Yeah, you would think he'd want the power to super speed. It would have saved me from being late to class on a few occasions.

Yeah, that's about the only power I would want.

The being nearly indestructable is pretty cool too..

And oh! Flying! But Clarkie can't fly yet, so he doesn't know about that power.

I don't think Clark is depressed about having powers, he's depressed that having his powers back means he has to lie to everyone he loves again

Therefore he's upset about having powers.

All Clark needs is some Red kryptonite and he might start singing like a bird to those friends ;) -- problem solved.

Clark's whining is really starting to get old. What's that noise? Why, it's the world's smallest violin playing just for you, Clark.:p

Chole is not the real problem. It is just Clark being a little b****. I hate what they have done with this whole thing. It would be better to just see Clark happy about it. Come on would he really care that much about having to lie to everybody again. He's been doing it his whole life. It is all he knows.

Chloe is anything but the problem. She has total support, respect, and let's face it, love for the BDA. She keeps pointing out to him in logical and intelligent ways what a gift he has, and that there's so much he should (and will) do with those abilities.

That said....Clarkie...sometimes you make me puke with all the whining. I would take those powers in a heartbeat!!!!!!

Though I think once he realized AC was really a good guy, and the he has been so naieve all along....we may be starting to see the BDA break out of that shell.

Smallville Clark Kent, Peter Parker in Spiderman 2, and Rodimus Prime of The Transformers all have the same thing in common. They all whined about their powers/roles/responsibilities...

At least Dr. Banner had an excuse, his constant metamorphosis into the Hulk was causing him to run through his clothing allowance like it was nothing, and even then he still didn't whine nearly as much as the above 3.

Really I can understand the problems of having all those super powers. Being a superhero can cramp your social life!

"Up, up, and aw... crap I am going to be late for my date"

I think the problem is Chloe more than Clark. She keeps bringing it up all the time.

Maybe we could give Clark just a little break here. He's not complaining because he can do these great things. He's not happy because he has to keep lying.

The reason him and Lana were not together for the last 3 years is because he couldn't tell her the truth. Now, they are together and doesn't have to lie. Then, everything changes and he's has to start lying to her again - of course he's going to be upset about that. And, it's not as simple as "hey, I'm a meteor freak" He killed her parents !! That's a BIG deal.

Plus, it's not bad enough that he's going through this, but Chloe keeps walking up "hey, I see your still lying to everyone.." that's not helpful.

I can understand why Clark is having such a hard time with his powers. At this point, he wants to be human (it's all he knows, so give him a break there), and his powers are a constant reminder that he isn't. Plus, he knows he'll never lead a normal life, probably can't have kids, and doesn't know how the world will react to him if they find out.

Remember, in SV world, Earth doesn't know there are aliens out there.

That being said, YES--I do want Clark to finally accept his abilities, and his alien heritage this season.

But, I don't want it to be this switch-on, "Oh, I accept myself now," crap.

Well, now that Lana isn't whining all the time, I guess they needed someone to fill in. Clark was the lucky winner.

haha low blow! low blow! It really didn't feel like smallville since the major players were only lex, clark and AC... It felt more like just another superhero show...

ok I have a question regarding Lana, have we ever thought that she might know!? I was rewatching Hidden, and when clark is lying in the hospital, she tells him along the lines "...you would never change, and always be there to save the day, and all the times i pulled away, because this day would come ....now wat exactly does this mean!!?? first off one day we all past on, but is it maybe bc clark saves the day all the time and someday he would die, I just wish the girl would just know already lol
