I think it is good to see other members of the Justic League, part of what Superman is is the leader of the Justice League so it is good to see Clark develop in that respect.

I wonder who will be next -- Bruce Wayne?
Although he doesn't have any powers.
Who else could it be?

Wonder Woman.
I would pay to see that episode, haha.
The hilarity would be unbareable.

I think since Wonder Woman is in development with the film division it's unlikely we'll be seeing her, but one never knows.

I want to see J. Jonzz. (sp?), WW, GL, or Hawkwoman. I don't WW will be on there though. It would be nice to see Lana cast in her shadow. Clark would be like "Lana who?" lol. The other three might have a chance though. Shayera is HW right?? I asked before but I forgot.

I'd love to see it happen as well.
My prospect list:
Wonder Woman (Yes, I do agree :) :D)
Green Lantern (Hal Jordan preferably)
Green Arrow (Oliver Queen since we've already got a mention of him)
Batman (Yeah, a part of me is still holding out for this one)
Martian Manhunter (A bit of a stretch but he could teach Clark a little something about the world)
Volcana

bruce on the other hand has very cool toys to catch crimals with tho
i agree with trusupagyrl, they should get all the rest of the main 7 jla members on the show, then all of them 2gether in one episode 2 parter where clark needs all of their help or sumthin, that would truley be a great foreshadow
just a thought

Green Arrow (Oliver Queen since we've already got a mention of him)
When did that happen?

Wow! Someone agrees with me. That doesn't happen very often.
The 2 parter idea is good though. Maybe TPTB will throw us a bone the last seaon.
yea def, durin the last season they have to go out with a bang!

It would be great if they brought in some JLA the last season and then did a spin-off. I would love to see that. Am I getting too delusional?

yes u are haha, but im hoping for all the rest future jla members to make an apearence
wonder woman aka diana prince
green lantern aka hal jordan
martian manhunter aka john jones aka jonn jonzz
batman aka bruce wayne

i really don't understand how one apperance from either of the characters can mess up the movie. Probably a whole bunch of legal crap I don't get.
yea its all that legal crap no one understands...

I still think they could do it if they really wanted to.

He doesn't need powers lol. He has more money than God and brains. In all respects he more of a superhero than most other DC characters. He's a normal guy that does extraordinary things. A bit crazy IMHO but hey! Brains over brute force baby!

Plus, don't forget, he is a brilliant detective. Even Superman with all of his Kryptonian intelligence isn't as good of a detective as Batman.
I think it would be more interesting to bring on the Green Lantern though. Imagine what they could do with his powers.

The MArtian would be a strecth. Isn't he on Mars? Or is he discovered on Earth?

Wonder Woman would be great though.

Yeah it would be cool but his character is a more expencive character for the show. His abilities require the use of CG which make him a less likely. :-(

How about a Marvel cross-over?
Spiderman?
norman619

How about Spawn? LOL Man it'd be priceless to see how Smallville would deal with him. LOL

Good call!
Maybe Captain America?

The next member of the JL, to guest star on smallville should be Bruce Wayne.
He's the only one I want to see.
And I think it would be awesome if Christian Bale was young Bruce Wayne .
mbarlow
10-24-2005, 08:31 AM
there's no way he would do it
marvel smallville crossovers? thats way too much of a strecth and would never happen, still hoping for bruce wayne of course and any other members of the jla to stop by, and if green lantern, hal jordan, where to be on the show he wouldnt have any powers cuz he wouldnt have gotton his ring yet, in the smallville universe there arnt any superheroes yet as well so hal jordan with powers on the show wouldnt make sense if hes out there already doing the super hero thing, the only thing they could do with him on the show would be to use his piloting skills to tie into the story line,

That's a very good point. I didn't think of that.
Bruce Wayne couldn't really be Batman either. He would just be a smart guy that was learning martial arts.

What about a Lobo appearance? That'd be cool since Lobo is 100% able to beat the tar out of Superman. Would be nice to show him chasing some bounty to Smallville.
lobo on the show would be an alright idea, but he is an alien, clark doesnt know that theres other aliens besides him around, if they were to introduce another alien to the show it should be martian manhunter because they both have somthing in common: they are both the last surving sons of a dead planet and clark could learn a thing or two from him like he did from bart and arther
norman619
10-24-2005, 05:33 PM
LOL unless the Martian can travel to Earth on his own I seriously doubt he will pop up on the show but Lobo has his own wheels. :-) It would be more interesting than seeing two orphan aliens saying "Gee... I wish I could be with my own people. I miss my family. I feel soo alone.... blah blah blah....." Well it would be for me at least. :-)
Besides, Lobo is the coolest looking semi bad guy in the DC universe IMHO.

Important Note!
All cameo appearances by ALL the young and future Justice League members on Smallville, will be complete by Season's 7 end!!!
Concept screenplay and write-up for the film version in the works for Summer/Fall 2009 (projected).
Believe it!...or not.

I think a GL or Jonnjon appearance would really be good for the story. Imagine - GL is a human who was given powers by alien intelligence while Martian Manhunter is an alien out to save earth as well. It would really help in pushing Clark to accepting his destiny.

Where did that movie info come from?
When something sounds too good to be true.
It normally is.

As a side note, the Wonder Woman movie you know is in the works and that actress Kate Beckinsale is in talks to play the role.
The Flash and other League'rs are considered longshots as individual feature films. Considering where they will take Brandon Roth in the new "Superman Returns" movie out Summer 2006 and beyond.
There will be some executive discussion as to follow-ups and tie-ins to the popular Smallville series and the Wonder Woman movie.
Justice League people!! and we are not talking about the cartoon---but the "down and grity" action that may leave all other action packed movies to date in the dust!
Forget the Star Wars Saga folks!
If you can image a dialogue/character, a taut plot driven, special effects extravanganza packed with raw emotion, then look for it in 2009!!

Me too.
lol if anyone falls for this fake information I feel sorry.
Seriously, if this movie was being made or organized then I highly doubt the first we ever heard of it would come from some random poster on a smallville forum.
A movie this big (all the famous DC comic stars) would have been all over the entertainment news.
Trust me, no one wants to be more wrong than I do. I love JLA and I would probably kill just to see it. However, feeding people falls lies knowing they will bite because they want to believe is just wrong.
If I was a mod I probably would have ban you.
with the xmen films a success i woudlnt be surpirsed if there was a jla movie, im sure there will be some day just not anytime soon, that movie would be crazy expensive though with all the diofferent heroes and their powers, the jla is way more complicated than the xmen, marvel once mentioned that if they were to make an avergers movie it would be almost 1 billion to make
and current dc movies in the works are superman returns, wonder woman, flash and batman begins 2

Yes! Agreed!
The economics of making such a film is staggering, but not a great stretch. Considering the Justice League you are talking about is the first one started by Superman with just the founding members.
There is you all know 'Justice League Unlimited'; now that will be an ecomomic/cinamatic nightmare to pull off!! Especially when you take into account the basics----budget, scheduling, physical training/coreography of most of the actors involved.
I would not want to be Director of Photography for a film on such a scale!!!

Ya I would like to see ethier the Kyle
Ryner GL our the John Stewart Green
Latern make a aperance on the show
and he can explian to Clark about the
power of the ring he has on and it could
have a Lex twist to that story to just like
it did with Aqua

A JLA movie would look too silly in my opinion. If they have them in their TV/Comic costumes. It would be a VERY FX heavy film which would make it VERY expensive. At least it would be if they did it right. We'd see something about it on SuperheroHype or other comic movie site. I feel we are being fed a load of horse crap but hey who knows?
