Why would Clark not just tell Chloe it was Bart that she met and talked with for awhile at the Talon or is Clark trying to keep that secret from her also since maybe Bart will be coming back sometime soon in the near future. This season so far he has been really open with her about other people with abilities that are not from Smallville and the rocks but Clark has other things in mind about that situation and im sure if not this season then the
next when we start to see superman start to form more he will surround himself with other super heros he knows like the two already on the show thus far.

I think he didn't go into great detail because it wasn't neccesary information to pass along to the viewers. All we needed to know (assuming we hadn't seen the episode) is that he met someone who could run fast.
Also just because Chloe knows Clark's secret, doesn't mean he should tell her about every other super being he's ever met. Think about it. When Clark becomes Superman in the comics he doesn't just tell Lois about the secret identities of every single JLA member. One could argue it's not Clark's place to tell her.

As brought up in at least one other thread, Clark could have just mentioned Bart, but chose to handle it smoothly by avoiding using his name. Pretty cool on his part.

Maybe it didn't suit well with him that even though he's fast in the sea or land, there's always someone faster than him. But not too worry, Clark, soon the air domain is yours.

I agree that there probably wasn't any need to go into great detail because fans of the show would know who he was refering to. It would have been cool to hear him say Bart's name. On the other hand, he could have just not wanted Chloe to know, which is kind of understandable. There is no way of knowing if Bart would want Chloe to know. At least Clark is respecting Bart's right to annoymity.
Syazali,
He definately will have the air soon enough... LOL
However, Clark will get a lot faster as he gets older. For all intense purposes, he is still growing into all his powers.

Just because Chloe knows about Clark right now doesn't really give him the right to tell her about anyone else. Be they Bart or anyone else.
Think of it like this: Say you and a friend shared a secret that you did something in the past that you weren't too proud of, or just something that was personal between you. But it's something both of you have in common. A mutual friend finds out about your friend, do you want your friend to say "Yeah, and so and so is just like me."

Yeah, main thought was that Clark may have dropped the name on her since Bart was so open about his powers and wanted to tell people and as he said use your abilities as a gift and dont think of them as a burden. I guess this just goes to show the level of the relationship they have more so since Bart would have wanted her to know probably but Clark the way he is does not want anyone to know about powerd individuals no matter what so it was a good refrence overall.

It's funny, I actually thought Clark was talking about Ryan at first, when he said "there was this kid...", and I was like, "ah, you remember him". Then he finished the sentence with "who ran too fast for his own good", then I was like, "Oh. Flash. Well, that's nicely remembered too".

I think it was a great little note to last season and Bart. Hopefully, we'll get to see him again this year.

Yeah, even if Bart was more open to telling people, even then he kept his secret from some people. Bart may or may not have told Chloe. Either way that's up to Bart to decide, not Clark.
As for Bruce Wayne. I agree nothing would be cooler, but we all know that isn't going to happen.

Why not? Bruce Wayne comes to SV as someone who "rubs elbows" with Lex Luthor in the upper echelon of society. On the flip side, he's also looking into the illegal experiments that Luthorcorp is doing. It will augment the distrust that Clark is developing for Lex, much like how AC opened that whole idea up in the young Superman.
BUT it would also seem too much like a rehash of Aqua, since it would be inevitable for Lois to fall for Bruce (in the comics, they have a relationship for a while).
It would also be cool to see the seeds of the friendship between Bruce and Kal start already because, as those who follow the comics would know, both these heroes, who coincidentally fight crime in two varied ways, are best friends as well. Bruce is the one Kal entrusted the Kryptonite ring to, to use against him should he turn to evil at any point in time.

They cant just whore loads of other super heros on SV so I doubt we will see Bruce Wayne anytime soon, but I am sure Tom Welling will announce they are useing another super hero in season 6 sometime soon so look for that. Ever since Run did so good with the flash I think they are going to keep that aspect up until the last season and who knows we may even get a few of them or mor ein the last season. Enough of the male super heros I agree lets see some supergirl, wonderwoman action already!

they where actully gonna use bruce wayne in season 3. anyone remember adam? he was originaly gonna be bruce but then DC didn`t allow it cause of batman begins. it is the same reason why they used barts name instead of jay barry or wally. and the same reason diana wont be used. if there isa movie about it being made it cant be used.

Adam "Knight" was originally going to be the young Batman for Smallville.
The Smallville team went even so far as to show "Adam's" marital arts skills, high intelligence and computer skills, traits and skills Batman notoriously uses when fighting crime.
He was in a relationship with Lana and everything was going great!
Suddenly the Smallville got word from TPTB that they were not allowed to have Batman on Smallville!
This sent the Directors, Producers, Writers and Cast running, trying to find a way out of this predicament.
Finally the desperation caused the writers to create zombie Adam, which explains Adam's sudden change character style and motives.
Which we watched, hated and forever banned from our memories.
At least Smallville tried, we at least gotta give them credit for that.
Question: How did this thread shift from Bart to Batman?

It's funny. I saw a promo for one of the WB's shows where there is a Halloween party and some guy was wearing a Batman suit. It's just weird to see that the characters in whatever show that was know about Batman (hence they dress up as him for Halloween) but the same can't be said for Smallville (since Batman is not supposed to exist yet). It's weird to see a show that's about how Superman would have been brought up in the 21st century and how these characters aren't supposed to know about pop culture icons like Superman & Batman who have existed for years.
