Since none of them have gills, they weren't important to the storyline :)

I read in an interview somewhere that John Schneider is only signed to 17 episodes and that Erica Durance is signed to 13 (just like last year).

The truth is they are just plain annoying. They took the week off to return to Mt. Moral.

LoL, j/k of course. I was shocked that they didn't get even a moment of screen time (aside from credits... and the Go Forward tags ad at the end).

Honestly I don't mind taking a break from some characters. The main 4 I want to see are Clark, Lana, Chloe and Lex. I might like this professor Fine guy .... we'll see. :D

if they aint in the episode, then why still have their starting credits when the show starts?

Ummmm.......so what should they do. Shoot 5 million openings to only include which characters are featured in the episode. I don' t think so.

The kents are supporting characters. They only need be in an episode where they're needed. I hate it when they cram every character into the show, just to give em screen time. In this episode, we didnt need to see them, so why show them

ma and pa were off in metropolis havin a role in the hey so naturally they can't be in this episode.
