these lines written.
About, the artifacts and their importance; the trip to China, Lana killing someone WITH the stone CAUSING the second Meteor shower....would you like me to go on?
Tonight was a good episode and how I saw it, especially at the end that it's the beginning of Clark falling in love with Lois Lane.
About Kristin Kruek unfortunately they have thrown her in the back seat of the show and maybe, maybe they are upset with her comments and speaking her mind to the press. The producers will have Clark slowly start to fall in love with Lois and have Kristin get killed, unfortunately for them and the mess they have created on the show, with, time after time changing the plots and not sticking with what was said today.
Instead, next episode is like a new show every time.

Lois and Chloe should take front and center. Of course, I like the Chlark and Clois. I despise KK.

Kristin had to do some filming for the movie "Partition," which is why Lana was barely in the episode.

I don't see them getting rid of Lana, since she has always been a major part of Superman's life in the comics.

I dont think Clark's falling in love with Lois Lane. I think they are becoming actual friends, which is something there werent last year.

Im also curious about Lana's meant for you line in Commencement. And I never thought they mention GT or Jason's death again. That little nugget will never be brought up again, mark my words.

I quess you're right. Anyway I enjoyed AQUA, and you know something after watching last night "Lost" it's just plain TV Entertainment and network competition. They do the same on that show with the writing of the episodes.
We are just wasting our time of trying to figure out this and figure out that. It's dumb on our part. We should just sit back and enjoy the shows no matter what they do with them. This has been going on since TV was created back in the late 40's. The only thing than was, no computers, nor Forums to express what you thought of every word said on the show. "Dallas" was the same so was "Falcon Crest" Anyway I'm just going back to my good old self and just enjoy the TV shows but only on DVDs. I don't like waiting 5 minutes of commercials. These last couple of years TV shows on DVD have become more popular than movie DVDs.
It's only Human Nature...different strokes for different folks. You might like apples and i like oranges, and nobody can change that. It's inner human feelings. I might think Kim Bassinger is the sexiest woman for her age in Hollywood and you might say what's he talking about, I think Madonna is, or I might like SMALLVILLE because I'm attracted to ERICA DURANCE and no other reason and you find her not very pretty and you like, say, Alicia and felt cheated that she was killed off.
I watch for instance "Lost" for only one reason, and one reason alone...Avangeline Lilly.....but that's me..

Snow many of your comments seem disjointed and jumbled. Could you maybe explain them better? I don't understand why KK would be somehow punished here. What exactly did she say? I don't see how Lana could have had a big role in this story since it was mainly about A.C. and Clark. It's not like she had a big role in Run, either.

What specifically were you talking about in the past that is true now? I can understand complaints about continuity and Clark not showing any scars in Aqua, the episode after he dies and was operated on (in the very least, shot). I can also understand about the Clark and Lana thing easing off, after all Clark does leave Smallville and Lana.

But I don't get your criticism with "No More Secrets..." and "This is for you" in this episode, considering this has nothing to do with the Clark and Lana relationship.

I don't see what the "artifacts and their importance" etc have to do with your posts. Maybe someone who's followed your posts might know, but I'm just confused. :)

Punished? I'm not sure I understand. I don't think I said she's being punished. Maybe you are reffering to where I say that the producers will probably be upset with her complaining to the press that for 4 seasons the story has stuck to "Sectrets and Lies"

Episode 5 doesn't have anything to do with those statements. I'm just trying to show that the statements where made a long time ago, 5 episodes have passed and six from the finale last year and nothing has been mentioned about what I believe are two very important statements in the show.
Lana saying..."I somehow believe this is meant for you..." reffering to the stone with Genevieve's blood on it and the cause of the second meteor shower which killed over 25 people in Smallville.
and,
In the first Episode this year Season 5 where Clark tells Lana at the hospital after she tells him she meant every word about loving him, but says "the question is did you?" He than sits on her bed an says..."No more Secrets, No more Lies" and kisses her with a smile. She than tells him about the spaceship and if he believes in life in other planets. Clark's answer..."Actually, i do".

I believe these statements are very, very important to the show because they emply a lot of things on both Lana's side and Clark's.
The producers however have totally ignored it so far and have made Clark Kent a lier again and more so now after he makes these promises and also sleeps with Lana.....That's not the Superman way..as Christopher Reeve says to Lois Lane in the first Superman movie that he...'stands for and believes in the truth, justice and the American way...."

They have made this whole affair of Lana & Clark who is the first girl he falls in love with and as Chloe says, "The love of your life"
a joke only because it has dragged with Clark's lies for 4 Seasons and it looks like they will continue it in Season 5 also, unfortunatelly. It has made a lot of people very frustrated, including Kristin Kruek as she speaks to the press about her feelings about this affair. They have lowered Clark Kent and I think have made Lana more classy because she tries in mumerous times to tell him the truth. Clark Kent has been made by the producers of the show to look like a fool, or dumb or unintelligent and of course very selfish by not telling Lana and giving her the choice to let her decide for herself...He wants to continue the intimate relationship without being fair to her. I call this selfishness. What would you call it?

KK may not have been in this episode much but she is the feature in next weeks. I think that they are trying to develop a friendship with Clark and Lois. It won't go beyond that in this sereis. They don't fall for eachother until they are working at the DP. I think if we wait patiently that more is to come about the day that Clark supposedly died and what happened to GT and Lana's role in that. Patience children.

i dont think they are removing KK (unlike dr. drake remoray from "friends" hehe). there are just some episodes which focus on different characters.

eg, i always like the chloe-centric episodes. this one happens to be lois-centric.

so even the Kents, Lionel, etc didnt even get an appearance. Chloe herself was here for a few minutes, probably given a break from the last 3-4 episodes where she had a strong appearance.

I don't think that's so important as the "Secrets and Lies" because if this was taken care of than there's no problem about Clark dying and coming back to life. I've said it before that from all the monotones for 4 easons have proven at least to me that Lana will accept his secret. I don't understand however, why they have made it such a big issue.

Her feature film "Partition" was already finished when they started filming the 5th Season in july....

About Lois Lane, who says the producers are following the story correctly. Lois shouldn't even be in Smallville and Clark Kent first meets her at the Daily Planet....

They can start the feeling towards Lois of Love and they can drag it like they did with Lana. We've seen many things from these producers. Clark remember says to Lois in the barn after realizing how much it means to Lois about Super Powers and saving the world, realizes that it is very easy for him to open up to Lois without being afraid. He makes a statement to the effect after realizing this...."Don't worry, you'll find someone more important" in other words more powerful and one also who can save the world, meaning himself....Be ready for a few sparks to ignite this Season between Lois and Clark. After all she'll be living in The Talon apartment and since she has signed for 13 episodes this years; having 11 left and her story was with AQUAMAN what else is it for Lois To do for the rest of the Season?

I've heard that DC won't allow a love relationship b/w Lois and Clark to develop on this show.

I heard that there were some final scenes which needed to filmed after "Smallville" had begun filming.

But that's really all beside the point, because even if the movie hadn't been an issue, it's clear that Lana didn't have to play a big role in Aqua.

Ah thanks for explaining things Snow. I understand what you're saying better.

My only other comments:

I don't think the producers are making Clark out to be dumb or selfish. If anything I think they've shown him to be intelligent and selfless. But conflicted, particularly with trying to shield his friends from his secret and the consequences of knowing it.

And I don't quite agree with your characterization of Clark keeping his secret from Lana. It's not selfish to protect the ones you love. :)
