Crater Lake

In Cool in Season 1 w/ice dude, there was a sign next to Crater Lake that said, "No diving, no boating, and no swimming," or something like that. There was also meteor rocks in the bottom of the lake. Am I the only one who remembers that? :confused: Cuz TPTB have seemed to disregard it saying, "Hey, who cares if there are meteor rocks at the bottom of the lake? The other meteor shower brought twice as much rock, so we might as well just hail in the freaks. And, just for the heck of it, let's say everyone forgets Clark got SHOT in the last episode, and Lion-El said that someone he loves is gonna DIE. To heck with it all.":lol:

are u sure thats the same lake? cause they've shown the lake that was in this ep before, but in s3. the ep where the girl makes clark sleep. and swimming was allowed. plus the lake your talking about was much smaller, than the one we've seen the past few eps with crater lake.

i don't think anyone forgot clark got shot, why do u think he was wearing the bandaid. plus clark is still bothered by the person dying thing, we saw it a few times, but he had a lot goin on in this ep. he can't think about everything at once. super powers or not i think his head would explode

Is there something I am missing from not reading the comics as far as the "Crater Lake" thing is concerned? I know its in Oregon, but is that something they just made up for the Smallville world for being in Kansas?

Its the lake where most of the meteor rocks are located in and YES it was made up for the show

Also maybe the sign was just put there because it was winter time. Still boating would be strange. Anyways seem to either be another thing that doesn't make sense or just a different lake.

ok, but seriously. it was season 1. heck they probably didn't even know if they were going more than one season. so i think we can cut them a little slack on this one.

Excuse me, but I believe that the second meteor shower left TEN times more rock, not two. :p :lol:

I'm pretty sure. The sign said Crater Lake.

In most cases I could, but i have mixed feelings about the writers at the moment.:confused:

Luthorcorp "cleaned up" the lake, silly. It's part of Lex's plan to create more meteor freaks he can exploit.
