I don't think so.

Aquaman is considerd the lamest of the lame and Ritchson's performance as him won't do him any favors.

Now if he pulls a Namor (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Namor) and goes on a crusade against terra firma, he might have a chance.

I freakin' love Aquaman now. He's a pimp. I want to see him in his own series. You know so Smallville fans will have a show to watch when it ends.

The actor was a bit stiff and he had 0 chemistry with Erica but given the background they present for the character, the way he played it might be about right. He's not supposed to relate to people well as he doesn't spend much time around them.

I thought they did a good job at portraying Aquaman. And it's pretty consistent with his history. Soon he'll find out about his mother and undersea empire.

I don't think this is preparation for a pilot. I just think this was a good episode that allowed us to take a break from alot of the drama that has built up for the last 4 seasons.

Anyhow, here's hoping for another JLA hero making an appearance down the line. :D
