I liked run for the interaction . but aqua was better for setting up more of the season stories

I disagree, run was much better overall even for setting up future season stories.

I don't care if Aqua did set up more, Run was a much better episode overall.

Run had a better ending (still one of the best in the history of the show, IMO), but Aqua was slightly better overall, mainly b/c of evil Lex, Milton Fine, and Lois and Clark foreshadowing.

Note: Both episodes were great, and both had very little Lana in them (HINT! HINT!!)

Run is one of my favorite episodes in season 4. I enjoyed Aqua very much but Run was better to me.

I enjoy seeing Clark team up with someone else with powers.:D

Run, Ageless were some of the episodes I didn't touch again on the DVD

I barely watched Run and thought it was childish/silly like next week's episode. :D

Run had the better ending but Aqua had better character interaction. AC and Bart were different, in a good way, from Clark in that they accepted their gifts. They differed from each other in how they used them so I think that gives Aqua the advantage. Showing Clark not only acceptance, but what to do with it afterwards.

Bart: "Dude!"
Arthur: "Bro!"

All we need now is a young version of Jon Stuart (future Green Lantern after Hal Jordan) to say "Homey!" and we'll be set.

Aqua was fun but not as fun as Run. Cinnamon bun?

Clark: "What are you doing?"

Bart: "I'm eating a COOKIE dude!"

I really liked both episodes in that they both give us a look at the DCU outside of Superman. I also thought they were very well done. This one definately had more set up for the season though, and I did like how Clark and AC teamed up more at the end of this episode.

The difference between Run and Aqua was Clark kinda served as some sort of example/role model to Bart, while AC pretty much served as one for Clark... Even though he didn't use these exact words, AC basically told Clark to stop whining, shut the hell up, embrace his gifts and use them for the greater good..

I'm sure at that point Jor-El must've thought about disowning Clark and adopting Aquaman..

And both Bart and AC basically told Clark he needs to stop being so damn uptight and have some fun! Clark REALLY needs his next Red K fix bad!

There is no way that you can even compare Aqua to Run.

Run was so much better. Run really gave us a good look at Bart's power, and it had a lot of interaction between Bart and Clark. The end scene was also great as well.

Aqua was not the worst episode I have seen, but it did not really live up to my expectations either. It did a good job of setting up the future events with Brainiac and Clark, and gave insight into Lex. But the appeal of the episode(besides Lois) was supposed to be the introduction of a new hero and the interaction between Clark and A.C.. This is where the episode fell short, and that is where Run excelled which is why Run is a much better episode in my opinion.

I was hoping for a cool send off like we got in Run, but all we got was a "stay super bro".

Well apart from AC's making like an Earth Firster with his blowing sh--stuff up!

Run was just so much better. It is one of my all time fav eps. This episode was not one I will really care to remember that much. It was not that bad but not good either.

Bart was punk, he used K on Clark. He got Clark in trouble, A.C. helped Clark.

Both told him make better use of his powers.

Run was amazing. It's still my favorite episode. This was great, but not on the level of RUN.

Run, by a long shot.

Kyle Gallner was fantastic in his role, unlike Alan. Bart had a good back story, unlike Arthur. And there was no unnecessary romantic plot in Run. Sure, a little playful banter between Bart and Chloe, but that was natural and didn't take up half of the episode. There was also a MUCH better dynamic between Tom and Kyle.

Run is my favorite episode so its not really close. Best ending ever IMO.

Aqua was better because it kicked Clark in the butt to see that there's a bigger world out there and to get him out of his self-absorption. Plus any ep with James in it rocks! I didn't like run because the kid was too annoying.

Run, as it's probably my favorite show ever. That said, I really enjoyed Aqua, and I'll be watching it again tonight. :D

I don't think Aqua was that bad of an episode but I gotta say that Run was a lot better. I think one of the reason's I might think this is because 'Run' had to follow 'Facade' and 'Devoted' which were ok but nowhere nears as good as 'Arrival', 'Mortal', and 'Hidden'. 'Aqua' had just too much to live up to after 3 very good episodes.

I think that may have made me think that Aqua was worse than Run a little more than it actually was, I still enjoyed Run more though. Plus I didn't think that Alan Ritchson did that good of an acting job, definately not as good as Kyle Gallner.

Well Alan only had to play an arrogant jock, which might not be too far from his current personality. Heck if I were that handsome I'd probably be an arrogant jock! :p

I wasn't expecting high drama from him. That said, he's the king of the sea AND one-liners. It's like they had a half-off sale on them. :p

I like Aqua but Run is so much better! Simply because I don't find Alan Ritchson was right for the part.
