He meant the Junior Lifeguard, but I'm assuming you guys are referring to the Justice League?

its kind of funny considering Superman, Batman, WonderWoman, and Martian Mahunter are the main ppl in the JLA yet Aquaman and the flash are already talking about it.

well he's only 18... and Clark wasn't in the first Justice League. At first he turned down the invite but later joined after seeing their teamwork and the greater good that a team can do when the JL mass organized heroes to stop a mass genocide/alien invasion kind of thing. (can't remember the story too clearly since I read it quite a while ago)

If I recall correctly, Martian Manhunter was not in the original Justice League of America?

yeah, actually Martian Manhunter has been in every single incarnation of the Justice League (except the Super Friends, but who really counts the Super Friends ;-)).

I never liked the Martian Manhunter, but yeah, he's an original. (unlike Hawkgirl :p)

The JLA remark cracked me up! I love the Superman references that TPTB throw into the show :D

I only heard the JLA part. Hahaa.. that's probably the coolest line in the episode.

Actually, I could do some research, but I think Superman was a JLA founder pre-Crisis from what I remember collecting comics back then. Not sure about post-Crisis.
